Hera felt bad. Well, perhaps bad was the incorrect word. Hera knew she should've felt bad that the last social event for Padawans had been tainted with a sour note, and that was directly her fault for her meddling in the relationship between her student -no, he was a peer now- and a padawan. She regretted her words, and her decision, and decided to change her mindset moving forward. But changing her mindset, for Hera, was closer to recarving a life-size statue of the infamous Millennium Falcon. It would take time and effort.

This was an exertion of that effort.

A rumor had been spread among the Padawans and a few, select, Knights. There would be a social event on Zeltros organized by Leon (@Zay). There was to be alcohol, music, and it was to be hosted at a club that had been rented out for the entire night. It was all true, except for the part that was organized by Leon. Keeping a careful eye on her Padawan, Hera believed she had been able to keep the rumor from floating his way. All the while, she bought out the Zeltros club for a night, ordered real alcohol to be served, and organized a popular DJ to show up for the entertainment.

Then, at the very last moment, told Leon they had a mission on Zeltros. Just like her other missions she gave Leon a time and date to meet her but did not specifically ride with him. It was a rite of passage to make her Padawan travel on his own, get him accustomed to the universe without her. Though, of course, Leon was more than capable with these kinds of 'tests.'

So Hera, hiding atop the building and concealing her presence within the Force, waited for the Padawans and Knights to filter in. She would not be crashing this party, not this time, but she would remain close by in case any danger sprung up.

Leon was pissed. He’d just survived a near death experience on some backwater planet had hadn’t had time to take a shit, before getting a message from Hera. That’s it. The Order was trying to kill him. That or they were trying to make him forget the mind rending experiences he’d had the past few months. He sighed. His hands shook when he released the control’s of his starfighter. Peetwo nudged him gently and Leon gave the little droid's head a scratch, “I’m good, lil dude.

He opened his cockpit and vaulted over the side of his ship. He checked his text messages, he wasn’t always on the galaxy's most popular party planet, but when he was he might as well party. After all wasn’t the saying, “What happens on Zeltros, STAYS on Zeltros?” Leon pulled up Jayna’s (@Altaris) contact.

“You know what’s annoying about Zeltros? You’re not here.”

Send.

He hated that sending that dumb little message had been the best part of his day, but if he was gonna have to do some lame courier crap for Hera (@Black Noise) he was going to flirt with Jayna while he had signal. A vague memory of gaslighting Ezra out to Ellora drifted through his mind, he resisted, but the temptation was there. He pulled up his nav app and made his way toward the rendezvous point.

Just down the street he spotted the bar, to his surprise, it actually looked like a cool place. A glance at his chrono told him he was early, and since Hera was always late, he wasn’t going to loiter outside while he waited. He slipped into a cafe just down the street and got an iced caf. Then snagged a seat and played on his phone. It was crazy how much he’d fallen in love with Swokemon Go. Peetwo poked his head out of the sling bag on Leon's shoulder. It chortled excitedly when it saw the game and Leon shifted the screen so they could both see.

Now that she thought back on it, the only parties she’d ever been to had been on the trail of an overly-extroverted friend or a sibling’s birthday. Lakay’la figured the latter didn’t really count.

The Half-Twi’lek from Corulag had hardly ever felt more out of place before than in the midst of the growing social on one of the most touristy planets in the entire galaxy and endlessly fidgeted on her seat at the bar. The familiar elements were in place; people had already begun grouping off in sections that were attempting to have conversations over the music. A DJ was setting up and testing sound quality for the louder parts of the night. Many of the expressions on the few party-goers reflected an impatience for the real revelry to start.

Lakay’la suppressed another groan at the knowledge that not only did she likely not know anyone who was going to be at this thing, but that she was early to it.

She sipped on a drink that was far too bright through a straw that had far too many twists and wished that she were elsewhere. However, the Padawan was committed to getting to know more Jedi than just her own Master and she’d heard through the grapevine that this was the event to meet some at and hopefully even form a connection or two. It didn’t strike Lakay’la as the sort of place that she’d think to do such a thing, but then again nothing about being a Jedi was as she had expected it would be.

She’d go with the flow, even if it turned into a flow of booze drank in solitude while she struggled to figure out how anyone ever really makes friends.

Not wanting to blast through drinks before the night had even started, Lakay’la found herself idly stabbing the floating ice with her straw while her eyes wandered. Had she gotten the wrong night? The wrong club? Either would be fairly typical of her luck. For all she knew, this was the precursor to an eccentric Wookie’s Lifeday celebration.

From all planets that the Order could have selected to make a party, Zeltros was the last one that Aranmir thought that they would choose. The world that existed in a perpetual state of celebration and that rivaled G’wenee as one of best vacation spots of the Galaxy wasn’t exactly the place where a group of monks would gather to meet. It probably was Leon’s idea, since the rumors said that he was the one behind its organization.

The Tiefling would thank the other Padawan when they saw each other. It was better than staying in Ithor.

Dressed in a way that made him look nothing like a Jedi, Aranmir arrived at the club with a big smile on his lips. The place was nice and very much like something that he would expect from a planet like Zeltros. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as full as he had imagined that it would be. The Tiefling wondered if he had arrived early.

Shrugging, the Padawan walked toward the bar. He would sit next to a Twi’lek (@Roobi) and ask the bartender for the best drink of the house. While he waited for his beverage, Aranmir would look around, expecting to see a known face at any moment.

"I just am not able to compute how you would be able to adequately defend against possible gate crashers wielding lightsabers. So far you've failed to identify the most basic tenets of Form I, your slouching posture does not give the indication of one accustomed to combat and I don't even see a weapon on your person. I apologize but I deem it best if you find another activity to pursue and leave the security to me."Knight-Bot lectured the Imroosian bouncer standing guard outside the club. The poor bouncer was doubtless apathetic about his job and kept trying to shoo off the Jedi droid into bothering someone else. As of yet, the attempts were unsuccessful.

"I keep telling you pal, I'm not paid enough to listen to this bantha crap. Why don't you find your owner and get the hell out of here?"the bouncer pleaded.

"That action would not fall under the confines of my programming." Knight-Bot replied coolly. Whether it was a Padawan trolling or a mistake, Knight-Bot had found himself included on a text chain, letting him know that many Jedi Padawans were to be gathering at this club for some kind of frivolity and that meant his place was here; either protecting the young Jedi or challenging them to duels to test their saber abilities.
