Zerachiel Azariah

Ancient_Jedi_by_lusiphur.jpg

NAME: Zerachiel Azariah (Cera-kyell Az-uh-Rye-uh)
FACTION: Jedi
RANK: N/A
SPECIES: Human
AGE: 20
GENDER: Male
HEIGHT: 6'
WEIGHT: 156 lbs
EYES: Blue
HAIR: None
SKIN: Pale
CREDITS:
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: Ritualistic Birth Tattoo on his right side.
DOMINATE HAND: Right
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes

STRENGTH: Zerachiel is definitely stronger than most due to his daily exercise routines. 8/10
DESTERITY: In comparison to his size, Zerachiel is very agile, but in comparison to those smaller than himself, he's just a tad above average. 6/10
CONSTITUTION: Zerachiel is as healthy as one could hope to be. 10/10
INTELLIGENCE: Because Zerachiel indulges himself in the teachings of the Jedi and Republic, he is very intelligent. 8/10
WISDOM: Despite his curriculum, Zerachiel still has much to learn about himself and others. 5/10
CHARISMA: Due to sheer intimidation, Zerachiel is quite persuasive. His quiet demeanor adds to this at times. 7.5/10

FORCE POWERS:
Force Pull
Force Push
Force Levitation (Limited to only Small-Medium Sized objects)
Force Jump

SKILLS:
Moderate Swordsmanship

LIGHTSABER/SWORD FORMS:
Zerachiel knows the inner workings of Shii-Cho, as do all Padawans, but spends his time learning the combat style of Shien.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Zerachiel's main strengths are his ability to intimidate others, sometimes with only a glare, and his hunger for knowledge of all types. Along with these, Zerachiel has keen hearing, giving him a slight advantage in combat, even for a Jedi.

However, Zerachiel is quick to act violently, though he does seek peaceful solutions at first. When these fail at the first try, Zerachiel doesn't rethink his approach, he merely begins the 'aggressive' negotiations.

GEAR:
Armor on his right side

PERSONALITY:
Zerachiel always wishes to do what is right no matter the cost. It is because of this nature, and his overall appearance, that some find him to be, in blunt terms, scary. His blunt and straight to the point attitude add to this view of him, though Zerachiel doesn't enjoy it. Even though he can intimidate to get what he wants from others, Zerachiel wishes only for peace and serenity within himself and others.

Though he wishes these things, Zerachiel is a violent person - his main reason for wishing inner peace. He maintains a rational mind for the most part, but does not accept failure very well, and resorts to violence when he does fail in any manner. He has found that forcing himself through rigorous and intense exercise regimens help reduce his anger and stress level, as does studying - two things he enjoys very much - , though when those are not readily or immediately available, he is lost, as he cannot seem to concentrate well enough to meditate.

HISTORY:

During the Rainy season on Corellia, a group of cultists gathered around as one of their members was giving birth. The woman, in her early Twenties, was named Bithiah, and she was the daughter of the Cult Leader. The father was unknown, but many of the members speculated that her father was the child's father. Despite the rumors, Bithiah raised her child as she would a normal baby boy until he was 3, when, by the traditions of her Father's cult, her son was given a name befitting of his family and the Tattoo of the Cult. The Order of the Blade, it was called, and the boy was forever branded a member and given the name Zerachiel Azariah.

He was raised as a part of the cult until he was ten, when his mother was saved by a Jedi Knight. Zerachiel showed the first inklings of Force Sensitivity, and the Jedi told Bithiah of this. Of the Force. He convinced her that her son would have a better life with the Jedi. While this wasn't necessarily true in some aspects, when told of how great her son could become as a Jedi, and of how much potential he had, Bithiah held no doubts about the Jedi or her decision. Zerachiel left with the Jedi Knight for the Jedi Temple, reluctantly leaving his mother. It was on that day that the young Azariah boy became secluded and distant, as he had no one left to identify with and was suddenly alone in the universe.

Bithiah was later murdered by her father for allowing her son to leave the cult, an act that was forbidden by their laws. Bithiah's father sent out assassins to kill the boy as well, but returned unsuccessfully after three years of merely searching for him. Afraid of what the boy would tell authorities of his following, Abraham, once known as Abram, ordered his disciples to commit suicide. The mass suicide was later known of throughout the Galaxy, though there are as many versions as there are Planets and people within the galaxy itself.

I think you are supposed to have at least 50 words before posting a profile even if it is a WIP.

I know. I was in the process of typing it up when I got kicked off. Now that I'm home, I can finish what I started. Had I waited until I got home to post it, I would've lost the stuff I had then.

Am I the only one who finds it ironic that the self-described redneck is the guy who makes a character whose father is also his grandfather?

Er...Sii-Cho is form 1, Form 0 is what is taught to the younglings. And I thought the father bit was funny. Other than that it's a good profile.

Actually it depends where you look it up, but it's a minor point tbh.

Shii-Cho was what Yoda was teaching the Younglings in Attack of the Clones.

Fair enough, it is the basics of lightsaber combat in general, but I'm sure I read somewhere that Form 0 was what te younglings learned...I think in that list of lightsaber forms somebody posted in the old Jedi section, but still, many people throw Sii-Cho away as "not a real form" when it is. When mastered it can be lethal...

Form 0 isn't actually a form. It's the wisdom behind using a lightsaber.

Basically it's not how to use a lightsaber, it's when to use it. It's lightsaber theory.

Still, Form I is quite a good form. It's simple, and it's effective. No stupid feints or anything, just simple swings and blocks. Plus, Kit Fisto used it, so it's automatically cool.

Just don't use it against crazy old guys who scream like a banshee and take over the galaxy.

Apparently the only way you have any hope in that situation is to literally throw the senate at them.
