DESCRIPTION
During the reign of the First Galactic Empire, Kuat Shipyards drafted a design for an electronic warfare cruiser. However, before a prototype could be constructed, the Empire fell and the need for such a ship vanished. During the war between the Resistance and the First Order, the design was submitted to the First Order, but fate struck once again: Supreme Leader Snoke died, and in the ensuing chaos the file was lost. Finally, with many modernizations and refinements, the design became the formidable Zephyr-class heavy cruiser. Although it might lack the fearsome firepower of a Star Destroyer, the Zephyr-class more than makes up for it in electronic warfare and jamming capabilities. Capable of jamming the transmissions and scrambling the sensors of a small fleet (six ships of freighter or corvette class, five ships of freighter or cruiser class, and one ship of destroyer class or above), the Zephyr-class is a game-changing warship. In addition, it can fool sensors about the identity of itself and nearby ships (up to ten at a time), able to mimic the sensor appearance of everything from an X-Wing to a Death Star down to the most miniscule details. However, this does not change the visual appearance of the ship. It can also jam tracking and homing weapons or trick them into targeting nonexistent objects. The ship can even interfere with nearby navigation and targeting computers for up to a minute at a time, although it must wait twenty-four hours before it can use such an ability again. In addition, the starship is designed to complement allied starfighters and ground forces with its advanced sensor and electronic warfare systems. Sadly, due to the sensitivity of the jamming equipment, the Zephyr-class cannot utilize any modifications. Unusually, this class of ship uses one giant engine complemented by four smaller ones. Unfortunately, the exposed sensor and electronic warfare equipment are very exposed and easy to knock out once the shields are down. The cruiser is very rare and highly expensive, only sold to certain groups due to the power of its equipment.

LEGALITY
Highly restricted. The Zephyr-class cruiser has heavy weapons capable of destroying large targets and also can jam the sensors and comms of a small fleet. They are heavily regulated and subject to intense scrutiny by authorities. In addition, these ships cannot be owned by individuals and civilians.

INTENT
To create a powerful electronic warfare-equipped cruiser for larger paramilitary/military organizations, something lacking in the current timeline.

RESTRICTIONS
The Zephyr-class cruiser is incredibly powerful, expensive, rare, and dangerous electronic warfare ship. It can only be aquired as a faction asset with staff permission, and the possesion of this ship can be revoked by the staff at any time if the abilities of this ship are abused or overused.

If this is an AWACS cruiser, I would prefer it be just that. Having a lot of extraneous weapons and especially ground assault capability really doesn't make sense; something with so much sensor/comm capacity would be used to guide other ships, not be risked itself in frontline attack roles.

@AutoFox Walkers removed. I did move the fighter capacity up to twelve (equivalent to one squadron) for simplicity's sake.
