Nicholas Stauffenberg
Raised by a bounty hunter's guild on the Outer Rim, Stauffenberg was marinated in war at an early age, though not actually baptised in it until he turned fifteen. He spent his youth training in Teräs Käsi and other martial arts, and learning combat skills while providing tactical support for the guild's active members.
At age 15, he captured his first felon with his father. It was a twice bitter experience; the felon did not deserve her punishment, and in the effort to capture her, her father was slain by her jedi bodyguards. On the same day he claimed the bounty, Stauffenberg retired from the life as a bounty hunter and became a mercenary instead.
He wandered the galaxy for several years, spending time with the Mandalorian clans, and with various mercenary groups. For a while he served a contract with the Onderonian Royal Foreign Legion. It was after this contract ended, that he went on to form his own private military company, COBALT Enforcement
A common thread troughout Stauffenberg's life is his hate for force users, seeing them as responsible for his father's death, and his distrust for the Force. He also dislikes politics, which crushes any countries that fall in the cracks between the galactic superpowers. This all led to his forming COBALT as a counterweight.
His opinion on the Jedi change over time when he sees the destruction spread by the Exiles, and after spending some time as a prisoner of the Jedi Order after having his life saved by them.
