BIOGRAPHY
One of the very first of the terminator series constructed, 03 has already had quite a career in its relatively short lifespan. Its first days were spent in the labs with numbers one and two, engrossed in simple displays of targeting, mobility, and lethality. During this time, XT03 benefited from the attentions of a somewhat focused lab tech. One that devoted extra time to tuning its systems and processors. As such 03 often got to spend time wandering about the labs while its mechanical brethren slept in stasis, sometimes serving as the helping hand about the base, even if it only entailed reaching tall shelves. During this time it eventually earned a nickname even, Tres, and a new flashy coating after an accident resulted in several scorch marks. It also received the slightest boost in performance, which came in handy during training exercises when the unit almost off lined number 02.
This boost would serve it well later as well, when Tres was finally shipped off from the labs to Korriban for demonstrations. The ship it was traveling on was beset by pirates, who managed to board even. Tres went right to work, spearheading a counter assault that devastated the pirate forces and only sustained minor damage. The hero of the voyage, Tres was immediately patched up and even received several modifications, courtesy of the grateful crew. Its performance was caught on camera as well, which was happily presented to authorities on Korriban. Suitably impressed and convinced, they sent XT03 off to the battles right away, earmarking the droid as a special unit with special permissions. They figured with the droids combat experience shown so far, it would be best deployed strategically rather than as another rank and file unit. Now XT03 just has to prove them right.

PERSONALITY
As a Goliath unit, XT03 of course comes with the usual directives. It is programmed to protect Old Empire interests, eliminate enemy units, and obey orders. However, XT03 has already developed several quirks that are often common to longer lasting droids. The blame partly lies to its experiences its had, but also in a bit of tampering by some ambitious lab techs. It only responds to "Tres" for instance, the nickname somehow replacing its official designation in its databanks. It also has developed a slight sense of cowardice, for a droid at least, having already learned that its thick armor plating is sometimes insufficient.
With this slight cowardice, comes a greater tactical awareness of situations. Tres is often seen employing more advanced tactics than other Goliath units, such as additional weaponry, metal arm bludgeoning, and even retreat. It even has a somewhat childlike curiosity regarding new things, and Tres has developed a reputation for causing miniature disaster after fiddling with things. Tres is also relatively loud and outspoken for a Goliath droid, often posing constant confirmation questions about its surroundings to anyone and anything, in both binary and galactic basic. Its special permissions, granting it a farce of a higher rank, have also given it an almost superior demeanor towards others. Those that do not outrank it can be expected to be brushed off and/or providing constant maintenance. Despite this, Tres does its best live up to its core programming, attacking readily enough and employing a brutal merciless efficiency. It will fulfill its objectives happily enough, no matter what they may be.

APPEARANCE
In most aspects, Tres resembles a typical Goliath unit. Its only defining features are its dull silver chassis, and the faintest of scorch marks on its plating alongside some minor chips and scratches. It does however, unbeknownst to it, have TRES spray-painted on its back in black paint. It also has a built in harness at its right side that holds its extra possessions and pouch that conceals its grenades. Its synthetic voice is stuck on the extra loud setting somehow, and sounds almost feminine.
