Gaba. Marvel treats the movies in canon as if it were say their "What if..." series' or something like the Ultimate or Age of Apocalypse universes. Every bit of media has a designated alternate timeline so it's not like they are making Earth-616 the movie. This is its own reality and thus governs things won't be literal translations.

Probably why I cannot stand it. Not a fan of Ultimate Marvel Universe.

Never was an X-Men fan. So chances of me seeing this are slim. Though hard to believe it's better then X-Men 1, which I actualy liked as a super hero movie.

Again, that's a spoiler. FFS not everyone has seen the film yet, have some consideration.

I love the characters in X-Men comics but a lot of the stories and backgrounds are just overly shit and complicated. The movies have drawn observations to that fact, that's a good thing, I find most of their interpretations of the characters better than most comic book writers and artists.
