Writing my character into the Border Alliance..

No matter what backstory I come up with for my character, I can't seem to figure out how it'll tie in smoothly with his joining the Border Alliance in the outer rim.

Will there be a large battle to kick off the new TL? I'm thinking the only way for him to effectively enter the story is if he has his home threatened or taken away by the Sith. IDK.

Here's a thought for ya.

Make his home world in Sith Territory. Make the Ziost dudes slaughter his village. Make him flee to the BA worlds and enlist.

Like Boss, a refugee would make for kind of an interesting character- you're out of your element, away from home, fighting alongside people who have a common enemy bit also don't probably give much of a shit about your home.

Depends on what you're going for though.
