Ownership: Artello Kulfar uses this, but it is available to Everyone.

Intent: I created this as a unique option for a wrist-mounted weapon. I have yet to see anything like this on the tech boards, and I like the idea of adding a weapon that is used to get a tactical advantage rather than to just blow someone up.

Model: Wrist Mounted Foam Spray

Type: This is a Wrist Mounted Projectile.

Size: In need of fitting on someone’s wrist, it is quite small and compact. It is also lightweight, weighing only miniscule 1lb.

Composition: The Canister and spray mechanisms are a lightweight aluminum.

Range: Being so small, there is not a lot of pressure, meaning that it is limited to close, personal, combat range. 1 Meter with reasonable accuracy. At any more of a range, reasonable accuracy is extremely difficult to pull off and much of the spray will not target the visor of a helmet, which may result in only partial blinding.

Ammunition Capacity: It is limited to a single spray per canister. The spray is a short 1.5 second burst –enough to easily cover the visor of a helmet with a bit of spare.

Description:

With the growing usage of helmets into battle, a tactical device has been created in order to blind its victims. Much like how pepper spray is supposed to be used, it is applied to the area of vision in which the target’s vision will be obscured, giving a tactical advantage to the user.

To specifically target the visors of a helmet, the foam was designed to attach itself and make it difficult to remove the foam without it getting everywhere. Furthermore, it was specifically designed to smear (due to its sticky properties) upon the attempt to remove it, making it require meticulous attention to remove it.

In order to have a greater effect on unprotected victims, a caustic agent had been added to the foaming solution so that it would act much like pepper spray against individuals without a helmet. However, this has not been designed to permanently damage the eyesight of a victim provided they are able to tend to their wounds, although, it is just as painful as mace. However, the foaming can impair breathing if applied to the nostrils, although that is only as annoying as a stuffy sinus.

*Features:

When projected, the foaming agent is in a semi-liquid form. When it contacts whatever surface it hits, it begins to foam instantly and solidify into a very sticky substance that is described much like rubber or a melted marshmallow.

The foaming takes the duration of about 2 seconds after contact for it to expand about 3-4 times the size of the contacted area, effectively blinding a target. Once fully expanded, the foam has hardened to its “rubbery/melted marshmallow” state.

I think this is way more useful than most would think, like, imagine someone using this in the middle of a lightsaber-lock!

There are many non-combative uses too, you could use this to bypass security cameras, potentially put out fires, disrupt a bad case of small talk, temporarily seal armor in toxic or non-breathable atmospheres, or even make an unpleasant wake up call.

I'm considering making it an addition to my modified wrist-mounted lightsaber, but I think that might just be pushing too far into the realm of silliness.

I'm just imagining some high ranking character making some sort of epic speech when all of a sudden they slam their fist down on the podium for emphasis and out comes a spray of foam all over the place.

True, but I'd rather not attach anything to my right wrist in order to keep it as versatile as possible, mainly due to he fact that I wield my lightsaber with that hand.

"Oh.. oh boy, well this is so embarrassing. You're such a pretty audience.. and it's been a little while...I'm so sorry. Please don't tell your friends about this."

Does this have dual functionality as whipped cream for my coffee in the middle of a firefight?
Cause that's always a necessity.
