  • Xisok was born on the home world of his kind, raised in the vast tree cities of Cathar and brought up on the legends of his clan's greatest warriors. The culture that surrounded the young boy naturally drew him to the life of a hunter, and it was clear from the start that above all others in his litter, it was him that was most suited to walk that path. He always seemed to be more passionate, more daring and, undoubtedly, more gifted than his siblings. It didn't take long for those around him to notice that.

Xisok was 11 years old when he first properly experienced a Blood Hunt. Back then, he couldn't have honestly said that he understood the religious significance of the ritual; he'd never felt any need to purge himself of sin, like so many of his elders did. He only understood that a Blood Hunt brought honour to those that returned from it, and from the moment the young Cathar first struck a creature down for the ritual, he fell in love it. This integral part of his culture made Xisok feel like he truly belonged to this world in a way nothing else had managed to make him feel. All the praise he received from his kinsmen, all the admiration he recieved from his siblings, it all made him feel alive.

Always the type to ingulge in the things he loved, it wasn't long before the Cathar's life began to revolve around these rituals. By devoting himself to the hunts, Xisok devoted himself to his people's pride and honour, and to his sense of kinship. That was one of the few things of his past that stuck with him: his own feelings towards his race. And little was more important to that race than loyalty to one's mate; in Cathar society, partners were for life, and one would never even consider marrying again if their partner passed away. Certainly, when Xisok first laid eyes on who would later become his lover, he didn't even believe there might be another woman but her that he would consider marrying.

  • Xisok takes pride in embodying the more animalistic traits of his kind; even at a relatively young age, the Cathar is built like a predator, with a powerful and muscular frame well-suited for battle. He's tall - about as tall as the average Cathar can be - and strikes an immediately imposing image, not at all hindered by the fact that his pale-yellow fur is littered with all sorts of scars and wounds. If it were up to him, these would be on full display 100% of the time, and he certainly ensures that they're alway visible during combat.

To be frank, the young Cathar cares far too much about his appearance, to the point that he made himself a mask from the skin of an animal he killed, and has since then never been seen without it. The striking orange flesh covers the top half of Xisok's face, leaving only his wild yellow eyes visible. It's definitely feline, almost anybody would be able to recognize that, and though a lot of people might think this redundant, it's integral to Xisok's desire to express his own ferocity and power, as well as his pride in his own race.

Xisok's face, by contrast, is a bit more human than he'd like. Sharp features make up the majority of his visage, with a facial structure that only mildly resembles a tiger's.

The Cathar dresses in typical Sith robes, usually draped in all-black. He's hardly got a proper sense of fashion or class; usually, his robes are discarded rather quickly anyways.

  • Xisok is best defined as emotion without focus. At his core, the young Cathar is far more childlike than he'd ever admit, with all the bursts of spontaneous anger and malice that are to be expected from someone without a proper grasp on what the world is really like. Xisok is as wild as they come, and though he lacks any true motive, his sheer lack of restraint - coupled with the overwhelming raw emotion caged within him - is more than enough to drive him into action. He fights when he's angry, yells when he's annoyed, and kills whenever he feels like it. On the surface, Xisok seems to embody all the worst things about the Sith, and at times, it seems like he's nothing more than a brutish murderer. But there's a lot more to the Cathar than just anger.

In the past, Xisok was a big fish in a small pond. His physical abilities and natural talent were consistently praised, and there was nothing to stop that from getting to his head. Though he lacked the malice and rage of the Sith, confidence was always his defining trait. When his sensitivity to the Force was first discovered, however, his illusions of power were almost instantly shattered; suddenly, the Cathar was thrust into a world full of people far stronger than he could even imagine. Xisok was never able to come to terms with that, and his desire for power and recognition grew larger than ever before.

The Sith's confidence has since developed into a delusional arrogance, and has spawned a feeling of entitlement. Xisok puts incredible effort into his own growth, and in his mind, he is entirely deserving of attention. He can't understand what it is about other Sith that makes them so infamous, and tends to write it off as a matter of time: he simply hasn't had the time to make as big an impact as his peers.

It is for this very reason that the Cathar adores contests of power and skill. He relishes the opportunity to prove himself superior to another being, and he craves the approval of those above him, even if he doesn't yet know how desperately he needs it. Far from being self-aware, Xisok can't realize that his arrogance is just the mind's way of coping with the crushing lack of self-esteem that he feels beneath the skin.

The Sith's greatest weakness, however, is likely his lack of vision. Though he retains a very general desire for power and recognition, the young man has no endgame, no goals, and no true motive. It's for this very reason that he is still relatively unknown: he doesn't have the necessary drive to create ripples that are felt across the galaxy.

But that drive might just find him one day.
