'According to Dylan, “There’s a lot I don’t remember, but what happened in the attic I remember. I remember what I was wearing and what I wasn’t wearing.”'

These words, printed in the 2 October 2013 issue of Vanity Fair magazine reignited interest in the twenty year old child abuse case that rocked the world of Hollywood and the split that divides the town into either the Allen camp or the Farrow camp to this day. Doubtless you've seen something about Woody Allen and the allegations that he sexually assaulted 7 year-old Dylan Farrow by now; it's been trending for some time now. It seems like everyone and their grandmother has something to say about whether or not he did it, whether or not he deserves his awards, whether or not we can still enjoy his movies, the list goes on. Well, I've been sifting through articles, blog posts, tweets, you name it for days now and have come up with this. Your one-stop location for everything you need to know about what's being said about Woody Allen right now. I've included articles from both sides and each has something unique and important to say about the issue. Firstly, you should read the Vanity Fair article linked above as it provides the backdrop for all the drama that follows. Next, know that Allen was presented with the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award at the Golden Globes this year. The responses of Mia Farrow and her son, Ronan, are recorded here in this Time article:

From this point on, the media storm erupted and continues to rage as I write this. The most important thing to read next is this article published in The Daily Beast in response to the Farrows’ tweets:

It provides a lot of helpful information and provides an interesting perspective on the case. Finally, the most recent and heartbreaking development of all. Dylan Farrow describing the ordeal in her own words in an open letter in the New York Times:

There is no doubt that Dylan is the true victim of all of this because, whether or not Allen is guilty, the pain and suffering that she has had to live with is real. People seem to think that there’s only one answer to all of this; that someone has to be lying for the other to be telling the truth. That is not true. There is no doubt in my mind that Dylan is telling her truth, that she believes 100% the words that she wrote. Now, as has been noted by multiple individuals, there is no way of telling what went on in that attic all those years ago so Woody could be telling the truth or he could be lying. Even if he’s telling the truth, Dylan’s pain shouldn’t be discounted. She is a victim, either of the sexual advances of her mother’s boyfriend or of the media firestorm that surrounded her family and permeated her life even before the alleged event happened. No seven year-old should go through what Dylan went through. That’s the lesson we should be taking out of this mess.

This just in, Allen (unsurprisingly) denies the allegations:

What's most interesting is the response of the prosecutor from the original case.
