Not really. You can be with someone and give them a certain extent of trust. For instance, I trust my friends to keep me alive when they're driving their car, therefore I will ride in the passenger seat. I don't trust them to blindfold themselves and drive with me in their car.

Same goes for relationships. You can trust someone, but you don't have to trust 100%. It's just common sense if you don't want to get hurt.

I just see far to many couples that meet, have lovely chemical reactions that are involved with infatuation get caught up in the moment and then trust each other endlessly because of the chemical reaction in their head and not because of any actual actions the person in question has done to prove that they can be trusted to that extreme. Thus why I try and point out things.
