• What is going to happen in your plot?
  For years the Dalaigh family has languished on Kuat. A member of The Ten certainly, but not growing, not shrinking, their coffers acceptable and the place in the established hierarchy known. And yet, behind closed doors not all was perfect, and Saorise knew that all too well. Workers were ready to revolt, and the brokers were getting lazy. They needed a new hand at the helm, and that hand was Saorise's. Through intimidation, persuasion, and good old subterfuge, Saorise means to claim the top spot, and make the Houses assets available to her little fingers, and to those she might want to assist.
• What other players will be a part of this?

• Where are all the places (if more than one) that your plot will be taking place?
  Kuat
• Please provide a basic in-character timeline of what you expect to happen.
  Thread 1: Saorise meets with her brother Finnigan, out on the mesas of Kuat, convincing him not to challenge her claim to leadership.
  Thread 2: Saorise meets with her mother, and uses the fact that she already detests the family to get her on side for the transition of power to her.
  Thread 3: Saorise and her allies find the Houses top financial brokers to deny funds to her father, either through persuasion or intimidation.
  Thread 4: Saorise and an ally visit the criminal districts of Kuat to seek out a poison maker, gaining a vial of the chemical, as well as its cure.
  Thread 5: Family dinner. Saorise reveals her plan and forces her fathers hand to transfer authority to her. With the son denying any claim, her mother adding pressure, and his own financial security cut off, Saorise succeeds in taking control. If he still refuses, well, he'll need the cure to the poison she's dropped into his glass.
• What do you or your character hope to achieve with this plot? What is the "end-game"?
  For Saorise to take control of the House, providing a steady stream of finance for herself and allies, from which she might continue to build up a power base and expand influence and authority.
• Do you need any involvement of canon NPCs or faction leaders to be DMed by a staff member? If so, please detail who/what and for what purpose.
  No. Dm's would be great for the family members but I can look for some or work something out, or else grab a friend and dice the threads :)

Hey there, @Nightfall!

Reading the lore article you submitted, as well as the original site lore, I see no mention of Dalaigh being a member of the Ten, the most prestigious noble houses of Kuat. As such, I imagine this is more in line with taking over a minor noble house? If so, then it's perfectly reasonable.

But if we're talking about one of the Ten, then the plot here won't do. While level no longer equates title, five threads (or even one plot) is far too short when becoming one of the most influential members of Kuat, let alone the Imperial Republica. Could you please clarify?

Heya @Deviant! Yep I had written them up as one of the ten, but now are downscaled to just a minor house, call me over enthusiastic haha

So, they're a minor house then? Not a member of the Ten? Sounds good!

Plus, it makes a lot more sense to have your character climb into the position over the course of other plots. Growing assets, becoming a tangible and real force in the Imperial Republica, rather than a fancy title with truly nothing to your name.
