Why do people still believe in the lies of the Sith?
Hello!With the ongoing war between the Sith Empire, the New Republic and the Free Worlds Alliance, many try to understand what could have started this conflict. The justification that became common nowadays is that it started because of the existence of the Jedi. Then, we ask: Who came to this bright conclusion? The answer: the Sith Empire.
We are surprised that, knowing what the Sith are capable of, so many citizens of the Galaxy seem to be so eager to believe in their threatening transmission that accuse the Jedi Order of being the ones responsible for their gruesome actions. They came to the point of wanting the Jedi to disappear, so the Sith will seek peace.
However, we ask you at home to reflect if you believe that, if the Jedi were out of the picture, the Sith would really live in harmony with the rest of the Galaxy. Remember, this is the same group that the tirant Palpatine was part of. Some could say that he was only one Sith, like how there was some bad Jedi. The others would not be maniacal like him. We would like to remember you all that the Sith that came before the Emperor were also known for doing acts of cruelty.
This way, we came to believe that the Jedi’s presence is only an excuse by the Sith to justify their invasion and expansion, while at the same time undermining their greatest foes. Meanwhile, many will continue believing in their rhetoric. Some politicians will happily use it to blame the Order, because it’s an easy way to protect themselves of being accused as incompetent for doing nothing to stop these attacks. See how many planets of the FWA continue to act as if ignoring the problem it will disappear.
Others embraced the blaming of the Jedi to move their own agenda full of hatred. I wonder if Coruscant and Brentaal, both Core Founders and proud defenders of democracy, heard the appeal of those pro-Jedi groups that wanted a popular vote before the banning of the Order was announced.
All of that only shows that the Jedi Order is being the perfect scapegoat for everyone, and the Sith will happily exploit that. This way, Firrerres and Kashyyyks will be more and more common. With and without the Jedi.
