Who wants to crash a star-destroyer?!

So, I'm going to be making a thread shortly that involves people gathering and then pushing forward to do a couple of things:

1) Taking some AA Guns to shoot at the Star-Destroyer and any enemy fighters it may or may not have around it.

2) Taking a captured Imperial Shuttle and flying it up to the Imperial's docking bay, then jumping out and sending a pretty sizable strike team in to split up to two key points within the battleship; The Bridge and Engineering.

2.a) The Bridge team will head up and take control of the Bridge of course! They will also have a hacker/slicer with them to take control of the ship's turrets and security system to redirect the turrets to attack the bad guys and give them, as well as those in Engineering a way out back to the transport bay. They will also program the ship to start flying and eventually crashland into the grassy plains.

2.b) Engineering will fight their way to the engines and Engineering. There they will lockdown the engine systems to ensure nobody else from within the ship tries to do a system reset of the engines to prevent them from not violently crashing it into the grassy plains of Naboo. They also have the shortest route to travel and easier of the two jobs to perform.

3) Fighting to regroup at the shuttle transport bay and get the hell out of dodge when the ship is ready to start it's plummet from a point that can't be recovered from. Needless to say, there isn't much time on this one to mess around and it's gonna be get out or get burnt.


So, who wants to sign up to help Khivas and Rane take down an Imperial Star-Destroyer?

Depending on who you want I have three different types of forces users, one a healer (Jaleer), another a dark jedi (Jagen), the last one and my personal favorite a Matukai (Triton) basically the martial arts of force users, a small faction if any wants to join (hopefully I can do this shameless promotion) take your pick they are all padawan/acolyte level

Sounds interesting, just a couple of questions.

1. Did you ask for the ok from the Imperials like Dimitri (Weiss) if you can blow up one of his boats ?

2. How big of a team are you expecting seeing as a destroyer can carry between 10-17 thousand people and a large number of those are combat troops.

Me and Wit were planning to just sorta Leeroy Jenkin's into the Hangar Bay of the SD, and...I don't know yet, but we're definitely doing that part.

EDIT: Also the Grassy Plains already had a bit of the ship crash, so if the intent is to land it on top of other Imperials, you might uhhh wanna look elsewhere, but otherwise should be solid for more crashing :9:

Most of the people that would originally be on the ship is in Threed battling the rebels so it's just a skeleton crew but yes there are a lot of guys so we need a big group to take it

Well then I can wrap up my side of things at the spaceport thread with my bounty hunter and then have him join your group on this operation.

Going to be a large NPC Presence with us, and iirc I got the OK from an Admin in charge of the event, but if Weiss overwrites that, just let me know and I'll nip this in the bud.

As for group size, I was debating splitting this into two threads but decided against it. That said, 8 people sounds plenty enough player wise because anymore sounds way too crowded, but I haven't ran a mini event like this in awhile so I could fit a few more if needed XD

Also I could make this happen towards the end of the first day of battle/the battle period, if you want a character to join the end of this.

Actually the choice is yours, but heals is always harder to find in these raids so let's go with that XD

Definitely check with Weiss, but I basically pulled the Star Destroyer in question out of thin air for the purposes of this battle, so I don't foresee him saying no.

Well, I usually do when it comes to Lexi and Molok, yeah. They generally travel together and do stuff. Rarely do you get one without the other. lol

What I mean by thin air is that putting it there was my decision (as the battle/event coordinator) and wasn't done in consultation with the actual roster of available Imperial ships. Hence pulling it out of thin air.

If that's the case would it's death actually be an issue if it didn't exist in the first place?
