Sakadi moved through the open corridor just outside of the temple. Her movements lacked her usual grace, she was... worried. Afraid. Stressed out. Never had her own feelings been an obstacle for her. Her youth had been harsh, but not even once did her emotions get the better of her. But as of late, she had trouble meditating, sleeping and thinking in general.

She knew what the cause of her unrest was. The past two years, she had focused on training lightsaber techniques and mastering various fields of the Force. But never had she been forced to put her training to use. And the results had been disastrous. In an effort to scare off some thugs, she had revealed her Jedi status. Together with a fellow padawan, she ended up engaging the thugs in combat. She had dismembered some of them, but her fellow padawan had killed one of them. Killed. Of course, she wasn't the one who swung the saber, but it were her actions that lead to his death. Indirectly, she had taken a life. Three days later, it happened again. She initiated, her fellow padawan made a kill. And that just didn't feel right.

What she knew from the Jedi's philosophy, violence was a last resort. She believed that, when a Jedi had to ignite his or her saber, the Jedi had already lost. She understood that sometimes there was no other option, but did that justify taking a life? The task of a Jedi was to protect those who couldn't protect themselves, but she couldn't just trade one life for another, could she? The Order had learned her that all life was equal, so who was she to judge who lived and who died?

She feared it; the possibility that she, one day, had to kill a living being in order to save another. Everytime she had to rely on her lightsaber, that possibility could it happen. Now, she found herself at the point where she'd rather bury the cursed weapon, instead of wield it. But burying her lightsaber meant that she couldn't protect those around her. And what kind of Jedi couldn't protect innocent living beings?

As her ideals had crumbled, her feelings of fear and worry had gotten the better of her. So she had asked for help. She had asked for counseling from a knight, no less. She barely knew any masters or knights, only ever hearing names and seeing the faces of the order it's upper echelon. There was one knight she managed to approach however, a knight going by the name of Firen. And this open corridor, decorated with all kinds of plants, was where they would meet up. She was a little early though, so for now, she just decided to wait patiently for the knight to arrive.
