Here's a few new things about the site since you were last active (I think, apologies if not):

• We currently do not switch between timelines. SWRP now runs on a rolling timeline.
• There is a monthly SWRP Newsletter that will inform you of current events. You can go back through older ones if you're curious.
• SWRP now has a WIKI with a wealth of information, but it is still in its experimental phase so you might find some things missing or new pages introduced in the future.
• SWRP had a DRAMATIC upgrade in software. We went from Xenforo 1.3~ or something to Xenforo 2.0. This was a lot of work for the staff team. Every feature on the site either had to have a 2.0 version or I had to handwrite the feature myself (with some help from a friend). Some do not function exactly like the 1.3 versions. There are also some completely unique features on SWRP, so if you have any questions about them feel free to ask me or our Community Admin @The Good Doctor or Community Mod @Remileah.
• The Rules & Guidelines forum and Beginner's Guide to SWRP should also help guide you through some of the above points.

Thanks for the info! My activity started drifting off due to overload with work stressed really amping up coupled with being an admin and FL at the same time. Burn out got the better of me!

- Neat! So not just no time skips mid-timeline, but you don’t jump around in the setting at all? IIRC the site had 5 timelines when I joined and moved onto the sixth a good while before I left (around the time I became an admin).
- Cool, I will check that out :) Newsletters did exist in my time but I can’t recall if they were regularly scheduled or not.
- A wiki! Woo! I remember people wanting one at the time.
- Now, I DO remember a backend change from when I was onboard as staff, but I think that MAY have been the original change from the sites previous software to Xenforno. It all seems so long ago!

We do sometimes have small time skips, but the settings usually change only when the story itself is role played out, and there has been a LOT of change since we started the rolling timeline! I believe this approach has been a smashing success so far!

It certainly sounds like a fun concept! Is there any official ruling post or guidelines on the passage of time I could take a look at? Also, how would. I go about getting on the discord channel?

Time is still fluid here. There's skips and movement in time when it makes sense in the role play, and what makes sense is up to interpretation.
