Hello everyone!

I am in a bit of a bind, so I thought I would ask random people on the internet you guys to share similar experiences and advice! In short, I would like your opinions on the following:

Nor'baal is in a job he hates, and spends around 99% of his free time complaining about that job. However, he also lives with someone else (who enjoys their job) in a high rent area. Nor'baal requires his job to pay money and bills. Nor'baal does not know what to do?

Lemme know what you guys think :)

Do you have enough time to seek another, potentially more enjoyable job that pays enough money to sustain your current lifestyle. If so, my suggestion would be to keep your current job. Let the people who you find a job with know your start date will be two weeks after your hire date and then give a two week notice to your current job once you have another. This is the best way to do it if you're concerned with having positive job references as well as to ensure you can keep your current lifestyle.

I agree.

Search for something better while you're at your current job, then just give the two weeks if/when you get an offer from something that you'll hate less. Done it before, best decision I ever made.

Pfft. Real life and jobs are overrated. Clearly you should venture in the couch potatoes business. I hear it pays well.

I agree with Relent and Vinn. Start looking while you continue to work, in fact a lot of companies would rather steal you away from another outfit then take you off the street without a job. It shows a level of work ethic and that you're not a quitter but rather wise enough to know you want something different.

Least that's been my experience.

Sound advice on both fronts. I'm getting my CV together and starting to get a list up of companies with decent Graduate Schemes :)

Quit your day job. Conquer the world and bring back the British Empire.

Good plan. I've mustered the light fleet and will move on India tomorrow.

Ironically.
Also done. Hail to the Rodina.

Memes.

Ran out of potate.

My weekend is now dedicated to job hunting ;)

Sell your organs. I mean, what do you need two lungs for, anyway?

Did it, but it caught on. Everyone started selling their lungs, and supply exceed demand, causing the price to crash.

Now I have no lungs, and no money with which to purchase more lungs.
