What now? [Looking for advice]

So my main character, Tolt'orr, has suffered horrid injuries to explain his long absence from the goings on of the galaxy. Problem is, where do I go from there? He's lost and arm and his jaw, he's an ex-Sith mercenary, and his informal apprentice has likely moved on. Any suggestions? Personally I had the idea that the experience caused him to reconsider his whole life of suffering and seek redemption amongst the Jedi but I'd like other ideas.

Hmmm... I like the character a lot, although I feel like he doesn't really fit in that many places. I could see him going back to Sith, or heck, even joining the BA. It's hard to tell because you didn't really write out personality that much.

He doesn't have much of a personality. He's kinda lost his (Twi'lek equivalent of humanity) and really only feels pain and anger. He's negative, heartless, merciless, other adjectives for someone who doesn't care about anything. His revenge is fulfilled, and now he's left with the ramifications of the Dark Side. With the trap incident, I'm thinking it's caused him to evaluate his life for the first time and consider his actions and his future which leads him to search for redemption for his countless crimes.

I believe there's an indie faction called the Accord that are ex-criminals wanting to do good. That might fit him. Or if you want to be in a main faction, the BA might work.
