What Lightsaber style best fits Wookies?

Since my Bounty Hunter doesn't seem to be doing me too well in the way of RP, I thought I'd make myself a second character. I was thinking force user, and I figured, why not a Wookie? They're my favorite species in Starwars, and I think they'd make great Lightsaber combatants since they're so strong and fuzzy

But I can't decide on what kind of Lightsaber style he would use!

Any suggestions anyone?

The "Slice-The-Hell-Out-Of-The-Furless-Enemy" style. Very effective when utilized by strong characters, such as Wookiees.

Look up Djem So or Juyo, I would assume those to be best compliments of a wookiee's strength.

Also this thread better belongs in the RP Help section, for future reference ;)

My Sith Wookiee uses Djem So. Really either that or Juyo, since a wookiee isn't going to tire quickly or find strength-based attacks an obstacle.

What do you guys think about Jar'Kai or Sokan? I know they aren't canon, but relentless assault and use of the environment sounds very Wookie to me.

Jar'Kai, at this time, is the term used for duel wielding. Any form can use Jar'Kai. Sokan can be used by any form as well.

Well, Wookiees do tend to duel-wield Ryyk blades, so Jar'kai would likely be rather instinctive to a Wookiee, I'd assume, as much as I dislike the style.

V: Djem So I'd say. Though Form I: Shii-Cho may be good as well, as it is described in the hands of a skilled user as "Like water flowing over a water fall." since it is powerful and unpredictable.

EDIT: Sokan is described as a principle rather than a Form.

...Erythros. Combination of all the strong, power-oriented forms.

In the grand scheme of the RP it all really boils down to how well you write the attack/block. The combat form, imo, is simply flavor to the story/rp.

Also moved to RP Help Board.

Which is why I think it is important to study these forms as a writer and a player, truly in depth, before we ever can have a character that is skilled or masterful of a form or martial art.

I'm a fan of Makashi. But that's only because I actually used to swordfight, and it fits the rapier/main gauche style the best. Jar'kai is good, but it doesn't really fit the way I fight. To flashy with to many unnecessary movements.

...Erythros. Combination of all the strong, power-oriented forms.

Or just combine Erythos' general style with Form V or VII. It's a viable option since the three NJO Styles can be used alone or applied to a Form.

Jar'kai really isn't as good as it might sound. Power attacks with only one hand are just asking to be short-blocked.

I would also put in the option of Niman, Form VI.

A Wookiee performing Form III: Soresu would just be ridiculously tanky. You'd just lack offense. But I'd go with Jar'kai/Djem Sho.
