As always, the galaxy acted as the living beast that it was, constantly evolving to its developing circumstances. The latest turmoil, especially with what recently has taken place on Kashyyyk and other planets, was another testament to the dangers that anyone could face in these trying times. It inflamed the fears and desires that neutral systems had that they could be next and that they needed to prepare. Under these developments, the ISB had caught murmurings of a small swath of planets attempting to forge a sort of defensive accord, allowing them to remain pseudo independent and wave off any list of the growing threats on the future.

The four planets that led the charge was Ord Radama, Pho Ph'eah, Serenno, and Telos IV, each one with their own reasons to join into this partnership. Given the close proximity to the Empire and the ripe opportunity it presented itself, the ISB wanted to exploit that fear and bring them within the fold of the Empire. The severity of this potential threat or boon made them rely on their best weapons to do this, the Ciphers. The objective was simple and open to be done as they saw fit: Infiltrate, destabilize, and then either eliminate or persuade the participants of this eventual alliance.

Five found himself on Telos IV and in the tourism sector of the capital city, Thani, under one of his alias', Matthew Knight. He stood in an art gallery for those tourists, small and large groups filtering in and out of the open rooms to view the ornate sculptures and vibrant paintings. His green gaze was transfixed on the piece fixed on the wall in front of him, the painting staring back unafraid as he submerged himself into his thoughts. Blending in with the other patrons, he was dressed in a nice but casual outfit. His appearance was the definition of immaculate the way it perfectly fit his lean form and not a single crease found, his beard trimmed and hair tucked in by his ears, a byproduct of his methodical and obsessive habits.

Personally, he couldn't piece together the excitement that came from viewing art but he wasn't there for himself. One of the senators, specifically the Telos one, was also in the gallery and appreciating the pieces himself. The man was completely surrounded by guards but mattered little as all that was being done was a simple tailing, Five on the other side of the room. Everyone had their secrets and eventually, the ones the senator wanted hidden would be found and employed. As the senator moved onto another painting, the agent remained where he was, waiting for his partner to arrive.

This was a big job. If they could pull it off, it would score something big. They couldn’t make big, sweeping moves, not that it was ever the Cipher way to begin with. Today she was Matilda DuBois, or Mattie. Her cover was supposed to be studious and plain, so she opted for the librarian look which blended in with most people. In fact, Five likely wouldn’t even notice her milling about with the crowds at first.

He would know she was here, but she didn’t make her presence obvious. On jobs like these, with lots of people around, it was better to keep a distance. For now she would observe what Five did, the Senator unaware and walking over to a new section and moving towards going outside of the Cipher’s view.

The designated meeting time passed uneventfully but Five remained unphased. He knew the other Cipher was most likely in the vicinity of both him and the Senator, covering every angle they could. Either way, being a Cipher himself, he was supposed to be able to operate on his own. Without needing any confirmation, he continued following the plan and tracking the Senator.

Naturally flowing with the crowds, he moved to a new position in order to keep eyes on the man. Reaching a new painting, a flower pot with heads sticking out of it, he acquired a new angle of the Senator and saw him speaking to his guards in a hushed tone. The conversation only lasted a few minutes before one of the guards split off, heading to a completely different section of the building while the Senator pushed on the public tour.

Faced with an ultimatum, Five's instincts told him to follow the guard and he did just that, leaving the Senator to appreciate the upcoming pieces in peace. He saw the guard reach the other side of another room, specifically a double set of glass doors that he used a keycard to enter through.

Quickly thinking on his feet in order to not lose his mark, he swung his gaze around and eventually found a janitor cleaning a set of bathrooms. Seeing the opportunity presented, he made his way over to the cart that was left outside and quickly swiped the keychain that he left on top. Entering one of the freshly cleaned bathrooms, Five walked into one of the stalls before pulling out his EZ-phone, placing the keycard face down on the screen in order to be scanned. The ISB having jailbroken his phone, they installed a bunch of neat tricks onto it.

Once the scan was complete, he saw a perfect copy was replicated on his phone. Not wasting any time, he tossed the keychain onto the sink before exiting from the bathroom. If Six watched, she'd be able to scan the card for himself as he followed after the guard without her. If she didn't, then the janitor would return but confused how he misplaced his keyring.
