WEEQUAY WARRIOR'S ARMOR​

Considered crude by much of the more advanced civilizations across the galaxy, the armor of the Weequay is nonetheless protective despite its apparently barbaric construction. Consisting of materials taken from its wearer's hunts and crafted by hand, the Warrior's Armor is a mark of honor among the Weequay clans of the deserts, denoting the one who wears it as both a skilled fighter and leader among their people. Unfortunately, the rest of the galaxy views those who wear it as little more than thugs and scum, thanks to the undue number of Weequay in the ranks of the Hutt Cartel.​

Type and Coverage

Type: Medium Armor

Coverage: (Coverage regions for Light armor is 1-3 regions, Medium is 4-6, Heavy is 7-8)

• Torso: Weequay armor consists of a coat and leggings made of thick leather, covered with overlapping pieces of lightweight metal, akin to the scales of a dragonsnake. Pauldrons made of hardened hide protect the shoulders.
• Back: Weequay armor consists of a coat and leggings made of thick leather, covered with overlapping pieces of lightweight metal, akin to the scales of a dragonsnake. Pauldrons made of hardened hide protect the shoulders.
• Hands: Gauntlets of thick hide studded with metal protect the hands, stretching up over the wrist onto the forearm.
• Legs: Most versions of this armor have either an extended coat or separate scaled skirt, made in the same fashion as the torso pieces. This allows for similar protection to the upper thigh and groin, above the knees.
• Feet: The boots of Weequay armor are sturdy, and sport and attached shin guard that protects the front of the leg and wraps around slightly to protect the calf. However, these are not completely enclosed.

Due to the nature of its less-developed construction, Weequay armor does not have the capability of armor functions.
