DESCRIPTION​

WED Treadwells are versatile repair droids manufactured by Cybot Galactica. Though over a century old, the Treadwell design continues to be sold into the present day, and can be found in starships in deep space and humble moisture farms alike.

Treadwells are simple machines, essentially a tracked base with a central stalk topped with the droid's photoreceptor pod, surrounded by mounting points for up to 8 articulated arms, each tipped with a specific tool. These tool arms are interchangeable, and though the Treadwell comes stock with a number of tools, Cybot Galactica encourages buyers to customize their droids' capabilities to their liking.

Treadwells are slightly fragile machines, but are competent at most repairs, and are easily repaired themselves if and when they break down. Their simple design has made them a fixture of droid stables the Galaxy over.
