Manufacturer: Fontaine Arms and Design

Production Line: Arctras Armored weapons.

Model: M3 The Father Salamander Model

Technical Weapon Designation: M3 Immortal Flame trooper.

Affiliation: the Independent city of Periculum.

Availability: Not available for open sale, very limited production(less than 30 suits in existence). Custom models are available for personal production and usage, but in very limited and rare cases.

Modularity: It cannot be modified.

Composition: Composed of Durasteel interwoven with Cortosis for energy and heat resistance. Water also circulates around inside the suit to cool down the inside soldier in the hottest of areas. Also the fuel inside the tanks(see ammunition).

Ownership: Elite mercenaries employed by the Independant city of Periculum.

Description: The Father Salamander was originally intended to be a machine, however, Arctras believed that a sentient being could far better operate the Father Salamander from the inside than any AI intelligence. Even before the intention of it being a machine, Fontaine wanted to designate it as solely a weapon called 'The Salamander.' However, after a few tests it was shown that the soldier carrying the weapon was highly exposed. The flamethrower, to be as high powered as it is when burning at a maximum of 3,000 degrees Celcius, requires tanks of fuel that are easy targets for snipers and accidental blasterfire. It is theorized that a full tank explosion would be about the size as that of a small starfighter.

Thus, Arctras developed an entire bodysuit developed around protecting both the soldier and these tanks. Now, nothing short of an extremely powerful weapon or a lightsaber can burst through the fuel tanks. However, as a result of the extremely heavy and dense armor, the soldier moves at a ridiculously slow pace even though the suit it powered to assist the soldier in walking. A comment was made during tests that the soldier and the suit together looked 'like an angry father.' As such, it was dubbed 'The Father Salamander.' There are four spraying nozzles where the ignited liquid gas flows out, two on each outside of the fist armor.

The Weapon itself
Classification: Flamethrower
Size: Large
Length: The length from tank to nozzle if laid out straight end to end would be 2Meters
Weight: 25 Kilograms
Ammunition Capacity: Enough Liquid Lethane gas for a continuous(without pause or break) spray for fifteen minutes, or roughly fifty short bursts of flame before requiring refueling
Range: 80-100 meters,

Armor
Classification: Multipurpose
Weight: 70-75 Kilograms, fuel is very heavy and concentrated in the tanks, so loss of it effects the total weight of the armor.
Quality: Class-7
Other Feature(s): Heavy protection on the back around the fuel tanks.

pics or it didn't happen ;)

Hahaha, I've tried so FREAKING hard to find a pic of this, can't so far. Think of it looking like a Death Guard with two large nozzles on each fist along with dual massive fuel tanks on the back of the armor, heavily covered though.

The flamethrower, to be as high powered as it is when burning over 3,000 degrees Celcius, requires tanks of fuel that are easy targets for snipers and accidental blasterfire. It is theorized that a full tank exploding could take out a Coruscant block.

I'll let the burning temp slide if you keep it at 3,000, not over. However, the destructive potential being able to take out a city block (especially on the scale of Coruscant) isn't going over. That's far to excessive, especially for a single suit. I understand you have them protected, but that is grandiose potential we'd best leave behind.

Besides that tho, looks good.

Fix'd temp to say 'maximum of' rather than over. I was quite iffy about that since a WWII flamethrower hit about 1,000 or so degrees, so I'm glad you did say something about it.
Fix'd the tank explosion to equal that of a 'small starfighter.' I did overreach myself when I said Coruscant block, sorry about that.
