Boonta. Local time: 19:45
Boonta, a planet trapped between the larger northern Imperial territory and its southern enclave. A relatively arid world capable of housing life despite it's limited water, the planet was far from as densely populated as many other naturally habitable worlds. Many dangerous predators roamed the large savannas, but they didn't make much of a stir in the rest of the galaxy. What did make a stir was the pirates located on the planet. Not only had they been bold, or foolish enough to raid Imperial shipments between the two spheres of Imperial control, they had also started dabbling in what could only be described as slave trade.

The Jedi Padawan Vardon Galland found himself on the planet, he knew that there were pirates here, but he justified his presence on the remote planet by thinking that the force wanted him to come here. The light knew no bounds, and even something that only pestered Imperials had to be stopped if it meant that he could remove another harbour of darkness. Galland left his ship and his companions behind, neither wanting to loose the vessel to pirates nor his friends to the battle. What he did bring, however, was his small droid, Null. The machine was not well adapted to travel through the rougher terrain which the young man was making his way through on his way to the pirate base, so he carried it in his backpack which was barely large enough to contain the droid and a couple of water bottles.

Vardon didn't wear any armour, and simply kept his lightsaber and two vibroknives attached to his belt. Slightly concealed for an untrained eye as his rather large and puffy white shirt covered the weapons. "Perhaps I should get a speeder sometime, or what do you say?" he asked his droid after just having reached the top of a tree filled hill. The droid let out a series of confirmatory chiprs and birps as the Padawan put a hand right above his eyes to see better.

In the distance, he could see his goal - a large ship which the pirates used as their command centre, surrounded by multiple smaller vessels and many sheds and tents. It seemed almost as a small settlement. "Null, today, we shall extinguish the darkness in this place, I know it." he said with a quick glance back at his droid with a toothless smile.

Boonta. The planet was a bit of a contradiction to the Pureblood. On one end it's beautiful, with its rolling savannahs and grasslands. On the other end it's just another rock in space that either wants to kill you or make you suffer. The pirates that were calling this place home were either really brave or really stupid. Chances are it's most likely the latter.

The Hellion was landed and hidden from view far away from the pirate stronghold. Instead Hask decided to make good use of his 88-V Ranger speeder and set out on route to the pirates. He was clad in his heavy armour and both his lightsabers and pistols were clipped on his hip and hidden under his poncho that flapped in the wind as he drove. The storage compartment was filled with supplies that would last him days on end if he didn't manage to clear out the scum quickly enough. They were not a big group, but they were resourceful and were proving to be a potential thorn in the Exchange's side, so he decided to take care of them himself.

Hask blasted through the grasslands, enjoying the wind as it blew into the open slits and spots in his armour, cooling him down and making the journey much more enjoyable. At least his helmet was sheltering his face from the occasional bug or twig hitting him. When he finally got close he stopped his speeder behind a bunch of bushes and climbed onto a hill big enough to overlook the camp. The camp consisted on one massive ship and a series of tents and other temporary buildings that the pirates used for all kinds of purposes.

As he laid under a bush, scoping the situation out, he felt something was off. A disturbance in the force...in the middle of nowhere on this backwater planet. Something was definitely strange about that. He kept watching, until something caught his eye. In the distance on the other side of the camp, was a man in a white shirt of all things carrying a droid on his back.

He crawled out of his hiding place and silently made his way around the camp toward the man. If he was a pirate, Hask could use him for info. If he was just a traveller, he was going to get in big trouble going to the pirates. But as Hask approached the man's location, the disturbance grew stronger.

This stranger...is a Jedi.

He hanged back, about 20 metres or so from the man, and watched him. If he was indeed a Jedi, bringing his head and lightsabre in could definitely provide him with a lot of credits.

Even though he had already stopped, there still seemed to be some kind of darkness coming closer. Although this darkness was not the typical pure darkness he would feel from the normal heartless thug, nor was it the darkness he felt from the Sith he encountered before - this was something else, something more foggy. But light was needed everywhere, for without it, even fog could cause the mightiest of ships to hit a rock. The padawan had a concerned look appear on his face as he looked around for what it was that could be approaching. Standing on top of a hill gave him much better possibilities of spotting anyone coming his way, but the fact that he tried to stay hidden from the pirates' sight put some bushes in the way from letting him see everything. "Null, can you scan the area for me please? Just give me a heads-up if you see anything" he said while scanning the area himself.

After a while the mysterious presence started growing much more intense than it was before until the droid started peeping excitedly whilst trying to waddle inside the backpack. "Calm down, calm down buddy!" he said, calming the droid down after which it conveyed the message: It saw someone approaching about 30 meters away "Well, if they're coming to us, we'll soon be able to bring them to the light, won't we?" the young man spoke with confidence while putting his hands on his waist to wait for the stranger to approach. But soon, Vardon stopped feeling the evil presence coming closer. He waited for perhaps a minute before he decided to check the matter out himself.

Vardon decided to walk down the hill, just a few meters in order to put it between him and the pirate base. They were far away enough for the pirates not to hear anything from where he stood. He soon saw the darkly clad figure, heavily armoured just like the Sith he had fought before - no pirate to be sure, but something wasn't right. He quickly grew suspicious of the man, but it was not the way of the light to just attack someone he knew nothing about on sight. Raising his left arm from his waist to give the man a wave "Greetings!" he exclaimed while walking closer. When there was just 5 meter between them, the Thyferran spoke again "I see you're dressed for an adventure." The padawan had already judged the figure in front of him as a servant of the dark, but he maintained a formal tone whilst speaking to the man.

Hask was close enough to hear the droid scream and hear the man speak. Bring them to the light? That was definitely Jedi talk. He knew that his presence was know, so he decided to emerge from his cover, his mechanical left arm disappeared under his poncho as he gripped his lightsabre just in case the Jedi tried something. He stopped about 5 metres away from the stranger, not taking his eyes off him. They were far enough be able to speak properly to each other while not attracting the attention of the pirates, as long as they didn't send out patrols or anything.

"I'm certainly dressed for something, though I wouldn't call it an adventure." he spoke back in a casual tone. He looked the man over. He was big and most certainly in the same weight class as Hask. How strong he was in the force was a different matter entirely. "You know, getting a speeder will most certainly work a lot better than lugging that droid around on your back." Hask continued, giving a little laugh as he kept his eyes focused on the man, looking for any suspicious moves.

He might not be part of the Order anymore, but old habits die hard and there was no way in hell that he would just give this Jedi a free pass. "What brings someone like you the this backwards rock in space?"

Vardon smiled softly at the armoured figure's first comment. The man was correct, adventure would be a term appropriate for someone looking far more gentle than this person. His smile became a little more awkward as the mysterious stranger pointed out that a speeder would've been a good idea. Despite being an unclear yet dark fog, the person who spoke to him seemed reasonable - perhaps he would even be a valuable ally. But, that was not to be; the light needed to be spread and the padawan was going to be the tool to do so. He raised his right hand, scratching the back of his head "Yeah, you're right" he said, taking a pause as his right hand returned to his waist while the left one took off the backpack and put it on the ground next to him.

"But you aren't too heavy, are you?" he asked while looking down at the droid who gave a few happy chirps before its master walked to Hask's side, moving away from the droid while still keeping the distance of five meters between himself and the other person. "I am here to stop the operation behind that hill" he replied while pointing at the hill that was between them and the camp

"But I sense that I might have a truer purpose here today. You a dark, but I seem to sense a complexity to you. Say, why don't you confess to the light? It will see you through life well, just like it has seen me through" his words were filled with conviction as he took a step closer to the sith to make what he said more impactful whilst also closing the distance between them to four meters. At this point, Vardon was prepared for anything, ready to draw his lightsaber, dodge away at a moments notice or keep pushing his new made acquaintance towards the light verbally.

Hask stood patiently, observing as the Jedi spoke to him. He seemed like a kind person and killing him would probably not be the most pleasant thing to do. As the droid was placed down on the ground and beeping away happily, a smile was brought to Hask's face. Despite only being droids, those little astromech droids were rather nice to have around.

That smile disappeared when the man said that he was here to stop the pirates' operations. That would prove to be a problem. When the man asked Hask to come to the light, the pureblood threw his head back and laughed heartily before looking at the man once again. "You clearly don't know what I am. There's no such thing as 'the light' for me, as nice as that would be...besides, no way in hell am I abandoning all my hopes, ambitions and dreams to live a life hardly better than a droid. That I'll leave to you."

Hask unclipped his lightsabre and held it in his left hand. "As fun as it is to beat around the bush, I've got a job to do." he pointed to the direction of the base. "I have a lot of money riding on the heads of those pirates. Ignoring the fact that I can claim a handsome bounty for bringing you in, I'm not gonna let some jedi interfere with my business and steal my paycheque." Hask's voice grew more stern as he spoke. As he finished he ignited his lightsabre. The crimson blade and crossguards emerged with a deep hum.

"Back. Off. That's the only warning you'll get from me." Hask said coldly as he took a forward stance and held his lightsabre in front of him with both hands.

Disappointed would be an overstatement for how the padawan felt as his foe refused the light side. It was as expected - he didn't have much hope that the character in front of him could be redeemed by any peaceful means to begin with. Sure, a glimmer of hope was seen as the man seemed to have some kind of longing for the light, but of course, it was just part of his wordplay. The Sith had been waiting for Vardan to finish his sentence, and he made sure to return the courtesy while drawing his lightsaber with his right arm the moment after the pureblood drew his weapon. The young man also made sure to ignite his bright blue weapon when the crimson blade appeared. The swords quickly hummed to life in unison, spawning a violent hum along with colouring their respective users in their own colors - the fact that dusk had begun to set over the planet only amplified the effect.

"I am afraid your paycheck will have to wait until another day. For today, I will bring you to the light!" he exclaimed with a relatively calm yet dominant tone. While seeming quite collected and in-control on the outside, Galland's mind was in turmoil on the inside. The words of his former opponent echoed through his mind "Little Jedi" which caused a great deal of doubt in his mind as he thought back to how easily the last Sith managed to overpower him towards the end. The padawan took a deep breath as the two stared at each other until he finally steeled his nerves and whispered "The light shall see me through" under his breath before advancing one step with his right leg and directing a stab towards his abdomen, a few decimeters below where Hask held his saber. The strike would barely reach the Sith as the padawan leaned forward with an outstretched arm, prepared to retreat back quickly.

Hask stood rock solid, watching as the man's lightsabre ignited, casting its bright blue light alongside Hask's own crimson light. Coupled with the dusk setting in it must have looked like quite the sight from the side, but in this moment he didn't have time to admire the view. The Jedi continued with his preaching, bringing a light chuckle out of the Pureblood. "You've got persistence, friend. I'll give you that. An admirable trait." Hask said as he drew the force around him.

The man stretched forward and attempted to jab at the Pureblood. Hask stood fast, merely moving his blade to the left slightly and dropping the blade's angle. When the man's blade got close to his gut, Hask flicked his blade to the right and twisted his wrist, trapping his opponent's blade by the tip between his own blade and crossguard and stopping it dead in its tracks.

With the blade trapped, Hask pushed his right hand out and released a force push. If it struck home it would cause the man to fly back several feet at least and maybe even lose grip on his lightsabre if he didn't manage to break off in time, although given the circumstances it was a little doubtful that he would be able to. It would take a little out of his reserves but he would still have ample power for more tricks.

The lunge felt good until the very last moment. Vardon looked up from the Sith's abdominal area to his mask like a kid caught stealing from the cookie jar as he noted how his blade was stuck in the blade-lock. Instinctively, the padawan reached out with his free hand, prepared to throw a boulder at the Sith but his foe seemed to be better prepared as a powerfull force push was sent on him. The two men were of a comparable weight class, although some of the young human's weight could simply be contributed to his height. He did however have quite the advantage since the Sith's mechanical arm with which he was holding the saber didn't have the same strength as his original one. With this, Galland simply held onto his own blade, confident that the Sith would either loose his grip first or have his prosthetic break.

Eventually, Vardon would be pushed back as the locked situation was resolved. If the Sith lost grip over his weapon or if his arm detached, the Thyferran would pull the crossguardsaber to himself to gain a second blade. In any case, he eased the landing with the force and landed in a kneeled position gliding backwards a couple of feet before being able to rise and rush forth. He would hold his blade, or blades, defensively in front of him as he jogged towards his foe, prepared to both evade and deflect any incomming attacks. The boulder he was thinking about earlier finally became reality as he tossed one, about as large as a head, towards his opponents chest with the force.

Hask cursed himself as he felt his grip slipping on his lightsabre. Getting a better arm seemed like a much better idea now than it did 5 minutes ago. He released his opponent's blade and allowed him to fly back and land on his knee a few metres back. He charged forward once again and flung a rock at the Pureblood. If he were still on the same level of power as an acolyte, he would have struggled against the stone. But he's come a long way and a simple stone like that was something he could easily avoid.

He flicked his right wrist, flinging the rock out of the way and causing it to harmlessly fly off into the bushes. His opponent was still coming, though and Hask had to think fast. With his right hand still raised after flicking the stone away, he formed and released a blinding flash of light directed straight at the charging foe. Since Hask had a helmet and was prepared for it, he had time to close his eyes as the blinding white light erupted in a split second right in his opponent's unshielded eyes. The Force Flash, as powerful and blindingly bright as it is, is an easy ability and would take little exertion of the force to perform.

If his opponent, however extremely unlikely, managed to shelter his eyes before getting blinded, Hask would cast a stream of fire at him, draining his reserves somewhat but blanketing his enemy in the blaze. If he was indeed blinded, Hask would charge forth and collide with his opponent, their blades crossed and their faces inches away from each other. He would use this momentum and locked position to pivot his hilt and drive his crossguard into his unsuspecting enemy's side as they collide, while being completely safe from his foe's own blade.

Suddenly, everything went white and Vardon quickly stopped, much thanks to his jogging instead of running, and held his blade in front of him as he heard Null give out a number of error messages in bewildered beeps and boops. "Null!" he screamed in a voice filled with concern for his little friend, but it soon became quite apparent that he needed to be more concerned for himself as the Sith's blade clash against his own. The padawan did not want to fight someone while he couldn't see anything and after a short moment's resistance to his foes push, he started moving backwards which made the crossguard move impossible as it relied on him being stationary long enough for the crossguard to be pivoted to his body.

"It seems like you might belong to the light after all" he said right as he started using the force to push the Sith to his own right, away from null and in a position which would make the Sith land on his arm if he fell. The padawan directed his lightsaber towards the direction he threw the Sith but didn't turn his body as he now faced his opponent from the side, just as he liked. It wouldn't take long for him to regain his sight and be able to continue the fight right now. He crouched slightly to so that his moves with his legs could be more explosive if he needed to avoid something and with that, he spoke again "Even I am envious of how efficiently you spread the light there. Although my little friend might not have been too happy about it." his voice was dead serious, but he did smirk subconsciously

The Jedi fell back as Hask pushed against him, managing to avoid getting impaled by the Sith's crossguard. He attempted to use the force, but Hask used his own superior power over the force to resist it enough to only stumble a bit. As his opponent was still blind and attempting to regain his footing, Hask reached out with the force and wrapped around his opponent's neck using his right hand, closing off his air passage and making breathing impossible for the Jedi. By the time his opponent's sight came back and he regained his footing, he would already be struggling to get any air into his lungs as Hask force-choked him. It would drain his reserves somewhat to close off the man's throat but it was well within his abilities over the inexperienced Jedi.

Hask would hold his lightsabre up to block any attempts by the Jedi to break the Sith's grip over his throat and weakened the jedi.

Galland didn't even manage to start saying the last sentence before he could feel en ever tightening grip closing off his trachea which made him repeatedly gasp for air. Null valiantly started charging towards the Sith, seemingly wanting to ram the heavily armoured being but the padawan put an end to the naive idea by holding his palm up against the droid, signaling for it to stop.

Fortunately, the Sith didn't raise him above the ground or otherwise immobilize him which allowed the padawan to take a small step forward and direct a stab at the Pureblood, just to occupy his blade. Following his plan, Vardon used the force to fling a foot-sized boulder at Hask's left arm in hopes that it would disrupt his defenses enough so that he would be able to hit the opponent with the lightsaber thrust - the immediate danger of being stuck by a lightsaber could also work to interrupt the choke. It wouldn't be a very well aimed thrust however, as the padawan would gasp violently for air upon being released.

If the Sith managed to defend himself against the thrust, a weakened Vardon would swing his lightsaber around for a strike against his foe's swordhand, believing that there was an opportunity to go on a tired offense while the Pureblood was recovering. The attack wouldn't require much more than a slight movement with the forearm and a more heavy move with the wrist making it rather fast despite being executed from some range.

In the background, Null started beeping about detecting more people on the way to their location. But the young man, however, did not reply nor did he react as his main focus now was on the fight with the Sith.

Hask held onto the Jedi's throat, intent on making him pass out. He tried to step forward and stab at Hask, but with a quick jump backwards the Pureblood was once again safely out of range of the Jedi's blade, not even needing to use his own blade to block or anything. When a big rock came flying towards him in an attempt to interrupt him, the grip on the Jedi's throat slipped a bit as Hask sliced the rock in half, but it was quickly recovered and the Jedi was once again being choked completely.

As that was happening, Hask kept moving back until there was easily a 3 metre gap between them. By this time the Jedi would be significantly weakened by the lack of oxygen and would run the risk of passing out something didn't interrupt the Sith's grip.

The man's droid was freaking out, and Hask would have ignored it, had he not hear the droid go on about multiple people approaching. Multiple targets getting the drop on them sounded much worse than a Jedi clinging to consciousness in his mind. He released the Jedi and turned his attention onto the approaching people, leaving the Jedi to recover. If the pirates were coming, they were in trouble. Holding onto the Jedi's throat like that drained Hask's reserves significantly. Calling on the force to aid him would be quite a stretch.

Darkness was starting to shroud the edges of the padawan's vision as he slowly ran out of air. Could this truly be where his light would die out?

Galland had already lost hope on being able to do much against the Sith who had now backed away after being able to easily resume the choke hold after giving the Thyferran a brief moment of respite. He tried to take a step towards the Sith but was to weak to even do that. He fell against the ground, standing on his hand and knees in front of the Pureblood as his lightsaber was extinguished. But right when he thought that he would finally passed out, Hask let go of his hold. Vardon breathed violently as he greedily sucked in all the oxygen his lounges would allow.

The padawan looked up at the Sith without rising to his feet after having a few short moments to recover. He was still to weak to do anything of significance "You spared me" he said between breaths. "The light works in mysterious ways it seems" he continued when feeling a little stronger. Still, he was at the Sith's mercy and had no intentions on provoking him by standing up and igniting his saber again. He did however rise to sit upright on his folded legs, just like a captive prepared to be executed. The young man soon regained his good posture as he looked up at the victor. "So, what now?" he asked, still not comprehending why he was spared as the Pureblood turned his head - which Vardon happened to interpret as dramatic flare rather than an attentive look for danger.

Hask had moved back a bit, focusing on the direction which the droid reported while also keeping the Jedi within his sights. To make up for his depleted reserves Hask pulled a pistol and held it at the ready alongside his lightsabre. Somehow the Jedi was still blissfully unaware of the situation. "What are you on about? Get on your feet dammit! People are approaching our location." Hask spoke coldly to the man, still keeping him in his sights.

Hask could sense the pirates approaching. It wasn't a big group but it would still prove problematic for the situation they're in now. "We can get back to killing each other later, get up!" Hask hissed once again. He could see the silhouettes of people against the sky on top of the hill. He took aim with his pistol and got ready to fire as soon as someone peaked over the hill.

The padawan soon started to regain his wits and mumbled "Right" as the Sith reiterated their dire situation. People were approaching, by all accounts pirates as the Sith seemed to think that they came from the direction of the base. Initially, the thought of it being his friends crossed the padawan's mind, but that scenario seemed highly unlikely. The Sith kept speaking but this seemed more like frustrated hisses than directed threats. Vardon was no fool - the Sith had beaten him but was willing to cooperate against the pirates. Working along with the agent of darkness was his best chance at surviving.

The Thyferran gripped his saber hard and rose to his feet. He was seeing the same silhouettes as his new ally. He stared at the Sith for a while - if the other wanted him dead before the fight against the pirates, he'd be dead already. After a few seconds of doubt, Vardon turned towards the hill, leaving his right backside exposed to the Pureblood as he slowly moved towards the top of the hill in a crouched position while drawing one of his vibrodaggers with his left hand.

Towards them came a scouting party consisting of five members. One was leading them with two following right behind her to the sides. The other two were trailing behind, staying perhaps 4-5 meters behind the main group. The all carried rifles and could be perceived as a little jumpy "Just keep your heads cool boys, a flashing light could be anything, and it was just Leraunt who heard the sounds, right?" the leader spoke with the confidence of a bantha on ice-skaters as they made their way up the hill. Right after the leaders head could be seen, her first two companions could be seen too.

The two force users weren't very well hidden as the Sith still had his lightsaber ignited while the padawan was dressed in a bright white colour. Unlike the pirates, Vardon was prepared for what was coming from the other side of the hill. Being pretty close to the top, he threw his knife at one of the leaders followers which took him out quickly. Right after, the Thyferran ignited his blue blade to defend himself against any potential blaster bolts coming his way.

Upon seeing Hask, the leader would focus on him while her other close follower would focus on Vardon. The other two would start running towards the party as they saw their ally die.

Hask watched as the Jedi made his way up the hill in an attempt to surprise the enemy. Squeezing off a round would be so easy. With the pull of a trigger the Jedi would be shot in the back and killed...but what glory is there in such a cowardly kill? He'd leave that to the Mandalorians or to the Jedi themselves, but not him. If he were to kill the Jedi, it would be face to face with a lightsabre in his hand.

But right now they had more pressing matters.

The Jedi hurled his throwing knife at one of the men behind the leader. Immediately she located Hask as the other close follower engaged the Jedi. Not wanting to waste time and play around in his tired state, he fired three times. The shots rang through the air and the bolts tore through her gut and chest. As she fell to the ground and rolled down the hill, two others emerged as well. Hask fired two more times but the one on the right managed to dodge the shots and return fire. Hask blocked the shots and sent them soaring into the air.

As he was focused on the one, the other fired a round which collided with his chest. The pain of the heat bleeding through was excruciating and the shot caused him to recoil a little. In a fit of rage, Hask fired at the one that shot him, putting 2 holes in his chest and 1 in the head.

That left the Jedi to compete with the two that were left. He had to work quickly, though, since the sound of blaster fire and the sight of shots flying through the air would definitely attract more of them. They had to move quickly before more show up.

While the Sith took care of the leader, Vardon didn't get a knife out in time to throw at his assailant who managed to fire off three shots, all heading for the padawan's torso. It was quite fortunate that the rushed scout had a greater focus on shooting than aiming since Vardon managed to deflect two bolts easily enough as they created a straight line. The third bolt, however, missed the young man, almost. Instead of hitting his body, the bolt punched a hole through his fluffy shirt while only scratching the Vardon. Still, getting scratched by a laser bolt still hurt unreasonably much which became rather apparent as he winced from the pain on his left side. What he hadn't noticed was that the thin material composing his shirt had begun smoldering and would start burning unless prevented.

The padawan caught a glimpse of how his shirt was smoldering but the rifle totting pirates seemed to be the bigger concern. With his relative vicinity to the top of the hill's back and thereby the shooter, Vardon simply ran up to him, deflected another bolt and then proceeded to cut the man across the chest with his lightsaber.

The battle raged on as his ally seemed to have been able to keep the two reinforcing scouts at bay. He started moving towards the right one which Hask missed and just as he though, the pirate turned his attention to the approaching padawan. A brightly shining blue blade was rather hard to miss, after all, even when coming from the side. Naturally, fire was opened upon Galland, but for this, he was prepared and managed to reflect the first bolt back to his target while he has to deflect the other two. The shot which he detected hit the gunner's lower shoulder, which incapacitated him without actually killing him.

The heat around where he had been shot became more and more unbearable until the padawan looked down to see some small flames on his clothes around the hole which the bolt made. His natural instinct was to clap at the fire, but his wound was still hurting enough to make that seem like a very bad idea. Instead, he took the shirt off and stamped on it a few times before taking it on again - it was now very much dirtier after having been lying on the ground, stamped on, shot through and burned. There was also a notable hole by the shirts left-hand side.

After having viewed the distance towards the ship, Vardon turned back to his temporary ally "I think we've been spotted, they're coming en masse! I propose prolonging our truce until we've dealt with the pirates. I'm sure Null would love to get to know you a little better too" he said with a stressed tone, accidentally letting a little humour slip in at the end. They needed to start moving quick if they wanted to stand a chance at escaping with all their limbs still attached.

As Hask finished off his last opponent, the Jedi finished off his last as well and stomped the fire out that was starting up on his shirt...the exact reason as to why Hask would never wear a normal shirt in a combat situation. The body glove under his armour worked just fine. Hask ran up to the hill and looked slightly over to see a massive group of pirates coming for them. They were not prepared for this.

The Jedi mentioned prolonging their truce. It seemed that was indeed the word for it. The Jedi wasn't his prisoner at the moment but neither were they allies. As interesting as the thought was, they had more pressing matters. Hask raised his pistol and held it right in the Jedi's face. "You stab me in the back or cross me and I'll tear you apart." he said harshly and coldly before holstering the gun and moving down the hill. "Come on, I got a med-pack in my speeder. Double time it, Jedi." He spoke over his shoulder as he moved into the tall grass and led the way to his speeder on the other side of the base and safely away from the pirate horde.
