Warriors of the Kamash Tribe

The Kamashi favor light to medium armor. Their metalsmithing rivals any other tribe on the planet, and wile still primitive and crude in comparison to more modern armors their chest plates, shoulder, and shin guards are capable of deflecting one two two hits from a blaster. The vambraces which protect their forearms are weaker, made out of tough animal hide. They compensate for this by using teardrop shaped shields, typically with two serpents engraved upon them. The shields are also light, only able to deflect two to three blasts of energy before becoming compromised. However, they double as a weapon. The shield's teardrop shape allows it to be used in an upward jab, directed at the opponent's face, neck, or jaw. This maneuver, when roughly translated from their native tongue, means something akin to "cobra strike".

The Kamashi warrior's typical weapon is a scythe-like khopesh sword. A weapon which has served them well against less armored tribes before the Empire's arrival. It is excellent at severing flesh but poor against tougher armors. Because of this, the Kamashi have developed a unique style of fighting to combat the imperials, often swiping at their knees and other chinks in their armor. Kamashi warriors are known for their fast strikes and often try to keep the enemy on the defensive by using shield bashes followed by uppercuts into their opponent's unprotected underarms.

In addition to their traditional weaponry, the Kamash have also been able to obtain Imperial blasters through raids along with many other forms of technology which had previously been unavailable to them.

Xanthier is no marksman, in fact, he has very little knowledge or expertise with blasters. However, he was familiar enough with the weapons to teach the tribe how to properly shoot them. * With some practice they became proficient over the course of a couple months. Their aim isn't the best but in the close quarters of the city it shouldn't be a huge problem.

Heavy MG mounts were also acquired during several raids and have been placed at several positions throughout the city. Bringing a transport ship down with one of them is not efficient, but it can be done.


At the moment I'm looking into the various heavy machine guns that we have on the site as well as anything else that might make sense/make the RP fun.



*Much to his dismay some were far better shots and he eventually decided to let the best in the group finish what he started. Who needs to go pew pew when you can go wosh wosh with a lightsaber instead. ​
