War with DSEG

Battles and wars tend to boost activity and part of our idea to revitalize is by absorbing other Indies. One indie I doubt that will merge with us is DSEG. I think we should try to pressure them soon, in order to spark conflict between our two factions, with an eventual invasion.

I actually really like this idea, it'll give both our factions a kick in the rear. Also, as a side note, the Brotherhood is one indie faction that, although small, won't join the Chiss simply on principal. They're actually planning on fully allying with the GA, so, once the Chiss discover them, we could declare war on them as well.
Just a thought.

Find out their allegiance for sure before lookin at them as an enemy. From what I understood they were extremely neutral. I agree it may serve as an enemy for Chiss but definitely check them out before going through with this. Ask Jiang.

True. We{ll want to talk with them first. Though knowing Jiang, I suspect he won{t ally with the Chiss. Granted, that{s not to say it{s not possible, just my own personal opinion.

Yeah, I definitely want to focus on whether or not DSEG will be willing to consider an alliance with us, and if they'd agree t a mutual neutrality with the Sith. Unless they'd be willing to fully join our side, I think it'd be perfectly reasonable to ask they remain uninvolved with the GA entirely.

However, if it turns out that the faction isn't remotely interested in establishing connections, then I think it could make a suitable target for the Ascendancy to keep in sight. I'd like to have the Indi movement start with DSEG, headed by Weiss's heliel and CAIN. Weiss, would you be able to set up a discussion with Jiang over MSN for a sort of meeting? Or see about getting a thread going, and talking it out ICly.
