employ explosives and is expected to be en-route to his home-world
of Rodia to seek asylum there.

Ito Kai double-checked his loaned datapad, reading over the information about his target one last time. then, he went over all of the information he'd been able to find about where Tik Tik could've gone. Thanks to this info, Ito was able to track Tik Tik to the planet Duro. While not too far from Corellia, it was far away enough to get a ride to Rodia with no questions asked. Also based on this information, Ito was able to track the Rodian to a small plaza near a shipyard, and he was now waiting for the right opportunity to advance on his target. The plaza was filled with Duros and smaller quantities of other spacefaring species, occupying shops filled with items from all across the surrounding galaxy.

Tik Tik glanced around nervously. "What do you mean, you can't go to Rodia?" The alien he was speaking to let out a stream of noises, and he sighed. He had to get off this rock, before he was found. He glanced around again, fingering a thermal detonator inside of his coat. He walked up to another pilot. He flipped out a pack of deathsticks, offering them to the man. "This pack of deathsticks for one trip to Rodia. One way." he said. The pilot nodded. "I leave in ten minutes." Tik Tik nodded. Thank god.

Ito searched the plaza, going from pilot to pilot asking if they'd seen a Rodian asking for a ride, explaining that the Rodian was his "traveling companion". After no success, Ito noticed a nervous looking Rodian, then waited a moment to see what he did. After he'd surreptitiously handed the pilot some small pack, Ito decided to get up and approach the Rodian. "Um, excuse me, but I need your help. Can you come with me? I promise it won't take long." Ito hoped that the covering over his eye sockets would make him appear blind, so he could distract the alien long enough to figure out if it was Tik Tik or not.

Tik Tik saw the strange man approaching. When he asked for a moment, he shrugged him off. "Sorry kid, I have a flight to catch.". He saw a group off security guards enter the area. "On second thought, sure. What do you need?" he asked, following the man. He was hoping to look inconspicuous in front of the guards. He checked his watch. Nine minutes

"What do you need?"
"Thank you, now if you'll follow me," Ito said as he led the Rodian away to a corner of the plaza, "I need you to move these two crates for me. Somewhere nobody will see them." Ito moved his head slowly back and forth a couple of times, as if trying to see something that he couldn't. "Now if I still had my eyes, this would be a lot easier, but I'm pretty sure there's an alley leading away from here. If you could take them there, that'd be great."

"You move around crowds pretty well for a blind man." he said, slowly reaching back to his rifle. He had a bad feeling. "What's in the crates?" he asked, slowly stepping back. A lone alley, a mysterious blind man. It was too odd for his tastes."How'd you lose your eyes?" he asked, curiously. Seven fifteen

"How'd you lose your eyes?"
"Remember a little while ago, when Senator Krass held a press conference on Corellia? I was in the crowd, close to where someone released a grenade of some kind that brought out a blinding flash and deafening noise." Ito stated, hoping the bluff would work. He could tell the Rodian was getting anxious, so he wanted to make it quick. "You wouldn't know what kind of grenade that was, would you? Oh, and inside the crates? My belongings. I'm moving from the last alley over, I got kicked out by the shop owner who apparently owned the place."

He nodded. "It sounds like a flash grenade." He stopped for a moment, realizing the trap. "But those wouldn't cause permanent damage." he jumped back, unshouldering his rifle. He raised it, aiming at the strange man. "Who the hell are you?" he asked. He began stepping back slowly, his supporting hand drifting inside his coat for a thermal detonator. He wouldn't be captured. Not now. Six Thirty

Ito smirked, "I guess you saw right through me. My name's Ito Kai!" He reached out with his right hand, one of the crates opening and his vibrosword flying into his hand. Ito entered his combat stance, then swung his sword towards the Rodian's blaster rifle, aiming to cut it in half.

 

[Carthage]

Tik Tik dived backwards, narrowly avoiding the man. "You bastard!" he shouted. He pulled out the thermal detonator, activating it and dropping it right below his feet. He turned and ran, sprinting out of the alley. He looked at the pilot. "Take off now! There's a terrorist over there! He's using grenades!" he shouted. The pilot only raised an eyebrow. "Uh huh, sure." Six minutes

Ito noticed the grenade roll underneath him, then he kicked it into the empty alley. Midway through the air, it exploded, attracting the attention of the security that had entered a few minutes before, as well as all the people in the plaza. While Tik Tik ran, Ito followed, when he saw Tik Tik fleeing to who Ito thought was the pilot. Ito then grabbed one of his "Supernova" grenades and pulled the pin, tossing it at the two and immediately covering his ears.

Tik Tik swore. That was a very noisy grenade. He ran up the ramp to the ship. "I told you!" he shouted, just before the Supernova went off, lights, sounds, and all. Luckily, he was expecting it, and all he had to to was finish getting up the ramp. That wasn't to say he wasn't affected, it just didn't severely cripple him. The pilot, however, was completely out of it. He wouldn't be flying. He'd have to steal the ship if he wanted to escape. He slipped out another detonator, tossing it out the ship. With all the lights and sounds going off, it would be nearly impossible to see the tiny ball headed for Ito.

Not thinking about what to do with the bright light, Ito was stuck momentarily, unable to see. However, he'd covered his ears, and as such could hear someone running up the ramp of the ship. Reaching out into the force with his senses, Ito grabbed his other Supernova grenade, then tossed it inside the ship. After hearing it clank inside, he started to regain his sight. Once he'd confirmed it was inside, he then noticed another of Tik Tik's grenades roll to a stop at his feet. Too late, all Ito could do was turn 90 degrees, before being blown into a tall stack of crates. After yet another explosion, the security that had entered the area earlier arrived, some of them helping Ito, others assisting everyone else caught in the explosion.

Tik Tik turned to run into the ship, but too late. Another Supernova grenade rolled in, and in the closed quarters of the ship, the sound was crippling. He fell to his knees with a cry, holding his hands to his ears. This went on for several seconds before the grenade stopped, and law enforcement boarded the ship immediately, taking him captive.

Meanwhile, the captain of the team knelt beside Ito. "Good job, hunter. We'll make sure you get your pay. We have him now, and you can expect your credits by the end of the week."

Ito smiled. "Thanks. If you need anything I'll be in touch." Assisted by another member of the team, Ito stood, barely. The thermal detonator from earlier would definitely leave a scar, most likely on his right arm or leg. They helped him to one of the medics they'd called in for cleanup, and he was treated for a while before given the go ahead to head home with his friend.
