Waiting for a rescue

[Tarranium]

Ophenia is an blind human girl who is sitting in an waiting room, she is waiting to fight in the Taris death match ring.
She sighed, she has never made her own decisions. Only if a Jedi or something would rescue her.

Her sith 'master' had forced her to fight here for some reason.
She checked her vibroblade that was completely covered in vines so she could see it.
Ophenia had an odd vision, because of her blindness she can't see but because of her being an force sensitive she can see all living things.

Ophenia heard the announcer yell her 'name'.
''The Bliiind Bandiiit!''

She sighed and stood up, she walked out the door and onto the arena.

 

[Black Noise]

Sogar Derimsa sat in the crowd, watching the small blind girl come out of the area. The blind bandit eh, such a girl would be an excellent pawn for the Sith if she wasn't being wasted down in that arena. Though Sogar did not get up yet, he wanted to see how powerful this girl is, then he would go down and get her. He didn't mind causing trouble, he highly doubted there were Jedi in this crowd, and if there were Jedi, he'd love to fight one. He crossed his arms and sat back, watching eagerly.

 

[Syn]

Matsu was in the crowd and she was watching, someone here had brought her through the force with their despair. Slowly she looked up and moved flying higher to see the crowd and the Blind Bandit. The girl had pain as Matsu hovered and opened her parasol to make it look like a chair. She came down a little lower and observed, she would have to talk with the girl.

 

[Tarranium]

The match was just about to begin, Ophenia walked forward looking at her opponent.
Her tepid eyes startled the soon to be dead wannabe mercenary, she could see his greedy aura.
Even thou she held her head like she was looking down she could easily see the mercenary, she looked at her sword.

The sword was covered in veins so she could see it, everyone else found it weird.
She saw her opponent running towards her, it looked like he was holding something.
Just as the man was about to take a swing at her she took her left arm and started choking him with the force.

She always had an blank expression because of her blindness, she didn't blind she didn't even look at anyone to the eyes.

She raised her right hand that had the sword, she plunged the sword through her opponents stomach.
The crowd was horrified by what she could do, no one would have believed that a 12 year old girl could use the force like this or be capable of killing.

She dropped her opponent, she watched as his life force went away.
Ophenia then turned around to go back to the waiting room and back to her 'master' who kept her on this planet.

Matsu watched and cringed at the sight then came lower until she was near on of the doors. Slowly Matsu shifted and landed going through the doors and reached out. She didn't sense anything too dangerous here and slowly she walked getting to where the fighters were with a guard outside. Matsu walked to him and spoke when the man tried to stop her. "You will let me in, you will not allow anyone to disturb us inside." The man stood there and complied as Matsu went past she opened the door and looked for Ophenia as she spoke holding her parasol on her shoulder. Slowly she came to look at the girl and spoke. "An interesting tactic, I am Matsu and you called me here through the force." Matsu remained standing as she motioned the girl to come forward with her hand but sent out a small whisper through the force so she would know to come. "Now tell me what is your real name? Your stage name is just that."

 

[Black Noise]

Sogar stood up as well, headed for the doors. He saw someone talking to the guards, then they let her through. Sogar shrugged, she was probably the girl's handler, he would have to kill her. The first guard shot out a hand, telling him that he wasn't allowed back there. Sogar held out his left hand to the second guard, lifting him off the ground and choking him. Before the first guard could react, Sogar had placed a hand on his arm and drained the life out of him.

Feeling refreshed, Sogar walked through the doors and into the back, he heard the woman ask, "Now tell me what is your real name, your stage name is just that."
Sogar was surprised, so she wasn't the girl's handler. Then it hit him, this woman was a Jedi, smiling, Sogar entered into the room and stood aside, wanting to hear the girl's answer.

Ophenia had come back to the room where the fighters were, she walked along side the wall until she hit the chair she was looking for.
Slowly she sat down feeling if there was anything on the chair.
She looked at her blade, some of the vines were cut and now the plant had lost it's life force.
She shrugged and threw the sword away, as she was looking at the life forms downstairs she heard someone.

"An interesting tactic, I am Matsu and you called me here through the force."
"Now tell me what is your real name? Your stage name is just that."

Ophenia was suprised, someone actully wanted to talk to her.
She looked up to her, her aura was glowing blue meaning that she was good all the way.
''I-I'm Ophenia, I'm forced to fight here.''

 

[Syn]

Matsu looked at Ophenia as she sat down next to her and offered her arm. "Come with me, I will talk with you wile we walk. Then I will give you a choice to stay or go and respect whichever you choose." Slowly Matsu rose keeping her arm out for the girl to grab while she held her parasol and looked around from under her hat. There was one person watching them intently the others more curious but not caring. Matsu didn't disregard Sogar as she opened the parasol resting it over her shoulder.

 

[Black Noise]

Sogar stepped in front of Ophenia and Matsu, grinning before he ignited his blood red blade. He made a slight, respectful bow and said.
"Might I introduce myself? I am Sogar Derimsa, and I am dreadfully afraid that I'll have to kill you, master Jedi."
Sogar addressed Matsu in the respectful manner of a commoner, with the title of 'master jedi', rather than guessing her rank. Sogar reached out with the force first, prodding at Ophenia and Matsu's minds, throwing doubt into them. If the jedi was strong, she would resist thoughtlessly, though Ophenia might not be so lucky.

Matsu looked at him and raised an eyebrow as she shifted the parasol to her front and held it infront of them both. Her hand slid along the handle and she felt him trying to invade her mind. He was her height and heavier then her but his power was weaker. She continued to look at him feeling her face go blank and detached as she spoke through the force. "You know acolyte it is not nice to try and influence others. Stand down now and I will let you go. Continue and I'll hand you over to the authorities covered in your own vomit." Even as she spoke Matsu was focusing keeping her eyes locked with Sogars and focusing on his body down to the blood vessels and shifted her hand under the parasol slightly to push Malacia on the man. She was strong in it now and it was harder to resist but not perfect. If she had been a master no one could stop her nausia inducing attack.

Ophenia was startled when he saw the red and dark aura of the man who came in, as the Jedi and the Sith started their little battle Ophenia couldn't do anything but stand aside.
She was afraid of the two fighting, the victor would decide her fate.

She wanted to help but didn't know how.

 

[Black Noise]

As Sogar felt the pressure put on his veins, he assesed the situation. He knew that the Jedi most likely couldn't keep this power going long enough to actually put him unconscious if he was fighting her. But either way he'd have to disable the effects of it enough so that he could fight her. Sogar reached out with the force, he didn't understand this power very well and didn't have much of an idea on how to block it. Thus he did what seemed logical to him, he sent waves of the dark side crashing over his body and systems, purging them. He could feel the nausea wearing off, but the amount of enegery he expanded in purging his systems was insane. He knew he had to end this as he couldn't keep the effects away for more than a few minutes. However, he couldn't use any strong telekinetic power as he might accidentally kill Ophenia. Her death would mean their fight would be useless. Though his strong point was telekinetics, he knew other powers as well. Looking at the Jedi, Sogar said.
"Well, that wouldn't be very nice, but then again, when do we care about that sort of thing. You know why I'm here? For that girl, we both know how strong she is, and we both want her. Now that such has been said, I would advise you not to judge your enemy by their ranks."
Sogar reached out and sent a small, controlled bolt of lightning towards Matsu. The bolt was strong enough to cause major burns, but not kill. Sogar cursed inwardly as well, knowing that the room they stood in was too small for him to unleash a full bolt without killing Ophenia. So he used this bolt as a method to prod her defenses, wondering if she knew Tutnamis like him, or if she would use her lightsaber.

 

[Syn]

Matsu kept her face on Sogar as she stopped, he was expanding more energy to fight off the effects which was fine. When the lightning came at her she moved a little bringing the metal of the parasol up to hit the bolt as she twisted the handle and sending it downward a little towards the floor. Matsu looked at Sogar and raised an eyebrow. She was here because someone had called out for help it didn't matter if they were strong. Slowly Matsu spoke keeping her voice level and her face blank. "I do not wish to fight you. You may still walk away from here now. Tell your masters she had already disappeared." Slowly Matsu kept her eyes on him while she washed herself with serenity and lightly cloased the parasol half way. She could still open it quickly but it let her make it more like a projectile if she kicked it at his chest. Her hand still held the hilt of the sword and hovered near her lightsaber, she wasn't going to attack him unless he tried something more then a small parlor trick.

 

[Black Noise]

Sogar sighed, using the time spent talking to think up a battle strategy. He could lure her out into the arena by pretending to be fought backwards. Out in the arena he would be free to utterly destroy this entire place without worrying about Ophenia. Maelstrom would be perfect, he had yet to attempt it on a Jedi, after all. Sogar was sure he could keep off the effects of her strange power for, at the very least, five more minutes, ten if he strained it. So he started talking.
"You misunderstand me, master Jedi. I have no master, I have come here of my own accord. It would be quite useless to leave, then tell myself that I've failed. Rather, why don't you simply turn her over to me, I have no intention of harming her. A broken tool is of no use, they say."

 

[Syn]

Matsu kept her eyes on Sogar as she listened and remained still. She was not about the leave the girl alone as she apoke. "Ophenia do you wish to go with the sith or come with me?" zmatsu was not about to force thw girl to come with her but if she wanted to come Matsu would protect her decision.

 

[Tarranium]

Ophenia was somewhat terrified of the Sith and what Matsu asked her.
''No! I have been with the Sith for years and I hated it! I wanna come with you!''

She accidentaly used the force and and the power she had withing her, she accidentaly used the force to knock down every single person in the room.
Ophenia always knew that she was somewhat strong in the force but because the Sith had refused to teach her the proper ways of controlling it she rarely could use it.

 

[Black Noise]

Sogar threw up a barrier instantly, blocking the strong telekinetic outburst from Ophenia. Looking around, he saw the other assorted gladiators get thrown back from the outburst. She was strong, he liked that, needed it. But, seeing as she wouldn't come willingly, he'd have to destroy the Jedi to make her understand that she had no choice. Turning to Matsu, Sogar said.
"I'm quite sorry about this, I really had no intention of killing you, till now. I hope you understand."

Suddenly, he reached out with the force, the strain he was putting on his body too ward off the effects of nausea and unconsciousness were staggering, yet he still could appear to be fighting as if he felt nothing, at least for a minute. He blasted a massive wave of violet lightning towards Matsu, it was too big for it to be controlled, and consequentally it headed towards Ophenia as well. Sogar had a ton of hope riding on the fact that he believed that the jedi would try to defend both herself and Ophenia. Because if Matsu didn't defend Ophenia, then the lightning may as well kill Ophenia.

 

[Syn]

Matsu looked at Sogar as he fired a blast of lightning and she moved throwing the parasol forward to block her side and with a snap hiss her blade came alive in a flash of midnight blue catching the lightning going towards Ophenis since she was so close. Matsu looked at Sogar and spoke keeping her eyes on him and she spun the parasol. "I am sorry, but if you will not allow her to leave willingly I am afraid I will have to intervene." With another raise of her eyebrows Matsu held the parasol as she moved forward into a stance with her left foot and hand forward and her lightsaber over her head. The parasol came forward lin a shiak stabbing thrust as Matsu closed it with the force and she threw another wave of Malacia. She knew how to fight with her powers and slowly internally she grinned. He didn't know the parasol was cortosis most likely he would hopefully strike it and waste his energy to be taken by her malacia.

 

[Natise]

A group of ravens flew over the arena. It was no common group of raven though, for once they reached the opening of the stadium, they came together, spiraling downwards into the arena. They at the last row of the stands, slightly above the girl and force users. The ravens came together in a black flurry before disappearing completely, leaving Chora in their place.

Chora wore her grey robes, but instead of her usual double bladed lightsaber, she had a pair on guard ton fa's with her. She left them inactive, and simply observed Matsu and the sith she fought. Chora would not interfere unless her newest prospect, this blind girl, was in danger. She was sure that Matsu could handle herself in the situation.

 

[Black Noise]

Sogar felt his body grind within him as the Jedi's power continued to try and overtake him. He was running out of time and needed to try something. As the jedi struck out at him with the parasol, Sogar fueled the force to his feet and jumped backwards. He didn't know what it was made of, but Sogar was not so naive as to think the Jedi were stupid, so the strange umbrella would have to be made of something strange.

He landed on his feet a good five meters away, far enough for him to create a far deadlier power than lightning. Sogar gathered the force to him once again, if he failed here then continuing the fight would be useless, he would simply run in that case. He held out both hands and multiple arcs of orange and red lightning flew towards Matsu and Ophenia. This was his favorite power, his most deadly, Force Drain.
