In such a wide and expansive Galaxy, a place with Jedi, Sith and Mystical Forces beyond comprehension, there are those who manage to somehow stay ahead of the game, through a blend of luck, blinding charisma and a hold out pistol. Voren is one such man, a combination of a maverick, ruthless industrialist, and a gentleman of character and skill. Born on the planet of Correllia - known for its smugglers and rogues - Voren went into the armed forces at a young age, and his associates soon found that his considerable mass was made up of mostly muscle, rising through the ranks of his squadron with haste, before leaving onto greater things: commerce and industry.
Becoming a pilot for hire, Voren took to gambling and womanizing, before eventually being drawn into the Cargo Running game, his life leading him to bounce from planet to planet, system to system, on the run from debtors and lovers, and always in pursuit of the Cargo, or to top up his crew. Shortly after making a large windfall in the cargo running game, the man set up a firm of his own, running cargo down the dangerous routes into the Outer-Rim. At some point in his life, Voren cheated a member of the Kuati Nobility out of their title, and stole their daughter before leaving her at a motel in the Outer-Rim. He has - by another woman - a son who enjoys a life as a junior manager in his fathers business.
Soon after, the Baron made his way into the world of corporate business, becoming one of Czerka Corps Special Executives, with a special remit to expand the Czerka Operations into the logging industry. Moving to the distant moon of Endor, he began a deforestation campaign, soon growing the profits of the company immensely, soon working his way up through the ranks to Director, and some years later, CEO. Rumors of corruption within the company were rife, and it was around this time that the CEO began to consolidate his own shareholding in the company, soon becoming the majority holder of Class-A voting shares in the company. With his position secured he set about vastly expanding and improving the company whilst consolidating his control over it, with some labeling him as an "Oligarch", removing the former Chairman - who was later found dead at his home - and taking the position for himself.
With an increasingly demanding personality, and rumored to only sleep for 4 hours a day - Voren has been described as one of the most innovative business people in the Galaxy. Talking a harsh outlook on business, whilst being ruthlessly organised, with an impeccable attention to detail and an almost phycopathic desire to improve efficiency and service, Voren is a force to be reckoned with in the board room. Thanks to his private training, as well as former wrestling and combat heard, the man is also a heavy set combatant and is not to be underestimated in that field either.
He is known as a prolific inventor, having designed the "Pack" Datapad as well as several rifles and the staple "CZ Fighter". Following his long Business & Political Career, the man is now rumored to be frequenting the Casinos and Gambling Houses of the Galaxy, for reasons unknown, whilst basically doing nothing else bar throwing Credits at his Ewokslaves staff.
Effectively in hiding, the man divested his interests and hid his wealth, seeking one day to return to the Galactic stage, when the chaos he had helped cause, died down.
BIOGRAPHY
Born on Correllia to a mother who was known as 'a lady of the night', and as such Voren is not entirely sure who his father was. Regardless, after nearly eight years on the streets as a criminal and thief, Voren was accepted into one of the planetary academies, entering a fast-stream toward military service. Whilst at school he learned a lot of the technical skills such as ship piloting, forearms and basic engineering, that he would come to find of great use in his later years.
MILITARY SERVICE
Within weeks of his graduation however, the young man was moved into Military Service at the demand of his national Government, and was quickly assigned to a small regiment as one of their supply pilots and gunship operatives. Flying several missions before he was promoted, the young man became one of the most renowned Pilots in the armed forces, before eventually being promoted out of front-line operations. Whilst some would see this as a blessing, Voren was not one for shying away from danger, and soon stepped down from his position, to become a Pilot for hire - or as some would say - a Smuggler.
SHIPPING
Purchasing a ship - with a false credit card - Voren began moving goods for numerous outer-rim criminals and other business personnel, running everything from Spice to Weapons, often working on the Republic Border so as to remain just outside their legal policing area. Never being caught, he became somewhat of a premium shipping pilot, before moving into the more legitimate field of cargo shipping, working up an equally sufficient reputation as a pilot in this field also.
Working for nearly half a decade as a captain of his own mass freight hauler, losing crew to pirates, internal disputes, or accidents, Voren held off numerous piracy attacks alongside his crew and first mate, before realizing that his professional life could most likely benefit more if he took on a safer line of work, for an existing company. However, such companies did not exist, with the vast majority of shipping being performed in the inner rim and core - few vessels daring to go into the outer-rim in a professional and legal capacity.
Setting up investment parties, at which the Industrialist secured investment from wealthy core-worlders, Voren soon had sufficient capital to start one of the first 'frontier' organisations, a shipping company that hauled vast volumes of cargo and people from the Core to the Outer-Rim. Profiting immensely from the rush of emigration to these 'new' planets, his company grew and grew, before attracting the attention of a much larger entity.
Czerka. The largest company in the Outer-Rim, and some even said the galaxy, Czerka proceeded to form a merger with Vorens shipping company, and take him on as a Special Executive after the company cleared his name in the eyes of the authorities, in charge of operations from shipping to their new logging operations on Endor. Growing into his new role, he took on more responsibilities, even as the company floundered as a result of their poor business and ethical malpractice.
CHEATING A PRINCESS
As part of his employment with Czerka, the young man was moved on detachment to their Endor Operations, run by a Kuati Noble, who's daughter he was the direct superior of. Over the course of three years, he was promoted gradually to lead the operation on Endor, forming close links with the wealthy Kuati, before marrying the daughter of the Kuati Noble - Kila Kuat, which further advanced his career in the company, partnering up the contacts he had made through his own business, with the 'Old Money' of Kuat.
Using his new found money, Voren purchased a large volume of shares in his company, effectively purchasing a seat on the Board of Directors, just before heading onto their honeymoon. After the first week, he left his wife in a bar on Tatooine, with a pistol containing a single shot, and a map pointing towards the nearest Krayt Dragon cave, and divorced her via holo-message the next day, before buying her father out of the company. The next month he was appointed as the new CEO of Czerka, despite repeat protests from one of its shareholders, Kila Kuat, who mysteriously vanished days after his appointment.

With only basic powers gained from hired trainers (who later 'vanished'), and personal research using his considerable fortune, the CEO became totally obsessed with his quest, with some thinking it would serve as a detriment to his company. denied the use of a lightsaber, the man labelled himself in secret, as a 'Dark Side Adept', spending a fortune on expanding his private collection of Sith items, even reaching out to the Sith, to allow his company to mine near sith tombs, allowing him to secretly secure artifacts for his training.
A SURPRISING TURN
However, all was not well in the Galaxy, and with his growing force abilities plaguing him with constant nightmares, Voren withdrew from Czerkas daily operations, reaching out to the Sith under the auspices of 'Lord Aurum' so investigate these visions further. Dark power was growing in the North, a terrifying power (@Marf) - direct where he was subtle, corrupting where he was divisive - a Sith Lord of undocumented power.

After months of investigation, he made up his mind. The republic was fractured, weak, the Galaxy - the Galaxy was not ready for the horrors it would soon face. Selling his stake in Czerka, he practically purchased his seat on the Senate - the Planet Anaxes was heavily bribed to back him as their representative - and he soon took up office. Working behind the scenes, accidents where arranged, rivals defamed, and soon he was to take up the position of 'Commander' of the distant 'Border Alliance' - a posting that would allow him the leverage he needed to direct the Republic to unification, expansion, and War.
He spent a while with the Republic, reworking their internal security to root out Sith supporters, however as time went by the former CEO found that the challenge was not up to scratch. Removing himself from the senate, and falling back to his considerable share holdings and private fortunate from Czerka - which made him one of the wealthiest people in the Republic - he went into some what of an obscurity, focusing on tying up his own private affairs.
One such opportunity to tie up, and make more secretive, his own personal life came in the form of an offer from an old friends, Mr Lars Warren (@Breeso), who in the years since their previous work together, had gone on to become leader of the criminal group known as the Exchange. Taking on the rank of 'Boss', the former CEO, Chairman and Senator folded into the group, serving as one of their many front Organisations.
His influence in the media, manufacturing, logistics and energy provided the perfect cover for some of his new groups more unscrupulous practices, and he quickly began to work for the benefit of his criminal allies.
OFF THE RAILS
As part of his work with the infamous Exchange, as somewhat of a high class criminal broker, the former Senator and Business Mogul took to the space-lanes, blaster at his side, to partake of a wide range of Gambling matches, Pazaak games and other activities. His money well hidden in hundreds of accounts and safe-houses across the Galaxy, he was ready to be of full use to the Exchange. It was in this capacity that he served as a 'Boss' in the Criminal Group, with his own personal trade being in the brokerage of useful items, contacts and information.
Controlling a Luxury Transportation Company, several sponsorship of pit-fighters and racing teams and of course the infamous CNN group, the man was put to use working to keep the Exchanges activities covert, profitable and working together for greater gain, something of a power-broker in the Criminal World. With his work within the Criminal World being somewhat derailed however, by the Exchange Civil War, the now increasingly old man, retired somewhat becoming a major player in the 'Buying Expensive Stuff' world, often topping the 'Top Ten Most Expensive [SOMETHING]' lists on semi-factual Holonet Blogs.
He even hired a dancing troupe of Ewoks, because...why the hell not? Voren also, during this stage of his life, began the development of a high end housing and tourism area on Etti IV, and other planets, making artificial islands, because using what the Gods gave us was foolish, and sometimes palm tree shaped islands are needed. However, with the Exchanges collapse never far from his mind, it did not take long for it to soon find him. A well placed bomb, delivered on the request of Nor'baal the Younger, nearly took the man out.
Leaving his scarred, with somewhat horrendous burns covering his face, Voren tried to secure revenge against the Hutt, and alongside a team of hired killers, he breached the Hutts Palace, and exterminated him, alongside most of his family. Covering up the killing, which ironically involved a few more killings, eventually brought about an end to the Exchange collapse.
For months the man hid out on distant worlds, trying to hide his links to criminal groups, Sith Lords and more, selling the CNN group back to Czerka (@Sangga) and heading into hiding get further, he hid his wealth across the Galaxy in numerous Safehouses and banks, and made a return to the Galaxy.
Returning to his routes, he took to gambling, hunting, and wheeling and dealing back through life. Winning the administration of a Mining Colony in one of the Republics many asteroid belts, Voren was about to make a comeback, "Baron Administrator", had a nice ring to it. Naturally, the workers didn't fully agree with their new leader, but Voren didn't really mind.
Buddying up with the local security team on the asteroid mining facility near the Corellian system (and in the same map grid) he began to turn things around, opening casinos and much more on the asteroids, turning them into a veritable "Hutta Strip".
Using this new found fame, as somewhat of a buccaneer adventurer, he made plans to head back to the Republic. Acquiring a Bounty Warrant, he reached out to Chancellor Rhone (@Fyreleader) and an old associate of his Thalia (@Cameron Foster) to make inroads back to the place he once called home. His billions poured into covering his past, buying off killers and pumping into the asteroid facility, Voren was almost back to square one, his billions now six figures, his Bounty work set to top up what was left.
He had a new lease of life, the world of high business and politics far behind him, the Galaxy of adventure and roguish luck ahead. With a blaster or two by his side, and only his wit, luck and skill to keep on the road forwards, Voren had never felt so alive. He built a reputation up within months as one of the best connected, most professional Hunters in the Galaxy, always filling out a contract, and always willing to work for whoever, wherever, and whenever, in so long as the price was right.
