VIKTOR'S FIRST THIRTY
History: Viktor DeMonchese was dishonorably discharged from the Republic Military at age 38 and he went to a near bye bar to drink the rest of his horrible life. But soldiers who had served under him and felt his strength and charisma wouldn’t let him destroy himself. So they had resigned from the Military and put their futures’ on Viktor decision. He took command of this little band of men that number 31 and set became a miniature Mercenary company. They did little jobs, but eventually the stories of Viktor DeMonchese and his band of 30 taking down a huge smuggling ring, defending against hundreds of enemies from a wooden barricade, and other stories of heroism circulated. Eventually people came up with the idea that if you weren’t part of Viktor’s 30 you were no hero, and recruitment to the company skyrocketed. They began working more and more higher jobs. They got one job that included a huge asteroid base. They were to take control of the asteroid base and blow it up. Viktor and his most trusted acted as pirates to gain entry to the asteroid and set the bombs. They were caught and had to run for a ship as fast as possible. They got to the hangar and made their escape about the same time the bombs blew up.
For the following years Viktor only got high paying jobs and allowed him to have a huge sum of money in a private bank account. Viktor's jobs always had a chance of dying and those in the First Thirty often cared not for life, because if they died it was for the Republic. One job Viktor was given by a Alsaken. This was before they had mustered most of their troops and what not and he was needed to take down a group of rogue Alsakens who were trying to assassinate the Vicar. Viktor again infiltrated this group to learn about them on their base in a nearbye system. Viktor had a homing beacon on him so when he arrived the Carrier would fire down and obliterate this place, taking out all the rogues. Viktor hid the beacon and activated it on the leader of the rogues and ran for his life making it as far as a forest before the aerial bombardment began. After it was over Viktor again started his personnal beacon and a ship came down to pick him up.
Viktor watched in horror, at the age of 49, as Coruscant fell to the Alsakens. He immediantly used this moment to leave a letter for the Chancillor on Correllia. The letter goes as followed:
"Chancillor, if you happen to get this letter don't disregard it. Through the years of military service the Senators have done more than hurt people to save themselves. By all accounts you have done a great job of doing the best you can with what you have. But the Senators who are hypocrates, doing what gets them more money, aren't. So it is my pleasure to announce my pleasure of leaving the Republic. Any soldier in any military has the right to follow me in this action and will not be punished for it. But we will not leave the republic completely. Instead we will focuse our efforts on helping Republic worlds that need help from pirates, Alsakens, and any type of scum in the world. There will be no action against the Republic by my soldiers and those who disobey the orders given will be punished very badly.
Regards, Viktor DeMonchese."
With this letter Viktor began to work outside of Republic law to help those planets that the republic couldn't.
Forces:
Naval:
1 Carrier-Holds most of the troops, all of the tanks, and most of the landing transports. Has numerous weapon emplacements and several larger guns for other large ships.
Ground:
3,000 Soldiers of many different Races including Zabrak, Human, Wookiee, Trandoshan, Zeltron, and many others.
10 Medium Amoured Tanks
Troop Transports to move around quicker on a planet. They are armed with a blaster turret and all have anti-mine blades at the front.
Uniforms, equipment:
Scout Troop Armor:
Scouts have Range finders, survival packs, camoflauge cloaks, knifes, utility belt that contains personal equipment (trophies, lucky charms, equipment they feel is neccesary)
Regular Soldier Armor:
All soldiers have a pack that includes water, food packs, other neccesary itmes. They also have either slugthrower or blaster rifle. Some have sniper rifles. They also have harness with extra pockets for ammo and grenades. NCOs and Officers have the choice of a sidearm and a close quaters weapon.
Locations: They have a hollowed out asteroid turned into a base that can hide their Carrier from detection. It is currently in the Expansion Region.
Funding: Their funding is what they take from the dead enemies. The First Thirty do their best to take down crime rings and take the money from the crime rings once they are wiped out. Sometimes they will recieve payment from small cities for helping them with certain problems. All that money is put together to buy fuel for ships, vehicles, ammo, new uniforms, etc.
Motive: Their motive is to protect the planets that the Republic can't because of being either too busy or simply forgetting them.
Ranks:
Naval Ranks:
Captain- Controlls the carrier and all those who are in the Naval force
Leiutenant- Falls Directly under Captain and can only be ordered by Captain and Select Ground Officers
Petty Officer- Second lowest rank; commanded by all except crewman.
Crewman- Lowest Rank; Most ambiguous rank in the Naval Forces, can be used for everything, engineer, ship functions, etc.
Ground Ranks:
Lord Commissar-Viktor DeMonchese
Colonel-Takes command of 1/3 of the soldiers, veteran officer
Major-3 for every Colonel, ordered around only by Colonel, Lord Commissar, and Commissar
Leiutenant-Most seen officer rank, commands platoons.
Master Sergeant-Second highest rank in platoon, very vocal person, usually shouts out Leiutenants' orders
Sergeant-Commands a Squad follows orders from Master Sergeant to Lord Commissar
Corporal- Commands a 4 man fireteam (3 in each squad)
Private- Lowest rank in the ground force, takes crap from everyone
Special Ranks:
Commissar-Chosen Few of Viktor DeMonchese, they are chosen for great command, political, and battle skills. They have the right to execute and take command from any soldier in the Ground or Naval forces. Not every officer likes the Commissars because they stand for the Iron Will Viktor needs for every battle.
((Is a work in progress, I'll fix anything that needs to be fixed, and will add on more detail to the history))
