Both her small hands wrapped around the eerie red holocron as she focused on it. It was alive with the Force and it sensed her just like how she sensed it. She could feel it tugging at her being, at her soul, waiting to devour some of it. Though she was aware that it would want part of her,, she never expected it to feel this way. To feel so... hungry. Closing her eyes, Kalla's presence in the room seemed to all but fade away—muffled by the holocron's power.

As she gathered herself, she finally allowed it to begin taking what it wanted. Her soul, her memories, all flooding into it. She began to speak, though she couldn't tell if she was speaking out loud or not, "I am Vex, the Wraith, The Eternal, scion of the darkness, servant of the Empress. Address me as you will, blood of my blood." When the last words left her lips, she reached down to her belt and grabbed a dagger. Bringing it up to one of her palms, she made a quick, clean slice across it. Her crimson blood dripped down her palm, her wrist, her arm and she turned it over and placed it on the holocron.

It was her will that only descendants of her could unlock the holocron. Though she was aware that some might figure out how to unlock it regardless. She was aware Kalla was in the room, and if she was speaking aloud it would give away her desire to have a child... but it probably wasn't much of a surprise. After all, the Empress had two children now and possibly a third on the way. Vex saw the power in that, the power of a bloodline. If she could not make herself immortal through the darkness, maybe her descendants could.
