Verac, just barely a man, seeks the truth about the ongoing war between the Imperium and the Rebels after the disappearance of his parents at a young age. Pulled by the Force to the Daedalus space station, the boy fell on hard times but is seeking redemption and purpose through the Jedi Order...or whoever else is willing to help. Personality Verac is a rather well-rounded person, if it weren't for his rather aggressive nature. He is by no means intrinsic, and is able to act very calmly and tactfully in a crowd. He has a bit of a charismatic side, so long as a random outburst doesn't trigger his aggression. Not admitting to it, he is rather self-conscious and does is best to maintain his own honor and competence. Failure is taken rather hard, and a very moody or aggressive state is triggered when he is talked down to by superiors or peers. Beliefs Verac, at the moment, only believes in hard evidence. At his forefront, he wants to be free and have a purpose for good. He is very impressionable and has nothing solidified in his mind. At his core, he believes that combat should be used when necessary, and that there is no room for mercy. If mercy is to be an option, than it can be done so without bloodshed. In his time on the Daedalus, he could only gather that a drawn weapon demands blood. Verac believes that problems should be neutralized as quickly and efficiently as possible. Biography Verac is, more or less, a typical troubled youth turned Jedi. His parents were taken away at the age of eleven. Unbeknownst to Verac, they were harboring rebel fugitives and aiding the cause, acting as a sort of "numbers station". It took Verac a while to realize this, since he didn't have a home. The family traveled much. Business, his father called it. When they were taken in the night by Imperial enforcers, Verac was left to live on Anaxes, under Imperium custody. He led a normal life of schooling, but left quickly after he had reached adulthood. Verac continually saw visions of his parents in his dreams, and soon was called to the Daedalus. Verac wouldn't realize it, but it was the complex ebbing and workings of the Force that implanted this thought in his mind. Catching a shuttle to the Daedalus, he fell into a tough crowd rather quickly, without much guidance. Narcotic usage and questionable activities were at the forefront of his workings. However, after meeting several rebels passing through, he decided to try and figure out something more for himself. Not entirely sure that the Rebel forces were correct, but not trusting the Imperium, Verac looked inward upon himself and decided that the Jedi Order could help him realize the purpose of his Force sensitivity. Abilities Verac has numerous skills during his time living under Imperium jurisdiction, as well as making a bit of a niche for himself at the Daedalus. His criminal activity has made him an excellent shot with a handgun of any sort, though more advanced weaponry is rather alien to him, as are melee weapons. Verac is able to pilot speeders, swoop bikes, and starships masterfully. There were many times when he had entered a race, legal or otherwise, for quick credits. Verac is not only charismatic at times, when his personality allows, but also very knowledgable. He certainly paid attention while being educated by the Imperium, albeit towards their biases.
