NAME: Vekarr Nicabre

FACTION: Hutt Cartel

RANK: Enforcer

SPECIES: Ubese

AGE: 25

GENDER: Female

FORCE SENSITIVE: No

APPEARANCE:

Vekarr has pale white skin and brilliant blue eyes which are usually hidden beneath her rebreather mask. Her hair is short and black, cut to be comfortable beneath her helmet. Vekarr wears a full enclosed Rebreather Helmet, one designed with two large view ports and a much more slender and form fitting then her other peoples helmets. Her clothes are a mix of sand, dark browns, and blacks, giving her a very earth tone appearance say for the glowing blue color of her helmets eyes. She stands at standard height for most females, with a slender figure and a rather flat physique.

ATTRIBUTES:

Vekarr is a skilled marksman whose practiced the use of pistols in combat, often carrying multiple blasters due to her dislike of reloading. She is lithe and nimble, usually preferring to dodge around the battlefield and attack people from the shadows. Vekarr is also good at Hand to hand combat, and she knows her way around a knife well enough. Being an Ubese, Vekarr is distrustful of others, especially since she requires a special rebreather to survive. Without her mask, she cannot breath in a normal atmosphere, and can be life threatening as a weakness. Vekarr is also prone to sometimes following her instincts or base desires at the cost of fulfilling the mission as stated, this often manifests in her racking up unnecessary casualties or property damage, as Vekarr prefers to go big or go home.

PERSONALITY:

Vekarr has a personality that seems to be in conflict at itself, having a good sense of humor and always looking at the bright side of things, while also being rather grim. She enjoys pranks and a good joke, even at her own expense, and always tries to make a game out of things, making up objectives and coming up with self-imposed rules. Vekarr is also someone who doesn’t believe that life has good people, just varying degrees of rot waiting to happen, and that nobody, not even her own people, are worth preserving for long. She believes that all life is suffering and doomed to end, so you might as well enjoy the ride as much as you can, and look at death with a smile.

BIOGRAPHY:

Vekarr was born on a spaceship, kept sealed in a protective chamber of the ship, whose atmospherics had been designed to pump a in their thinned oxygen atmosphere. Thus set how She understood the world, nomadic and forced to go through special conditions in order to survive, since their homeworld of Uba was an irradiated waste. Despite this however, Vekarr never let it get her down, focusing on enjoying life Instead of dreading it. Her parents were exiles of the “true ubese”, a group of stubborn folks clinging to traditions that didn't Matter anymore. Who cared what your helmet looked like? Who cares what other people did? None of that mattered to her, but neither did her parents sthick of trying to be better members of their race.

To Vekarr, life was misery, living with the fear of choking on air that everyone else had no problem dealing with. Constantly getting distrusted by normal folks, and constantly being cursed at by their own kind, made her feel more alone than anything else she’d felt before. And her parents constant happy go lucky attitude was both comforting, but also grating as she grew up. Fortunately, her parents happened to be used to the life of a vagrant, teaching her how to repair the ships, navigate, and how to defend herself when needed. Often times, they would hop from poor world to poor world, scavenging old tech and refurbishing it to sell to collectors for credits. It was in her training to use a Blaster, that Vekarr would feel the best, and her parents would let her use some of the excess scrap metal as target practice whenever they landed on a world.

Seeing her parents pursuing their passion, even in the face of how the galaxy saw them, helped to shape Vekarr’s ideas that your own happiness was more important than what anyone else thought of you. This was the final nail in the coffin for Vekarr’s life as a law abiding citizen, as she soon began to pursue ways of using their home-taught sharp shooting to earn some extra credits. At first it was a scam, trick a person into thinking they were hiring some badass ubese mercenary and earn some credits by scarring some people once in a while. It was honestly a funny prank, and she found for the job, 99% of it was just Bravado, talking with confidence and knowing how to read people. Watching grown men back away from her in her teens just because of how her voice sounded, and reciting the insults and threats she’d gotten, was vindicating.

But eventually, it caught up with her, as she took a deal to bodyguard a host of a Pod Race who’d been rigging bets, only for some folks to actually come to collect. The skirmish lasted only a minute, with Vekarr emptying her single pistol and dropping one attacker, then mad scrambling to pick up blaster after blaster to fire at her opponents, too scared to think straight or reload as all she could do was panic and focus on killing her assailant before they killed her. When it was over, Vekarr had managed to kill 6 thugs and got a knife to the gut, and a bad blast to the back. Rather then kill her, she was given a choice, join up with the Hutt Cartel as a prospective member, or get delivered back to her scrapper parents one body part at a time.

Vekarr didn’t hesitate to join, her skill with a blaster and her stroke of luck having earned her a second chance at life. Her bravado in her role as bodyguard had earned the attention of the hutts, who’d been keeping tabs on her as a prospect. Now employed by the Hutt’s, Vekarr works to pay off the debt she owes by killing 6 members of the cartel, 85% of her credits earned on missions going to her Vigo as “compensation and interest”. She still tries to look on the bright side, and whenever possible, she sends interesting items she manages to find back to her parents to sell. Vekarr has honed her skills in combat, and as an Enforcer has worked to kill enemies of the hutts and personal targets of her Vigo. One day, she hopes to put a bolt of plasma in their head, and earn their freedom from under their thumb.

SKILLS:

Vekarr is an expert marksman, learning to utilize two blasters at once. She can utilize rifles along with pistols but prefers pistols. Vekarr is a good pilot, capable of chasing down people in ships but lacks the knowledge to be good at evasion with them. She has medical and mechanic experience, knowing how to maintain ships and her weapons, as well as her helmets respirator, and how to treat wounds in the field. Vekarr is okay at these, and pretty good when using a knife, but shines when fighting against foes blaster to blaster.

Hey there. That star courier is classed as advanced tech so that's going to need a tech plot completed to be obtained

6 blasters might be a bit much, quite a lot of firepower that.
