DESCRIPTION​

A blaster designed by Vax to fill a hole that many of the galaxy feel is lacking. Made to fit comfortably in the role of a scout rifle designed to be as versatile as possible while offering the maximum range necessary to fill it's role as Vax's main arm. This can be seen in the design as most of the rifle is comprised of treated wood making the rifle very rugged and reducing it's weight compared to other rifles in it's class.

Compromises had to be made in power however as the rifle while offering greater range (aided by the standard 6x scope) than a standard blaster rifle also doesn't pack the heavy punch of sniper rifle. The rifle is more versatile than a sniper however making it more effective at closer ranges essentially still being able to function as a standard rifle with a lower ammo capacity. Firing rate also had to come down, though while semi automatic firing the rifle too quickly can cause over heating and due to the lighter nature of the rifle greatly reduced accuracy. These compromises suited Vax just fine as he usually has a patient and calm hand when it comes to shooting.

INTENT​

To give Vax a Scout Rifle. Something I feel is a niche rifle of sorts. Essentially a rifle that falls between a full fledged sniper and a standard assault style rifle.
