Makeb Plot

With the attentions of the Hutt Cartel falling on the world of Makeb, Hax Vandeem has plans and machinations of his own, to carve out his own slice of the pie and forge his own leagcy in the chaos to come. Handsome rewards are dolled out to those brave smugglers able and willing to bring Coaxium and Isotoype-5 off-world but little by way of reimbursement is offered to those who can bring things planet-side.

Bucking the trend, Hax Vandeem seeks to bring weapons, men and fighters onto the world, taking the supply of Isotope-5, Coaxium and other fuel derivatives for himself.

However, Hax is no fool, and seeks to keep such an organisation as he plans to take over, a legitimate and presentable front for future criminal deeds. Staging raids with his imported fighters, Hax Vandeem - an 'honest security provider' - trades shares in the companies, for protection through his droid forces.

Once delivered, it is hardly his fault that other shareholders die, leaving control of a collection of Coaxium, Isotope-5 and Chemical Refineries in his hands?

With a ship, enforcers and a protection racket, Vandeem will be very much in business.

Mission I - Bringing in the Goods

A collection of smugglers will bring in PC fighters, who shall then establish a secret base of operations on Makeb. This thread will not be DM'ed, using Dice to pass difficulty checks. The fighters will then have several OPEN threads, at their discretion, to cause carnage on Makeb, attacking whatever factories they wish to attack.

Mission II - Automated Assistance

At Hax Vandeems bidding, a group of contractors accompany him to purchase a collection of Enforcers, elite troops from the Warrior Training centers of Hutts.

Mission III - Mechanical Salvation

Two PCs, acting to head up two maniples of Enforcers shall protect a factory against a staged raid by the aformentioned figters from Mission One. At the conclusion of this thread, which shall not be DM'ed, Hax shall appear before the Board of several factories, and pitch for continued service provision in return for shares, and the provision of a mobile HQ (a Cloudskimmer Yacht)

Mission IV - Reqium

Hax shall call a meeting of several of the larger share holders on board his ship, and 'encourage' them to pay him protection taxes for the foreseeable future.
