Val is tanned, with long black hair and no facial hair to speak of. His eyes are dark brown, and his face thin with his jaw well defined.

He’s a talented thief, specialising in pickpocketing, but is also able to splice controls and hack low-level computer systems. Thanks to his life on the streets, he’s also a great runner. His stamina and ability to run largely make up for his lack of muscle and strength. When running isn’t an option, however, he can often talk his way out of trouble by charming or convincing his would-be attackers. Thanks to a few run-ins with old friends, he’s realised that he isn’t the sharpshooter he once thought himself to be. He’s a decent shot, but nowhere close to rivalling the gangs that haunt him.

Val is a kind, but mostly self-centered man. Thanks to his past traumas, he doesn’t trust people easily - or at all, for that matter. He’s a smooth talker, but a bad liar, and often sells himself out with his lack of confidence. His determination to escape the poverty he was born into largely motivates his actions, and has led to him making friends of all sorts - good and bad. While he isn’t a coward, he certainly knows when it’s time to quit. He’s cold and calculated when he needs to be, and otherwise leaves life on autopilot.
Biography:
Growing up on the streets after his family were slaughtered, Val struggled to learn how to survive on his own. Eventually he was able to start pickpocketing people, and could rely on his smooth tongue to talk his way out of trouble. One day he chose the wrong mark, and unknowingly stole something from one of the most powerful crime bosses in his sector. Realising his mistake, Val began a new life, on the run from his past.
Skills:
Being on the streets at an early age, he’s not as educated as he should be, speaking only Basic, and even then his speech isn’t flawless. To make up for this, he was able to learn how to hunt for food in the wilderness outside his town. He’s a talented thief and is able to not only pickpocket people, but also splice through simple computer systems. He’s also capable of hacking droids and reprogramming them.
