Name: Urso
Faction: None
Rank: N/A
Species: Zabrak
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Force Sensitive? Yes.
- Trained or Untrained? Untrained

Appearance:
Standing at a rather unassuming 5'10, Urso sports the classic red skin, tattoo-like markings and cranial 'horns' of a Zabrak - though, much of them are covered by his floppy brown hair which he refuses to comb or style. His head is narrow, rather than round, and he has high cheekbones which are complemented by his bright green eyes. Although his lips are thin, they are possibly the most notable feature on his face thanks to the deep scar which starts at his bottom lip (on the right side of his face) and ends at the top of his right collar bone, featuring a nice and long scar line on his neck.

With shoulders that aren't notably broad or arms that aren't particularly beefy, Urso does not appear to be the most physically intimidating person in the world. Although fit, his build is more akin to that of a runner, not a bodybuilder. For all intents and purposes, Urso could be considered somewhat skinny in fact. Weighing in at a fairly comfortable 67kg, Urso can't exactly throw his weight around.

At the moment, Urso wears a brown leather jacket which looks like it has been repaired many times after it probably should have been thrown out. This covers his blast vest underneath. He wears similarly dark brown, almost black, long pants with some old construction boots which appear to be falling apart. Across his chest is a bandolier which carries a wide array of tools which he uses for hacking and an assortment of pointless knick-knacks which he has acquired on his journey. On his right hip is a holster for his pistol and on his left is his vibranium short blade.

Attributes:
Physically, Urso presents a decent threat. Although, not because of his strength. In regards to strength actually, Urso is somewhat weak. Instead, it is Usro's speed and dexterity which presents him as a threat. He is quick, agile and flexible too. All of this means Urso is difficult to hit and difficult to catch. However, his lack of strength, combined with his somewhat weaker constitution, means that if he somehow could get hit, he wouldn't be in the fight long. To make up for this glaring flaw, Urso is a prepper with a keen mind. Whilst Urso is far from the smartest creature in the galaxy, he wouldn't miss the opportunity to flex his rather refined mental muscles. His intelligence, in conjunction with his tendency to plan, means that Urso likes to think himself prepared for any situation he could find himself in.

TL;DR stats version:
  • Strength (Low)
  • Dexterity (High)
  • Intelligence (High)
  • Constitution (Low)
  • Charisma (Medium)
  • Combat skill (Somewhere between medium to high)
Urso, however, is easily fixated on things that interest him to the point of obsession. This has benefits and drawbacks, obviously; it also makes him susceptible to addiction. Urso, as a drifter, is not particularly idealistic - lacking any form of direction or values which could ground him. But, let it never be said that Urso is a coward, for bravery is, or so he likes to think, one of his best traits. Or perhaps it is recklessness disguised as bravery; either way, Urso is not one to back down out of fear.

Personality:
One word to describe Urso? Relaxed. Perhaps this is part of his indecisive persona. But Urso is relaxed in most situations. He is not robotic and may feel stress at times in which he's being shot at or something of the like. But, most of the time, Urso is chilled - with emotions like anger and frustration being distant; a near non-existent emotion for him. Urso is a free spirit above all else and prides himself on his love for freedom. Yet, this freedom comes at the cost of being sometimes indecisive and largely non-committal. Aside from this, Urso has said to be adaptable and compassionate to those who value freedom in a similar way that he does. Contrastingly, he harbours a distaste for those who mindlessly devote themselves to a cause without any thought of their self and their freedoms.

Biography:
Urso's story is, in fact, a rather simple one. Urso was born on Nar Shaddaa to two Zabrak parents who were very controlling of their child. Although Urso's parents were very controlling of their child for his own safety, due to the dangers that lurked around Nar Shaddaa, Urso always felt resentment toward his parents for not giving him the freedom to do as he so wished. As he aged, primarily throughout his teen years, he rebelled against his parents as any teenager would, disobeying their orders to do as he pleased.

This led to the young Zabrak falling in with a minor gang on Nar Shaddaa. They taught him a number of things - the most notable being how to fight with a blade and blaster, how to abuse soft-ware technology for his own gain, and more importantly, how to live. Urso ran with that minor gang for a few years, but when the group he was part of attempted to merge with a larger organised criminal organisation, Urso attempted to leave. He found that, under the new leadership of this much larger and more organised gang, his life became too structured and regimented, and he hated the hierarchy which had now been imposed. Being ordered around by someone else conflicted with Urso's thirst for freedom. So, he thought about leaving. Unfortunately, he got stuck with the gang when abominations exhibiting symptoms of AMS overran Nar Shaddaa, as he was safer with the gang than without it. Toward the end of the infection, as it was coming to a close, Urso left the gang and their hideout, making sure that he left as many security measures unchecked as possible before he went - letting the abominations cleave their way through as much of the gang as they could. This outbreak did result in the death of his parents as he soon found out, meaning that after leaving the gang, Urso had nothing tieing him down, he was free to do whatever he wanted even more so than before.

However, with that problem solved and Nar Shaddaa returning to a state of relative normalcy, Urso finally and totally cut his ties from the gang and has since wandered the streets of Nar Shaddaa as a freelancer. Doing whatever people ask for as long as he's willing to do it and they are willing to pay him to do it. He has recently gained a 'galactic consciousness' (metaphorically) and is beginning to think about leaving the planet - but, for the moment, remains on Nar Shaddaa. His escape might be complicated, however. His former gang members, what is left of them, aren't entirely happy with Urso's premature departure from their ranks and his final act of betrayal. Although he isn't their biggest priority, Urso does know that a select few members of the gang he used to work with might be hunting him down and attempting to stop him from leaving the planet.

Skills:
Urso's very limited set of life experiences has left him with a very limited set of skills, but this means he's had time to practice and refine these skills to a much greater extent. Said skills are:
  1. Marksmanship with many different types of weapons. Easily his best offensive skill.
  2. Melee skill. Urso is decent in close quarters combat, but not a prodigy by any means.
  3. Technological expertise. Urso is skilled in the use of technology. Software-based technology specifically. Hacking and file-diving are his specialities.
  4. Stealth. The streets of Nar Shaddaa make it easy for someone to learn how to disappear in a crowd. This goes doubly so for members of organised crime, as they need to avoid being caught after their crimes; the narrow, crowded and bustling streets of Nar Shaddaa are certainly the best way of doing this. Urso's natural dexterity complements this skill.
