Upon the Stratosphere

[Alleria Windrunner]

The Stratosphere, Empress Windrunner's personal capital ship slowly moved toward the planet Coruscant. She stood on a raised platform, her Millitary Commander Marus Ginn stood next to her. The view out of the window was of Coruscant.

"Beautiful isn't it?" She says.

 

[Matt]

*He stood there looking not at the sight sbut the countless peoples walking past him...he had never seen non-humans before and eyed them with suspecion rather than interest..he was slightly surprised when the empress talked to him directly*

"If you say so my empress"

 

[Alleria Windrunner]

"No need to be so formal...Marcus She syas adding emphasis to his name.

She smiles at her much taller Millitary Commander.

 

[Matt]

*He smiles...or not so much smile as his mouth becomes less thin trying to stay proper*

"May I ask why we came here..er....miss empress"

 

[Alleria Windrunner]

She chuckles.

"We are here because of diplomacy....we are trying to become friends with this galaxy and Marcus call me Alleria." She says.

ooc: You do relize we are still on the captial ship....

 

[Matt]

*He nods and looks out at the massive traffic forming around th epllanet*

"Why do we need to go out into the gaaxy though...we are perfectly fine in our small part..."

[Alleria Windrunner]

She taps her chin.

"As they say power in numbers..." She says with a big smile on her face.

 

[Matt]

"It's not my place to question you empress...I am sorry"

*He bows his head slightly*

 

[Alleria Windrunner]

"It's okay...you have the right...to question me" She says turn and she begin to walk away. In her clumsiness she trips and fall flat on her face.

 

[Matt]

*He rushes forward and takes her arms gently and brings her back up...all his might trying not to hurt her remotley*

"Are you ok empress?"

 

[Alleria Windrunner]

Alleria's face is bright red. She turns her head away from Marcus.

"Yes, Marcus, I'm fine." She says pushing him away.

Clearly, Marcus could tell something was bothering her.

 

[Matt]

*He looked arkwardly at his feet as she pushe dhim away..it must of been him actually touching her...what a fool he was..he wasn't supposed to help her up..*

"I'm sorry for touching you empress..I shouldn't of been so bold"

 

[Alleria Windrunner]

She rolled her eyes.

"How could he not notice...." She thought to herself.

She sighs.

"No...Commander Ginn...you have nothing to apologize about." She spoke in a frustrated tone.

She walks over to her seat and sits. Marcus' seat was placed next to her's.

 

[Matt]

*He looked at her slightly dumbfounded...Maybe he should change the subject...he sat donw in his seat rather arkwardly...he didn;t like this..he didn't feel inferior to the empress in any way and he didn't like it...*

"It feels very strange being so far from the homeworld...Do you agree empress?"

 

[Alleria Windrunner]

She closes her eyes for a few seconds.

"Marcus...why do you insist on making idle chit-chat..." She says throguh clenched teeth.

Marcus, has known the Empress for a long time and knows that he has never ever seen her act this way before.

 

[Matt]

*He looks apoligeticly at her....he didn't know what was wrong*

"I'm sorry empress....You just seem...um..strange today..."

 

[Alleria Windrunner]

She clears her throat.

"Marcus...how long have we known each other?" She asks.

 

[Matt]

*A slightly blank look comes over his face as he thinks about it for a moment*

"Not..sure...a few years or maybe..Not sure on the exact date..why?"
