I think the suggestion was put forth because if you have the time to post repeatedly in other threads in the story than you have the time to check the faction boards and say "Yes I'm still around"

EDIT: Actually, I can't change the roster either. It may be my post, but the thread's been locked, so even I don't have access to it.

In other words, thanks to Syn, nothing can be changed or reused unless the admins copy the content and PM it to you guys. Also, I would suggest doing so, so you have the info somewhere, because I have a suspicion this subboard may not last. With so much of the faction destroyed, it may not be allowed a subboard. However, that's only my own opinion and could be wrong. Whatever happens is up to the admins.
