Unofficial Mission

Hey guys, I just posted a profile for my second character. I'm now rolling with a Sith and a Mandalorian. Was pondering taking my Mando, a mercenary, on a job that's purely made up and isn't an actual faction mission. It's just for fun, story and character development.

Basically, Vintar was given a job to track down three NPCs tied up in an illegal deal that went south. He has to figure out their involvement in the deal and deal with them accordingly. I won't provide any more details beyond that yet and will wait for the IC.

Really just looking for anyone who wants to become involved either directly or indirectly. I was probably going to start out at some club in some city (debating where, maybe Coruscant? Okay to be cliche?), searching for the first individual (who may be at the club, but Vintar is there for intel as well) and maybe someone else's character is assigned to the job alongside Vintar, or maybe your character is working for someone else, or maybe you just happen to be in the club when things go down. Could end up in a shootout or something.

I'm being vague because I'm not much of a planner. I have no idea if triggers will be getting pulled or not, no idea who these NPCs are or what they eat for breakfast, and neither does Vintar, keeping things rather dynamic. I wing it as I go. Just let me know if you're interested and I should have a thread up by tomorrow night. I'm a fan of Open roleplays beyond any others so I'll definitely mark the thread as such. Expect themes of action, adventure, serious business and not so serious business.

I have just spoken with my commander and he said it shouldn't be an issue at all. Would it be fitting for your non-pvp hutt crime family member to be at a nightclub?

HMMMMM then how about you OWN the club? A shady club of sorts. Would make sense given the particulars of mah mission.

The thread is great I'm wondering what type of work your mercenary does. I have a few ideas for rolepley and I was just wondering are most your character's missions attacking somebody straight out or information gathering then attacking?

I call him "mercenary" in the sense that he's willing to do just about any job that pays well for what it is, rather than "mercenary" in the sense that he strictly hires himself out to fight for an army or any such armed force in battle.

So, that being said, Vintar, in his years, has at one time or another, with both success and failure, served as an actual mercenary, assassin, bounty hunter, trainer/advisor, sentry, bodyguard, escort, transporter, hijacker, robber, kidnapper, debt collector, enforcer, vandal, arsonist, smuggler, salvager, informant, spy, arms dealer, drug dealer, cage fighter, interrogator, negotiator, executioner and probably some less savory roles.

EDIT: He can straight up attack or gather intel then attack depending on the circumstances.
