Trodai awoke to find himself chained beside a unknown man, both had been beaten for a few days but not seen each other, only heard it all as they were assaulted and pummelled, electrified and all manner of torture. Yet they resisted and among their crews been the only ones to survive the horrors. The Force stolen by some strange device carried by leader. Ancient looking. The facade nd beside Trodai was Imperial by his look, given the red armour. Equal of strength in the Force too. So probably a Imperial Knight. Yet he also felt something else, the man was filled with apparent rage from what he could feel. Potential for more. Both were dangling in chains, thick chains. Looking about, he wasn't sure where he was currently, a unknown pirate planet was all he knew, uncharted. He had fallen victim when trying to look for artefacts and been shot down unexpectedly. Trodai found he had a sore head from when the ship had crashed and he had been forced to fight only to be heavily outnumbered and outgunned. Yet still he had fought and been stunned as a result by multiple shots taking at least a dozen with him beforehand.

Which explained the extra security around the pair. A total of six speaking a language neither would understand.

They had already shocked Trodai a few times for fun, and he had noticed they seemed like pirates. Organised, advanced and yet primitive at the same time. Inside Trodai was a torrent of hate, he swore once he was free which was only a matter of time, he would kill these first. Painfully. He could see his lightsaber but not reach it. Just as the knight, they were placed in a weapon lock up with three more guards. Trodai looked up, regaining consciousness just as the human did.

He whispered to the imperial beside him, so as to not draw too much attention from the guards.

"So looks like I'm not the only one who fell for their ambush. Clever trick I admit. Yet they underestimate their quarry."

His eyes blinked open bit by bit— vision fuzzy— location unknown. With hardly any memory of the past few days. All he could recollect was the bridge of a ship, a blinding explosion, then lights out. This is why he hated flying and space. Shit like this didn't happen on solid ground. At least then he could do something about it. Unless it was a nuke, then perhaps not. But at that point, there wasn't much of a point trying anyway.

Tannon dragged his gaze at his presumed captors, his green eyes filled with nothing but utter contempt and hatred. It was slowly coming back to him. These filth ambushed the crew he was a part of, then they took him— chained him. All others died in the initial blast. How a band of ragtag scum took a full Imperial Knight prisoner, and killed everyone else, was beyond him. It was humiliating. And if there was one thing he didn't deal well with— it was humiliation.

He glanced over to the man beside him, scoffing at his words. "Not clever enough if they left me alive." He said out loud and spat in front of a guard, making sure they've all heard him. Unaware that his prison buddy was also more than a mere man.

The Knight readied himself for whatever torture they'd throw at him for that comment, before opening his rowdy mouth again. "I hope they've heard of Korda Six." An empty threat. But it served as a reminder that even after getting downed, the Empire still had a bite. That he still had a bite.

That said, could these morons even understand basic? It didn't matter much, their pain would be no less excruciating once he was out. Vengeance for his fellow Imperials lost on that ship, and to prove these scum an important lesson: Never leave an Imperial Knight alive.

For now, his eyes raked the room looking for any opportunity. If somehow the man beside him acted first, Tannon would do so too.

Trodai smirked a little at the comment, approving silently. The apparent imperial was perhaps right about that...perhaps about leaving both alive. Now they had sealed their fate of least any who got in his way. As he tried making his away out. But not before making sure the one responsible paid for it he hoped. He listened as the human continued, mentioning Korda Six. Trodai recalled hearing about it. And was somewhat impressed, it could be admired from a distance. A work of art in a sense.

"Indeed. Not clever at all for leaving you or me, I fear they may regret that decision soon enough." a guard approached smacking both in the stomach with a baton, apparently some did know basic...Trodai grumbled as he recovered "He will be the first." he said under his breath as the guard spoke "Be quiet. Boss will see you soon." In the Force, Trodai sensed something about the one next to him, beyond the fact he was an Imperial Knight. This one seemed darker. He could feel his rage and need for vengeance. The need to avenge his humiliation.

Trodai could relate, he felt the same way and so he spoke, whispering "If we want out of here I suggest working together...I wouldn't usually with someone I might consider a rival I guess...but call it a exception. Who are you by the way? If we must make a plan better to know each other a little. I am Trodai."

He would not reveal too much, but a name was hardly criminal. He waited until it was clear to speak, keeping his voice low.

"You are like me...kind of aren't you? I can feel it, you have the gift of the Force. By your dress I would guess a Imperial Knight. Alone we might did but together we have a chance to escape and find a ship. I suggest a diversion, wait for the guard to come again. I think we can kind of move...and whatever they were using is not near us, I can feel the Force. Can't you feel it too?"

He thought "I'm going to try something. I'll try free you and then you do me...I hope we can trust each other...then the fun begins. We may not trust each other entirely, but I am willing to put aside usual feelings for a mutual benefit under the circumstances if you are. Vengeance will be ours for the taking against these scum. See if you turn around a bit, I'll try loosen the hands, although it might hurt."

With that Trodai focused, attempting to use the Force to break the chains binding the humans hands so he could assist him. And hopefully have the favour returned, that he understood that a temporary partnership was more beneficial to escape the planet. Or he hoped he would. Yet he knew no-one could be truly trusted. A lesson learnt recently.

Rival, huh? Admitting something like that was an interesting way to earn someone's trust. Not that Tannon had much to give in the first place. And for now, he stayed silent. Refusing to reveal his identity any more than his attire already did. Even so, he hardly had a choice in this case but to go along with whatever plan Trodai proposed.

That said, Tannon did take a serious gripe with some of the stuff the man was saying. He scoffed when Trodai referred to the Force as a gift. In his eyes, it was anything but. And that sounded an awful lot like the cultist mindset of the Jedi and the Sith.

Referring to his armour as a dress also prompted him to raise a brow. Seriously? Dress? Surely he could've thought of a better word to describe a Knight's armour. It was a such a miniscule non-issue... Alas, Tannon was nothing if not petty. But the worst offence was suggesting they were alike. No way he would let that slide without correcting the man.

And yet, he reluctantly agreed with a nod and whispered. "Do it. But just so you know, I ain't letting what you just said slide." Even now, he had to make sure his silence was not seen as a sign of weakness.

He closed his eyes momentarily, feeling the Force pouring into the chains holding him. In unison with Trodai's focus, Tannon reached out to the force, steeling himself for the oncoming bloodbath. With a loud clang, his chains shattered, sending a jolt of pain down his wrists and arm. The Knight winced at the sensation, but it was good enough. He lunged forward, pulling an unassuming Rodian guard into a chokehold. A perfect shield.

Returning the favour, Tannon focused on Trodai's chains, though with far less care. One shattered at the mount, leaving the Sith with an effective metallic whip locked onto his wrist. The other, snapped off in a similar fashion as Tannon's own, freeing Trodai's arm.

Frantic and disoriented, two of the guards charged at the now free Sith. Another opened fire on the Imperial Knight, covering his trusty meat shield in blaster burns. The remaining two stationed in the back of the cell made a run for the exit, in hopes of calling for help.

Trodai simply smirked at the reply, he expected it somewhat. He had felt the nature of the human imperial, even if he denied it, but such were how some were. They denied what they were even as it stared them in the face, besides he found the pettiness of it amusing at most. He knew far more petty people among the Sith. He also found it amusing how in a way he appeared to be putting his chest up, attempting to show no weakness.

Yet it was plain to see for one who knew how to find such weaknesses and exploit them if need be. But he had no current need or want, his concerns pay with getting off the planet.

"Fair enough. Just remember that goes both ways."

And so a begrudging alliance was temporarily formed, a truce crafted from unusual circumstances. Trodai observed as the imperial knight choked a Rodian, pulling them. For a Imperial Knight they were acting more like a Sith he noted, which amused him more. His point proven even if the human didn't realise it. Although he sighed a little when his own chains were only half broken, forcing him to improvise with it. He noted two trying to run for the exit, which posed a choice.

Take care of the two in front of him or stop the two reaching the exit to raise an alarm for the others.

He chose both options instead, whipping the chain around he tried to smash it hard into their face, towards the jaw, using it as a large chain mace, hopefully breaking bones as they were slammed into the side of the wall and their faces were mangled beyond recognising. He continued and focused on the two running, using the Force he tried to pull them back into the room and not escape their fate. They would suffer a fate far worse. He needed answers, one of them might provide them and so one would live only to wish he had died.

He called out "We need one alive. We need answers about this place, their leader and what that thing was they used."
