It appears as though many of the Loyalist role-players have lost their motivation and with a severe lack of leadership, the faction itself doesn't appear to be going anywhere anytime soon. Most of the Loyalist role-players joined at the time of the schism or immediatly afterward and the select few who led the faction at that time are either inactive or no longer interested in the faction... you didn't start this war. You didn't choose it. You inherited it.

Loyalists and Separatists... this is your chance to show which direction you want the Mandalorians to go. Do you want to see this civil war role-played out to its fullest extent or do you want to see the Clans settle their feud quickly and reunite?

EDIT: If you don't have a Mandalorian character, don't bother voting.

I'd like to continue the civil war as I think it's an excellent RP opportunity, but at the same time the Loyalist faction is stagnant and unable to be an effective opposition.

I said this in the admin board but I see only two courses of action.

Whoever becomes Mandalore or is Mandalore should ask the seps what would need to happen for them to come back into the fold, and do it.

The other course of action is a war that will leave the Mandalorians as a whole weaker.

It just requires a pragmatic Mandalore.

And I pressed the wrong button. Ignore that one for the war...

I agree that there are so many great role-play opportunities within this civil war plot, but I also recognize that the Loyalists cannot move forward under the circumstances. They are struggling both IC and OOC. If we don't work something out now, both sides will be stalled because of the other. I think our best option now is to figure out a good IC reason for both factions to reunite. The Loyalists have main faction status, but few active members and no leadership. The Seps have the majority of the active members, leadership, and overall stability, but can't move forward without main faction status. We need eachother. IC and OOC, the Loyalists are falling apart.

I think the best way to fix this IC is to role-play the complete collapse of the "Loyalist" faction. If they cease to be Loyalists, a unified movement, the Separatists have no enemy left to target. The enemy they were seeking out has always been the degradation of the Mandalorian way of life; of Mandalorian values and tradition... if the Loyalists cease to exist and those warriors return to their clans, to their families and homes, then they abandon the Loyalist cause. Honestly, I don't think any of the current Loyalist characters even realize what that cause is anymore... like I've been saying, they inherited it. The active Loyalists I've role-played with are not the enemies Corden sought after in the beginning; those enemies have died or abandoned the faction. There's no reason for us to keep fighting.

I have to agree with ending the war...I have Viirro in two separate minor battles because no one else either is WILLING to fight in them and risk their character (understandable) or is too busy to fight in the war (also understandable) but I am personally not willing to fight a one man war :P

This whole situation is not new. The stagnation has been going on in some form or another for a long, long time now. Now, even this latest attempt at revitalization is being stagnated by inactivity. How do we solve it? The same way I like to solve every problem- superior fire.

Blast the Mandalorians back into activity, and do so with unadulterated violence.

Things are coming to a head here. We've got real leaders, they just haven't taken up the mantle yet ;)

You're just the kind of people we're looking for. Fighting the good fight, just because it's there

I'm all for the MCW. I still stand by my previous points. We Rp out the current missions to show people that we are serious about continuing this. Once people see that we are serious, we can create more missions, further the story of the MCW and Rp out more missions. This'll repeat until we've done a bunch of Role plays and a new Mandalore has been chosen IC.

Normally I would agree but as you have seen loyaltist volunteers for combat missions have been limited...I mean our characters are going to be butting heads twice in two separate threads...this war will become a cold war unless a solution is found ASAP

What I am hoping for is that the Mandalorian Clans are reunited under Corden Vencu's(IC) banner. He would then in turn declare war on the Jedi/Republic as a show of good faith for the services that the Sith/Chiss gave during the MCW.

I posted that idea in another thread. It could actually work quite well. It would also add a layer of desperation to the Jedi as they not only have to deal with the Chiss and the Sith but the Mandalorians as well.

EDIT: A loyalist would basically cast Dani Marren aside and offer peace to Corden(IC).

Just as a heads up guys and gals, the Seps and Imperials are quite tightly knit, so keep that in mind.

Personally, I think we should unify, cause the loyalists really don't have much to offer for a war at this point.

Exactly I was going to just have my loyaltist eventually die if the war continues...seeing all it is now is a power struggle

Unity. This Civil War isn't fun. It isn't interesting. It is just here, and like Corden said a lot of us didn't have a say in it starting and we simply inherited this mess. If I had been Mandalore when all this was beginning to happen, I would have worked hard to make sure it never followed through. <.<

On that first point I noticed the thread where the Seps ally with the Imperials and Chiss never finished. What are the Imps offering us besides moral support in the civil war?

I think it would be safe to assume that the Sith/Chiss are offering us material support as well as moral. Troops, supplies, raw materials etc...

Why would it be a joke? Mandos got kicked out in the first place because they refused to ally and were taking up space. It won't just be handed over for free, but it's definitely on the table.
