♠ THEME ♠
Plenty of the planet was uninhabited. But there were still plenty of cities dotting it surface. One in particular held the labratories of Bellica Works Incorporated. Today, like the previous day, had been spent reconnoitering the location they would be infiltrating. But it had been pretty boring as all stake outs tended to be at one point or another.

Koil got off his borrowed speeder bike and headed inside the building that Reyna and he had setup in as their temporary head quarters. It was abandoned, run down, and far from ideal. But it was comfortable enough to keep them safe and protected from the elements. It had electricity and also kept prying eyes away.

Their ships had been stashed around the edge of town. There was a few hundred miles of territory further out that was the testing grounds for BWI. It was there that Koil had originally thought they might strike but after spending the previous day observing that location the Spicy and Silent Badger had discovered the place that actually had the important information was here in a moderately populated city. That made things a little more complicated but so far the two Mandalorians had adapted.

"Did I miss anything?" Koil was not wearing his beskar'gam. He had gone out to get food at a corner store making sure nobody had seen him. The store clerk had not even seen him since he had technically stolen the convenience store food. If he had been seen he did not want the visual to say 'hey Mandalorian over here' and attract attention.

Reyna had already seen him with his helmet off once before when they had spent nearly a month on Atrer III. Back then it had also just been the two of them. Give two people next to nothing and just their company, add a bit of time and they would end up either killing eachother or becoming close. Sufficed to say, the Spicy Badger had yet to kill Koil.

He pulled a fresh cigara pack from the bag and ripped it open. Lighting it up he took a piece of unripe fruit and an energy drink. The click hiss of the container opened was followed by a satisfied exhale. The beverage tasted better than most of the food probably. Koil had to be careful and make sure to eat. At times like these he just stayed awake watching his targets, forgetting to eat or sleep in proper shifts. But that was why Reyna was here. Whatever he felt was good for Reyna and what she needed in terms of food and sustenance reminded him to also take care of himself.
Wish I did not need Reyna to remind me to eat properly

Information gathering was never really something Reyna found interesting in even the slightest. Of course, that didn't mean it wasn't possibly the most important part of a successful op - but by the gods there couldn't be an activity she found more positively boring. She was a bit different from her partner in that regard. Reyna was pretty sure that Koil could probably stake out for weeks without even batting an eye. Maybe his name should have been The Staring Badger.

The cigarette butts were beginning to pile pretty high in the little dish that Reyna had been using as an ashtray. Next to it was a small glass tumbler half full with a deep amber liquid. Some people drank caf to stay alert on stakeouts, Reyna chose whiskey. Her stomach had been rumbling for the past few hours, though it was only just starting to get to that point where the rumbles would turn to random pangs of pain.

As if being summoned on cue, Koil came through the door of their little hovel with food in hand. "Not much," She said, shrugging her shoulders as she walked over to dive into whatever sundries Koil had scrounged up in this piss-ant town they found themselves in. Reyna grabbed some jerky and an energy drink of her own, cracking it open and pouring some straight into her glass of whiskey.

"They really aren't doing much in the way of changing their security routines as far as I can tell. Must not think they'd be getting much attention out here in the middle of nowhere. Might actually help us out putting their facility in town like this." Reyna took a big gulp of her new energy-whiskey mixture. It tasted like absolute ass but the way she felt her heart already start speeding up, it was definitely doing the trick. "We get our hands on some Bellica uniforms and credentials and we could probably get in there pretty easy if you ask me."

Reyna shrugged her shoulders again as she took a bit of jerky. "Whatcha think?"

It was on trips like these that Koil realized he tended to develop bat habits. On occasion he would have a cigara but in this building with Reyna he had begun smoking more than he cared to admit. He sniffed, wondering if he was going to get a cold from sticking in this dingy place. If his nose was already clogged then he probably would not be able to tell he smelled like cigarette smoke. It was strange, whenever he smelled the smoke on other people it was never pleasant. But Koil never seemed to mind once he started smoking though.

It was hot in the room. The place had electricity but the cooling system was not working as well as he would have liked it to be. If he kept wearing a jacket or outer wear then he would just sweat through it all. So for now he wore nothing but a black t-shirt and some pants. His heavily tattooed arms reached for for an energy drink as well. The cool condensation a welcome sensation. A piece of fruit accompanied the beverage just because he recently read an article about scurvy recently that frankly had him paranoid.

For now he took over in the spot Reyna had been occupying and squinted through some of the mounted macrobinoculars they had set up. A recorder also had been setup just in case they needed to replay anything for verification or wanted to review something. "Most people get detered just by presence. Chances are if one of their company's inspectors came along for a review they would change up their act or get in trouble." He answered to Reyna's observation about the security.

"They probably don't know the extent of what their even guarding. As a result...no concern and their fall to complacency." A hint of judgement in his voice before he gulped down half of his drink. "That could work. Though I would rather not walk in front of their cameras without a better disguise. They have anything that covers the face?" The Alor tried to find a type of security guard or maintenance person that had a face covering. People who worked on electrical wiring, plumbing, they always had access. Nobody wants to stop a plumber from unclogging the toilet. People tended to like that sort of thing being in working order.

Taking a big bite out of the lack luster fruit the Echani stood up and grabbed his jetpack he had disconnected from his armor for the time being . Staying in a place like this tended to make people soft. The War Councilor was not about to dull his abilities by sitting in a chair with some macrobinoculars doing nothing but small talk and eating convenience store food. After a moment he held the eight kilogram device and used it as a makeshift weight, slowly curling it and lowering it as he watched the pattern. "You gonna take a nap or something?" He asked Reyna without looking over his shoulder though he knew after she had just drank an energy drink that was not likely going to happen. Still, he felt like he should offer.

Reyna listened to Koil talk though admittedly, she was doing so someone absentmindedly. The sudden arrival of food made her realize just how hungry she actually was and Reyna couldn't help but keep most of her focus on devouring the jerky greedily. She did nod her head at one of Koil's comments, agreeing with the sentiment. "Complacency kills," She said, mouth half full of meat.

Having finished up the food she'd grabbed and slamming what was left of her energy-liquor, Reyna found herself contemplating what they could do to get inside with their identities hidden. There was a myriad of options perhaps, although how feasible they were Reyna wasn't sure. Shrugging her shoulders, she figured the most obvious option might be the easiest one to boot. "People usually don't question an exterminator. Could pose as a couple vermin wranglers, wear full masks and jumpsuits. That should keep your pretty face of their cameras." Reyna wasn't really sure why she said that last part. There was probably a reason that medical professionals told you not to mix alcohol and energy drinks.

It was then that Reyna realized she'd been staring at Koil intently for perhaps a little too long, although one couldn't really blame her. The Councilor was literally flexing in front of her for fun, and there wasn't much Reyna liked more than a fit Mandalorian flexing his muscles.

"A nap?" She asked, an eyebrow raised curiously. Reyna couldn't help but think it weird that Koil would essentially offer her some time off from their mission to sleep. Sleep was a luxury that you could rarely afford on assignment, and she almost instantly said yes. Except.. she was a little drunk and maybe feeling a little.. ambitious, so Reyna said something else instead. "Sure I'll go.. but only if you come with me." She flashed Koil a coy smile and batted her eyes a little, something that could just as easily be explained away as a joke or taken as seriously as Reyna hoped Koil would take it. She had been interested in him for some time now but had always been too slow to act.

Perhaps now was just the right place, the right time, and the right mixture of booze and Red Mudhorn. If not, oh well, Reyna could take rejection... or at least she figured she could, anyway.

Exterminator huh? He thought to himself as he continued to raise and lower the improvised exercise equipment. Guess I'll have to read up on what kind of vermin are on this planet. Dianoogas are everywhere though right? Yeah, that could work. Everybody hated those things anyways. Nobody would probably question them and the fact he would get to wear a decent disguise for handling dangerous creatures would help as well. Reyna was good at coming up with these sort of things and was certainly worthy of the Supercommando rank, if not more.

When she responded to his inquiry about getting sleep Koil thought she was going to refuse. The repeating of his question made it sound like she was going to come back with some quip like 'I don't need sleep' or some kind of witty response. But he was surprised to hear her answer. Mostly because he was not entirely sure if she was joking or not.

He stopped moving the jetpack in the raised position before looking slowly over toward her. The Echani's red irises looked her up and down, trying to figure out of she were pulling his leg. Lowering his hands he set the jetpack down lightly and leaned it up against the wall. Even if she was joking or actually just meant sleep that was fine. He was not so worried about it turning out to be a prank anyways. Reyna was one of the few people that had seen him without his helmet outside of his direct family. "Alright" He said finally.

Turning away from her he double checked to make sure the recorder was running that was pointed out the window. If they were both going to be occupied for awhile he did not want to miss anything important. They were still on mission but in this case he was willing to take a break and enjoy the beautiful woman's company.

The man turned back towards her and pulled off his shirt. The action revealed the plethora of ink he had acquired over the years. A few he had even done himself. Several tattoos shown badgers and other house iconography. On the inside of his right torso he had recently acquired a tattoo with the date of the Battle of Mandalore. It also had in Mandalorian runes the phrase 'never forget'. The scar from being electrocuted by Darth Tagus shared some of the space. Koil did not have many scars thankfully. It took an exceptional enemy to get through his armor and cause permanent damage that kolto could not heal.

He kept his pants on, for now. "You should know..." Koil paused in his sentence as he walked towards Reyna. The fair skinned man had a few centimeters on her and forced him to look slightly down at her. Once he stopped in front of her he would finish the warning. "...I'm not really feeling tired." He hoped she understood what he meant by that.

For a short moment, Renya was half convinced that Koil was walking over to their surveillance camera to turn it around and face it towards the room with the bed. She had to say - before she realized that he was just being normal and making sure it was still running to work while they weren't - that she was surprised with herself a bit. She probably wouldn't have even cared if that's what Koil had wanted to do. Oh well. Perhaps another time and in a place not so.. like this place.

Reyna watched with unabashed captivation as Koil peeled off his shirt and revealed the tapestry underneath. Although his scars were few, they told the story of a warrior unafraid to face true danger, and a man unwavering in his loyalty to Mandalore. Reyna knew the date that was stamped into Koil's skin and could read the runes that accompanied it. It said a lot about him as a person, and Reyna liked all that it said.

As Koil started speaking, Reyna would make a judgement call - although she figured there wasn't much risk, considering. Before Koil could breathe the words that he wasn't exactly tired, he'd find Reyna pushing herself up on her toes a bit to make up for their difference in height, and pressing her lips onto his. Wrapping her arms around Koil's waist, Reyna would kiss him for a few moments before pulling away and flashing Koil the smallest of smiles.

Given that the house they were in had already been somewhat uncomfortably warm, Reyna wasn't wearing much in the terms of clothing to begin with. Pulling off her own shirt to match Koil, there would be nothing preventing him from seeing her naked body. She didn't sport the same style of tattoos or scars, but her tight muscles and flat stomach would still showcase that she too had a body that was used to war, used to taking punishment and persevering.

Grabbing Koil by the buckle of his pants, Reyna would lead him further into the one make-shift bedroom that the hovel had and pull him onto the bed, continuing her kissing from before. Things would only escalate from there as Reyna removed the rest of her clothes and would help Koil do the same.

Fade to black.. for now

Fade back into focus

Koil sat, propped up on the head board of the bed still naked save for the sheets covering his decency. The sun had fallen since he had last looked out the window but for now he looked out at it like a casual observer instead of an operative on a mission. His eyes moved to look over at the figure of Reyna. Her curves still discernible in the dying light.

Taking a calming breath he moved to his side of the bed. The cool ground contrasted with the warm air made even hotter in the wake of the passionate moments the two Mandalorians had shared. Koil's naked body left the sheets of the bed, unashamed of being without armor in the moment. He grabbed his underwear and put it on but nothing else. It had been clear in the moments following their heated exchange that Reyna had been relatively inexperienced but Koil had made sure to make sure she had not felt inadequate. If she asked, he would let he know quite the contrary.

In the following moments the Echani rustled through one of the supply bags he had brought back. One hand grabbed a bottle of water. The other held an energy drink. Making his way around the bed he sat at the foot of it and opened each of them before setting them beside the bed for Reyna to choose when she woke.

She did need sleep. Both of them did especially after what had just happened. But Koil knew with a little caffeine he would be able to deal with a few hours of time awake just fine. Sex was not something new to him and he did not want to ruin anything for Reyna's first time.

Whether she remained asleep for a few hours or not was up to her. Koil had meant the actual offer of sleep when he had originally said it. They were still on a mission for now. For now he would get up and review the recording of the security movements the two of them had missed while they had been otherwise preoccupied with one another's bodies. Sitting down in front of the window as he had before when Reyna had first posed the question of their intimacy Koil began going through the recording of the time they had spent enthralled with one another.

Reyna wasn't even really sure how much time had passed. She felt Koil slide out from beneath the sheets, making a point to sneak a glance at his naked form before he pulled on a touch of clothing. She had no idea whether or not she'd ever get to do again what they had just done, or what it really meant for her and Koil's overall relationship, but for now that thought wasn't really at the front of her mind. At the end of the day, no matter how much she had enjoyed what had happened between them, they were still here to accomplish something.. and perhaps it was simply time to get back to work.

Feeling unexpectedly refreshed all things considered, Reyna took the water Koil had placed on the bedside table and downed three fourths of it in one go. A sigh of contentment escaping her lips, she too got out from underneath the sheets. It took a moment of looking around for Reyna to find her clothes, but eventually she did and while pulling on her shirt she walked over towards Koil as he was beginning to review the tape.

"Don't think you're gonna find any sudden revelations there," She said running her fingers through her hair to shake out the tangled mess of bead head it had become. Spotting an opened pack of cigarettes on the table, Reyna grabbed one and lit it. "If you wanna cut out the subtle route we could just break in, though we'd probably be dealing with more blasters that way." Thinking it over, Reyna gave Koil a shrug. "It's between that and the posing as exterminators as far as our best bets are concerned, I think."

Getting an idea, Renya went and found her datapad and started looking up some things on the holonet. After a few minutes she found what she wanted and tossed it over to Koil. It was a holonet site for some place called Dale's Dead Bug. "This place does same day appointments. We could get one in the morning, jack their gear when they get here, and mosey on over to the facility."

Putting out her cigarette, Reyna shrugged again. "I'm good with either option, so I'll leave the choice up to you. What do you think?"

"You never know." He replied simply and continued to zip through some of the data. But as he did so he learned that Reyna was correct. There had been nothing of note in the recordings but he had to check to be thorough.

"I'd prefer to not let them know we are there. It gets harder to cover our tracks if they know we left them in the first place." If they went in without having to deal with direct opposition like a fire fight then they had better chances of completing the mission more effectively. Getting shot at tended to be an added distraction.

Turning to look at Reyna he wondered what she had to say in response. But Koil saw she had quickly buried herself in her own device. He caught the datapad, looking at her with a cocked eyebrow as if wanting an explanation. The Echani would listen as she explained a bit.

When she finished he would nod his head. "hmm, not bad. Not bad at all. We still can't let these bug guys see us though. They'll report their equipment stolen later the same day probably and question the people we take it all from. As long as we do that I think we're golden." Koil would walk over to where the cigarette pack had been set and pulled one out for himself. Lighting it up he took a deep drag on it before letting the smoke curl out of his mouth and get sucked up into his nose before being blown back out again. Yeah, I need to ease up on these.
