With the galaxy slowly but surely falling into chaos, an Exile sees an opportunity to expand his influence and power by proposing a mission to the Exile Warlords. The objective is quite simple, to gain a foothold on the Shadow Planet of Umbara and occupy a Doonium mine for building star ships or for trading purposes.
1. The Umbarans have a small space station in orbit of their planet. Resistance will be as heavy as we would expect from a small space station. Two or more Exiles will have to infiltrate the space station, sneak into the command center and deactivate the station’s defenses and then fight their way back out so that the remaining Exiles can stealthily land on the planet. 2. The ideal location for the Exile stronghold lies very close to a remote Umbaran village. To remain hidden to the Umbarans the village must be destroyed, and its population enslaved or exterminated. Our spies on the planet report a small militia of Elite Umbaran warriors in the village, they will have to be dealt with.
3. Umbara is known for its Doonium production, this precious metal is used for constructing the hulls for starships. In order to strengthen and expand our fleet it is necessary that we get a hold of one of these mines. The objective is to take a large Doonium mine which is controlled by a private Umbaran miner. Our forces will attack the mine and kill the off-world security forces and take the owner of the mine hostage to serve as our puppet. (This thread is also open, especially for Cartel Members who might have been hired to protect the mine.)
4. Umbara is known for its dangerous wildlife, the area around the stronghold has to be secured to allow for safe construction. Therefore, we need several able Exiles to hunt down the most dangerous predators in the area and destroy them and their nests. 5. Nerovec who has organized this attack has a personal objective of his own. His personal side objective is to secure a cave system strong in the dark side for his own personal hideout, the cave is currently home to a large dark side cult of Umbarans who would need to be cleared out. The mission will be dangerous as there are rumors that the cultist leader is strong in the force and carries a light saber. (Nero would have hired Cartel Members for this job or tricked some gullible Exiles into helping him complete his objective. Any loot your character finds is for them to keep.)
