Born on Alderaan in the year 6907, Tyrn could always feel the Force. It was something that he'd grown up with, a companion that he'd grown to know, and know quite well. Well enough that his parents contacted the Jedi when he was eight, after much confrontation with Tyrn over the prospect. When Master Bairun arrived, however, the boy had resolved himself against being charmed into the Order. He neither wanted nor needed their rules, regulations, and all-encompassing peace. Bairun only made things worse when, in a bid to show Tyrn the boons of the Jedi, he attempted to seize the boy's presence and thus his emotions.
Young Tauren, in a flash of indignation and anger, broke out of the hold with a Force Pulse. Knocked to the floor, Bairun was shocked. While it had not been a strong grip, it had nevertheless come from a Master. To break it, and further to knock him down after...he knocked the lad unconscious and told the parents that he would need to bring him to the Jedi for the sake of his soul. Having already been concerned, they agreed readily. On the way to the space-port, though, Tyrn regained consciousness. Deciding to wait, he feigned sleep, waiting until the Jedi went to collect him from the back seat to kick him in the face, empowering the attack with the Force.
Bairun, nose broken and knocked again to the ground by this kid, lost sight of the child. Standing up in worry, he looked out for Tyrn, finding only the dense crowd of people. Tyrn found his way onto a ship headed for the Unexplored Regions with some mercenaries. He'd been hired, but their leader had also taken pity on the clearly terrified kid. Making the trip without mishap or misfortune, the lad found himself on the planet without a clue as to what he should do.
With such a Force presence as he had, young Tauren was quickly found by the Jedi Exiles and brought into their ranks, where he found a freedom and a life, if a little wild for him. Still, he decided he would stay with them, and so he did. Knight Tauren was brought fully into their fold and now acts for Empress Andraste. -
Wiry and of medium build, Tyrn is not one that combat suits. Though he has an athletic look, it is merely from a fast metabolism and a couple of daily exercise routines
