Tyran Eldras

COMPOSITION AND APPEARANCE:
Eye Color: Brown
Height: 5’ 4”
Weight: 120lbs.
Age: 20
Hair Color: Brown
Skin Color: White.
Apparel: A plain brown and white Jedi tunic, a Jedi Brown Cloak, and utility belt. He may be seen in regular street clothes (plain tunic) or seen in rag-tag clothes (shown above).
Weapons: Lightsaber and the Force.
Other equipment: a multi-purpose tool, data-pad, emergency-med kit, and various types of food and water capsules in case of emergencies.

PERSONALITY:

Tyran Eldras has always been a smart child, showing signs of his incredible intelligence at the age of one, being able to talk and put building blocks together to create structurally sound bridges. Great modesty comes with his intelligence rather than arrogance for his abilities. The Jedi Teachings have instilled a great temperance in Tyran to appreciate his ability rather than abuse it. Tyran always meditates on problems to methodically and carefully find an answer rather than rushing through things. With this, Tyran has also learned to value all things equally and not to judge others as well.

Although many believe that those who are exceedingly smart are anti-social, Tyran was blessed with being friendly and talkative. Tyran is an exception to the stereotype of having an amazing analytical brain comes and being non-talkative. He is the type of person who shares his intellect and talks with others about it rather than keep it to himself and be arrogant because of his above average intelligence.

Tyran also judges everything through factors, placing probability and statistics to make most of his decisions rather than through his gut instinct and his heart. There hasn’t been a day of his life he couldn’t remember using statistics and variable to solve an answer that he has had.

LIKES AND DISLIKES:
Tyran has always found that mechanics and his creativity have led him to good and bad hobbies. A bit of a trouble-maker himself, Tyran has set off the Jedi Alarm system on occasion through his creation of a remote control data pad which gives him access to most of the electronic systems in the Jedi Temple. Tyran’s intelligence has led him into a passion for mechanics and engineering and takes things apart and rebuilds them for fun.

Tyran does also spend time studying, given his broad knowledge of Jedi philosophy and history. Tyran goes to the Jedi Archives daily, selecting books to read and study on in his spare time when not fooling around with his friends. Others look at Tyran as a smart-alec and book worm, but Tyran doesn't really care nor want to take action about it.

Tyran doesn't have many dislikes, except death and any relative subject that includes death. This may include fighting and weaponry, but besides death subject, Tyran is a happy person.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Tyran’s intelligence is definitely a pro, as he can create plans for just about anything within a matter of seconds. However, with this intelligence comes the ability of not being able to judge fully, as Tyran judges through statistics rather than gut instinct.

Tyran can create things within a matter of moments, using his multi-purpose tool and his brain filled with knowledge of engineering, mechanics, and electricity to create anything to his liking.

In physicality, Tyran is about average on strength, although he does have good lean muscle to fat ratio. To compensate for his lack of strength, Tyran is quite agile and dexterous.

Tyran does lack charisma although he does like to talk.

HISTORY:
The sun had barely come up and city folk were yelling over each other in the streets of a Coronet City in Corellia. As soundwaves fought against one another, one building made no sounds at all. The Eldras factory lay silent, waiting for the birth of a child. Above the droid factory laid a woman and her midewife in one room while the rest of her family waited in another. After enough suspense and sudden shrieks of pain, a little boy began crying loudly for his mother. His mother's touch soothed him as the rest of his family members entered the room to welcome their newest family member into the world.

Born to Dan and Elane Eldras, Tyran grew up in an impoverished setting. Although born into a family of mechanics, they
barely earned enough money to pay the bills and feed themselves. New clothing and equipment were rarely bought with the small income the Eldras family received. The Eldras's supported their family and kept each other happy with a roof over their head. For Tyran's sake and future, it was only tradition for Tyran to become a mechanic; he would be taught by his father, mother, aunts, uncles, and other family members who could teach the boy as he grew up. Three years went by as Tyran would wake up to machinery every morning, spending his days playing with tools and learning the tricks of his family trade.

One evening after work, Elane was playing with Tyran, trying to teach him how a multi-tool worked. Suddenly, an invisible force raised the multi-tool out of Elane's hands and hovered towards Tyran. Tyran giggled and waved his hand back and forth, the object following the motion of Tyran's hand. Shocked, Elane rushed over to her husband to tell him the news. When
Dan heard that Tyran was hovering tools in mid-air, he ran over to his son to see for himself. After witnessing his son float tools like toys, Dan concluded this wasn't the work of the Devil or just his imagination, but that his son was a Force User.

However,
Dan feared for his son; becoming a Jedi would tear him and his wife from their son, something neither could bear to do. Taking it upon himself to bear the burdon, Dan decided to hide Tyran's abilities from the Jedi, keeping the family together and never letting his son out of his sight. Tyran wasn't meant to be a Jedi; he was meant to carry on the family tradition and become a droid manufacturer and live a happy life.

Elane believed otherwise. She believed her son could do more good in the galaxy than in a factory, bringing the talents of the Eldras family to the universe to see. Against her husband's wishes, she called the Jedi to take their son away and become a peacekeeper of the galaxy. Tyran would see his family from time to time as he grew older, but the connection between him and his family would never be the same.

Entering the Jedi Temple at the age of four, Tyran's abilities in the Force were seen quite early as he started to float building blocks that he played with as a child. The Jedi Recruiters also noticed that Tyran was quite a smart child, as he talked with the Jedi in a respectable manner at the level of an adult. The Jedi made a mental note of that as Tyran was taken to the Temple for his training to become a Jedi.

At the Temple, life became a monotonous routine. Tyran would wake up, go to the mess hall for his morning meal, then go to classes, go to the library to do his homework, go to physical training - he despised it, even though he knew he needed to work out, or else he would lose his finesse and physique - and then arrived back at his dormitory for his spare time and sleep. Tyran excelled in his education, although he wasn’t the greatest in working out. However, he was also quite social and made some friends for life. Tyran became known to his peers as a part of the troublemakers, doing incredibly idiotic things to piss off the higher-ups in many funny ways.

However, life went on, as Tyran stuck with what he was good at and filled his room with mechanical objects, reverse engineering them and then rebuilding them towards his needs. Tyran did have a few little accidents, such as setting of the Jedi Alarm System…and was severely reprimanded for it.

Sooner than he knew, Tyran turned thirteen, and it was his last year to become a Padawan or else he would be sent off to into the Jedi Service Corps.
