"I'd be one hell of an armorer if I don't trust my own kit, and I'll jump feet first into hell with this rig. If it don't look traditional, then that's the bloody point- tradition damn near killed us all. I'm just giving us a fresh face and a brand new look. The same badassery, just got twice as badass."

Model: Type II Tactical Modular Rig "De Pavarnr" (Second Chance.)
Ownership: Calico Tassadar (Custom Order for any Indie PC.)
Affiliation: N/A

Intent: Calico may have inherited Jiang's awesome-as-heck Paladin series armor, it's rather overpowered for roleplaying purposes and so have designed this handy piece to accommodate for roleplaying purposes as well as a cheap alternative for any other users who may not wish to spend the necessary effort to create their own battlesuit.
Weight: 25 Kilograms, 55 lbs
Composition: Armor plating is made of reinforced durasteel alloys lined with a thin layer of Kevlar composite and padding to protect vital organs. The surfaces are painted with ablative paint to aid in dissipating heat off the target area. The flightsuit itself is woven from armorweave with a flexible wire mesh grid in between the fabric layers that acts as a futuristic chainmail. The helmet is a lightweight titanium alloy that does not inhibit a movement penalty on the wearer, though affording a modicum of defence against small arms fire. Meanwhile the visor is crafted from a bulletproof plexi-glass.
Rating: Capable of stopping a slug fired from a slughthrower rifle at a maximum range of 350 meters, while has medium energy dissipation ranges for blaster pistols at ranges of 90 meters, rifles of up to 400 meters. Any closer past its effective range and the armor rating falls down to being rather resilient/resistant, but may not fully protect the user from either projectiles. The flight suit is rather durable thanks to its wire mesh that holds the suit together in the event of a close quarters engagement (The wire-mesh acts as a chainmail in regards to piercing melee weaponry such as a knife, and similarly to slashing weapons. Though it does not stop the blade from injuring the user it mitigates the damage dealt in such a way that it is not instantly lethal to the wearer. It is less effective to blunt/crushing weaponry and is rather poor at softening the impact.) resistant to explosives at a maximum range of 7-10 meters, is fireproof and chemically treated to resist biochemical weapons such as poison gas but offers little to no resistance against any caliber of rounds, and slight protection versus blasters. The armor plating provides limited resistance against lightsabers but will not be able to save a user. It features a gorget made of incredible amounts of padding and a durasteel mesh to prevent easy decapitations.

Description: Vacuum rated with an air recycling unit capable of providing up to 30 minutes of air for the user under non-stressful situations, the user is well suited for atmospheric conditions for a limited amount of time. The flight suit itself has a thin layer of gel in between the fabric and the wire mesh that helps regulate internal body temperatures and seal the suit.It also houses a combat computer latched onto the back of the armor protected by armor plating that provides the user a stable connection to the local battlenet and helps keep track of any prominent visual threats and is responsible for micromanaging other minor functions within the suit. The suit itself features an automated medical cocktail injectors, temperature sensors, life-support systems and even a backup electronic system. The helmet has an inbuilt radio, video/audio recorder, a rangefinder and optical zooming function of x10 power and a visor with a polarizing function to protect the user against bright lights. It is entirely sound proof and has an inbuilt chemical filter that can operate for 10 minutes straight. When the lights are out, the helmet is equipped with both infra-red and nightvision modes, giving clear sight even in pitch black. Meanwhile the boots have magnetic soles which can be activated manually or automatically triggered to allow some modicum of control during spacewalks.
The suit is highly modular, featuring several armor ports and magnetic clips for 'smart pouches' for additional ammunition capacity and even a rucksack for any additional gear. This increases its options for personalization and self-made improvements with little hassle, and offering multiple tactical approaches to a problem. On its own, the suit possesses quite a small profile and can be hidden by simply removing the helmet and throwing an overcoat above, making it ideal for hiding it in public. It also is rather mobile and provides ample room for arm and leg rotations and compared to other armor systems is rather lightweight with the weight is spread out around the lower back, upper body and shoulders. Every standard issue set piece however, features a mythosaur skull indentation on the torso armor plating as a mark to signify Mandalorian heritage despite it's unorthodox looks. Yet in the time of Mandalorian persecution, it won't be such a bad thing to be overlooked at first glance.

Truly the armor set for those wanting a second chance in life.

Apparently someone's take on the ODST armor. Which reminds me, I totally forgot to put the credits. Hold on. Changing.

It's badass, and the Keywork's manufacturing asset could produce these...

To be fair, right now Calico has no connections with anyone from Keyworks, and is really not meant for mass production.

I don't see the flightsuit being entirely proof against slashing weapons, especially vibroblades. You also state the flightsuit's defensive capabilities twice and give two different results against slugthrowers.
The flightsuit itself is woven from armorweave with a flexible wire mesh grid in between the fabric layers to increase the suit's resistance against melee weaponry and slughthrower rounds to an extent.
The flight suit is entirely slash-proof and resistant to explosives at a maximum range of 7-10 meters, is fireproof and chemically treated to resist biochemical weapons such as poison gas but offers little to no resistance against any caliber of rounds

Can you clarify that bit?

Updated it's resistance and removed it's initial description of its resistance capabilities. Clarified on the usage of the wire-mesh.
