Two For Two

Location: Ifrane Forests

Reuben was already a knight, having left Ashlyna behind now, the young padawan was on to bigger and better things. Now Ash was being given a new padawan, one with less experience than her former student. Was she nervous? Not really, she was starting to get a hold of this whole 'master' thing now. It wasn't too bad honestly. Sitting atop of a stone monolith, she took in a deep breath and felt out with the force, taking in everything close to her. This world was just teeming with life. It was wonderful honesty, really got her in the mood for some good ol' instructing. Reuben had taught her that she needed to be more lax, she couldn't mother hen her students like she had before. No, she needed to be calm and focused, let them learn as they go.

That was the only way they would truly develop into jedi. That was going to be a difficult step for Ash to take, it was so hard to not care for people, especially her own students, but she would give it her all. Once again, she made an exception and wore her brown jedi garments, though she would have much preferred the comfort of her flight attire. Still, this was all customary, once her padawan arrived well....they could break the ice and start the first exercise of their training. She wondered what he was going to be like, Reuben was such a sweet young man, but very insecure about himself. Clearly no two padawans would be the same, so she wouldn't know until he arrived.

[Noctis Xail]

Noctis bounced through the trees in the purest white snow fall robes you could possibly imagine,"Why meet all the way out here... in the muck and grime and require formal robes?" he thought aloud. Noctis was had no aversions to getting dirty, however stains on stark white formal robes were some what of an annoyance as he took great pride in his appearance. Putting that aside for thought at a later time he returned his focus to navagating the branches until he came to clearing and what appeared to be an old lady sitting upon some ruins. " Is that her?" he wondered out loud again but not loud enough to be hear from a distance though he was certain his voice would carry in such a quiet secluded place. Noctis hopped down from the tree checking himself for stains as he did so only to find a barely noticable mark which caused him to grimace.

Noctis finally was close enough to the monolith to address the old lady that sat upon it in a meditative state. " Hello, Old lady." he said with a smirk " Im Padawan noctis, im supposed to be meeting a knight out here for some 'personal time'." he said as he looked over the message that was sent to him on his datapad. Noctis's violet eyes were locked on to the lady up on the rock his snow white hair blowing gently in the soft breeze as he awaited a response.

Ash felt a presence moving towards her, a small one, weak one, had to be her student! Ash smiled, as she would wait for the young man to approach her, calling out to her. Her brow twitched at being called an 'Old Lady'. She wasn't that old. Like at all, who the hell did he think he was calling her an old lady? She'd show him. Taking in a deep breath, Ash slowly rose and leapt off the stone monument, flipping through the air as she fell a good ten meters, before recovering and landing before the padawan. She quickly rose, bright smile still on display as she looked upon her padawan. He was a young man, probably not much younger than her when she had started her training.

"You're Noctis are you?" She asked, the hydrospanner on her belt bouncing as she stepped closer to look the young man over. "I'm Jedi Knight Ashlyna. You can just call me Ash though, everyone does." She chimed, crossing her arms behind her back. Her and Reuben had stuck it off rather well, but with this padawan it might be different. "I'll be your master, and don't worry, you won't have to wear these robes forever. I don't even like wearing them." Ash added, wanting to rather be adorned in her flight jacket and utility pants.

[Noctis Xail]

Noct watched the Knight jump off the monolith as she flipped through the air and landed gracefully in front of him. "Aye, I'm Noctis." he said with a smirk on his face as she formally introduced her self. " Ash eh? Are you sure you're a Jedi Knight?" he asked questioningly as he leaned closer to her and titled his head to the side as if examining her. " Aren't you a little old to be a Jedi Knight? Shouldn't you be a Master by now?" he asked in a condescending manner as he stood back up and brushed his hair back out of his eyes. His eyes were full of mirth and playfulness as he tested her playfulness and demeanor.

Noctis had always been one to test people to see if they were compatible with his personality so at this point this was nothing more than routine. Though as he stood their awaiting her response he did wonder if he was over playing his hand a bit, as if Ash chose too she could make him her play thing with a simple flick of her hand and that... that would get his robes dirty and then well... then things would go from playing fair to play dirty literally...
