Twin Suns Rising
x
A backwater world where most of the galaxy tends to ignore, Tatooine is a barren and often hostile place where mostly the outcasts and forsaken live at. Yet this desolate planet offers opportunity. Smugglers and other criminally inclined groups have found Tatooine to be a fitting haven away from the restrictive rule of the Sith.
It has become a valid waypoint of illegal trade from Hutt Space to the remaining Outer Rim Territories still independent. It can be used for the Alliance’s advantage to establish a secret presence there.

Cleaning House (completed)The spaceport of Mos Espa has been under the thumb of a petty human tyrant called Yvonne Rongel for a few rotations. Recently she has doubled the amount of protection rackets that outworld and local businesses are forced to pay to work there. Not to mention her enforcers have been causing extensive property damage and public disturbance within the community.
Our agents will go in posing as a team of assassins/bounty hunters hired by rival gangs to assassinate this so-called magistrate. Rongel is hosting a private meeting with subordinates inside the palace she stays in the middle of town. Her security force is numerous and vicious so proceed with caution. Eliminte Magistrate Rongel and her chief lieutenants and Mos Espa will be opened for business once more, specifically ours...

Den of Dragons (completed)Within the Junland Wastes lurks a pack of Canyon Krayt Dragons that’s been terrorizing Jawa caverns and moisture farmers that travel in that path. The job is simple and to the point. Hunt down the overgrown reptiles to their lair and make sure they don’t bother the locals permanently. Beside the obvious goodwill generated from this service we will gain Krayt pearls to sell for profit. Also claim the dragons’ cave to turn into a outpost for ourselves.

Talespin! (completed)Quinn Derang is one of the finest smugglers and best star pilots in the Outer Rim Territories. He commands a sizable band that is very popular in Tatooine’s underworld community. We need to convince this man to join us as a new cell. If successful we will gain his extensive list of contacts and his skilled services to our cause.
This will not be an easy task however. Derang is known to be a proud man and not so easily swayed. He has been known to test possible business partners he negotiates to ship races in Beggar’s Canyon so be ready to fly just in case. The objective is to either win the race or impress him enough with your daring and flight skills. Such a result will warm the spacer up for further negotiations.

Jawas and Droids. (completed)In order to solidify our influence over Tatooine we need to set up a monitoring station to quietly listen into planetary communications. Of course we don’t want to be obvious and have it stayed in one location. In the Northern Dune Sea, a Jawa clan is apparently willing to sell their Sandcrawler, one that can serve this purpose. All the same given their swindling reputation you should first investigate to see if the Sandcrawler is in good working condition before negotiating for a price.
Furthermore be wary there been a rumor spreading among the customers that this group of Jawas been having ‘issues’ with controlling their droids. Use your own discretion on what to do if there is merit to the claims.

Rumble in the Sand (completed)It is widely known Tusken Raiders or Sand People do not care much for any outsiders in their home turf. Typically they just raid farms, small parties on the trails and even the outskirts of small towns. In recent weeks, a number of tribes banding tougher has become more bold and tactical than in the past. These attack appear to be lead by a mysterious and ruthless chieftain whom the locals have dubbed the Warlord.
One town, Rorke has repeatedly been subjected to these attacks that some are referring to it as a siege. In respond the community had formed a new militia, calling themselves the Tatooine Rangers. They’re putting up a valiant effort but need some extra hands. A team will be sent in posting as simple mercenaries to aid in the town’s defense of what is expected to be a massive attack during a sandstorm as done in previous confrontations. We can’t reveal our hand here so stick to only using your personal armaments and whatever is on hand with the Rangers.
Defeat the tusken raiders and take down their Warlord. In exchange the Rangers will agree to serve as a rebel cell, specifically as scouts and guides for us in their planet’s harsh wilderness.

Wayward Son (Wayward Son)A zealous cult called Eternity’s Gate has set up shop in the Great Chott salt flat, causing problems for the collection of moisture farmers that already live there. Itea Rin, the latter’s elected leader who has stand up to the cult in the past is facing a crisis. Her sixteen son Trian has been spotted in Eternity’s Gate. Father Moi the cult head claims the son, has joined them willingly. The boy’s mother denies, claiming he was kidnapped by the cultists in order to blackmail her.
In desperation she has asked for assistance in recusing him from the complex they’re holding the teenager in. This must be done through stealth or else the boy will be harmed or worse. Also be sure to find further evidence of the cult’s crime. A successful conclusion will fully discredit the zealots in the eyes of everyone in the region and forced them to leave. Better yet Ms. Rin will be more than willing to allow us the use of her large estate as a safe house if Trian is recovered.

The Iron Price (completed)An infamous gang of pirates known as the Blood Tridents have increasingly disrupted galactic shipping in the system. Due to the lawless nature on Tatooine actions against the pirates have so far been less than successful. The band is lead by a disgraced yet cunning Falleen noble Zir Lij. We have tracked the Blood Tridents’ base of operations in the far eastern section of the Great Mersra Plateau. They’re using a former B'omarr monastery as their hideout.
We must hit the pirate fortress at dawn with a full scale assault. Due to the secluded location we need not be concerned with witnesses. The space brigands are more used to raiding defenseless cargo freighters than being in a real fight.
Still don’t take chances they may surprise us. The objective is clear destroy the gang who won’t be missed by anybody and capture the monastery. It will serve well as our secret commander center on this planet.

Little Spitfire (completed)Sonna Deli is a gifted zabark slicer who has hacked into most of Tatooine security systems that resides in Anchorhead. However she is known to be what some term politely as a ‘stubborn spitfire’. Her latest antics in town have pissed off a powerful swoop gang who are out for blood. Find Sonna before they do and escort her to safety. According to our intel she been hiding out in a local cantina called the Crusty Sarlacc Pit, start from there.

Supply and Demand (completed)For our future holdings to last longer on this dustball of a world we require solid tech. Specifically for communications, radar, slicing, station maintenance. Fortunately it has come to our attention a lowly crime lord owns a supply depot with the necessary equipment. The place is guarded by his hired thugs on the outskirts of Mos Taike.
Masquerading as rival gang members your team will have the option of either stealing the tech through stealth or stage an outright raid. Whatever you choose be sure to make it look like nothing but a band of Perry outlaws done this. Give us results!

To complete these missions, you can either look for a DM or self-DM using the dice and roll feature. First come, first serve. Each mission will be limited from two to three members. These missions are crucial to the Rebellion's war effort, hence why a posting time limit will be in order. Forty eight hours for two members and seventy two for three members.
Failure to post within that time limit could affect your ability to select the mission of your choosing in the future.
