All men fear something. For most, it's something physical. Monsters. Death. Pain. Tyranny...
The list goes on and on.
But some men, ambitious men, only fear the idea of being forgotten. Even the thought of dying, without leaving their mark in history is intolerable. Men like this are often willing to go to great lengths to insure that their memory withstands the test of time. Some men secure their spot in history by acts of courage and valor. Other use politics. Many even use wealth. But a select few use fear. If you can scar someone mentally, your face will be burned into their mind for all eternity. Your name will always be on the tip of their tongue. Your actions will haunt their dreams forever.
Kynigos wants infamy. He wants to be remembered. And he wants to be feared...
Kynigos is the perfect example of a psychopath. Much like a snake, Kynigos is smart. Clever even. But he's always looking for a chance to prove himself through violence. This is not to say he goes around picking fights though. Kynigos isn't dumb enough to try sword fighting a Jedi. He will wait. Biding his time until the odds are overwhelmingly in his favor, and then he will strike. Quick. Precise. And almost always in public.
Got to do things in public if you want to be seen, ya know?
His general personality makes Kynigos excellent for bounty hunting. His sociopathic tendencies remove any form of guilt, while his lust for recognition and fame drive him like a madman. His ability to lie and cheat his way through most scenarios makes it easy to learn about and track his targets, and when that doesn't work, Kynigos' heartless nature is more than capable or beating his informants into speaking.
Intellectually speaking, Kynigos' area of knowledge is fairly broad. He knows the basics when it comes to technology and mechanical engineering, while he is much more adept when it's comes to explosives, marksmanship, and medical knowledge. Anything pertaining to the force is all but lost to him, though he couldn't care less, just as long as those Jedi stay nice and dead after he kills one...
Notable Skills:
Marksmanship: Armed with a firearm, Kynigos isn't a threat to be taken lightly. He excels in close quarters firefights, where aggression is often the determining factor. While armed with a precision rifle, Kynigos is capable of making long range shots, partially because he is willing to wait for the perfect moment to fire. In either situation, Kynigos knows how to effectively use his weapon without wasting ammunition or damaging his weapon.
Hand-to-hand: Granted, Kynigos would have quite the struggle if he were to try and fist fight a Jedi. Unless of course, said Jedi was in a cantina full of people, in which case Kynigos' chances are significantly increased. Kynigos fights dirty. If he has to put civilians between himself and his opposition, he will. If he's gotta use whatever is closest as a club, Kynigos has got no problem with it. Often, a fight is determined by who is willing to put more on the line. Kynigos refuses to lose over something as silly as morality. If you're not cheating, your not really trying.
Physical Capabilities: Kynigos is still in his prime. Physically, he is very fit, with a body intended for agility and endurance rather than raw strength. He might not be able to overpower his opponent, but Kynigos will make damn sure that he isn't caught.
Piloting: Kynigos is quite familiar with the inside of a cockpit. He is no ace of course, at least not yet, but he is very good when it comes to evasive maneuvers and tactics.
Attributes:
As stated, Kynigos is still in his physical prime. Add his rigorous lifestyle to a body that is already naturally lean, and you've created the shell of a soldier. Kynigos can easily handle the weight of his equipment while performing in a combat scenario for long periods of time. Kynigos values agility, as it is often a litteral lifesaver.
Mentally, Kynigos is mildly unstable. He's most comparable to a crocodile. Mild, content, but almost always lying in wait. Kynigos may snap at any time, putting a few holes in whoever is nearby.
Bio
When you think of a monster, you typically imagine someone who has done something unforgivable. It is human nature to try and explain this sort of behavior. Often, the blame is placed upon a poor environment growing up, or perhaps a traumatic experience. However, often times, all it takes to create a monster, is opportunity...
Kynigos didn't have a bad family life, not even in the slightest. He was born to a stable family, with a hard working father and an attentive mother. He was an average student, and average athlete, average anything. It seems as though there was no reason for Kynigos to ever become the man he did.
But I guess sometimes things happen with no reason at all.
At the age of fourteen, Kynigos left home, heading into the crime infested underbelly of Coruscant in search of his glory. What he found instead, was a life of violence and grief, a life that Kynigos quickly adapted to. It wasn't long at all before Kynigos got his hands on a pistol and set to work. Initially, he was little more than a petty mugger; striking at those who were unfortunate to cross his path. But soon enough, Kynigos made contact with the local gangs and became a sort of hitman.
For the right price, Kynigos would 'take care of' whomever.
Eventually, this lead to infractions with the local officials, and Kynigos fled offworld, heading to the outer rim. There, his work expanded. He'd take bounties from the Hutts, or anyone really; while also offering himself as a soldier of fortune. It was about this time that he became obsessed with the idea of infamy. Kynigos developed a bit of a style, one that grew increasingly violent and exceptionally brutal, while also maintaining a growing professionalism comparable to legitimate military services.
This back water hunter was growing in skill, as with ambition. And he's set his sights back on Coruscant. Now confident in his abilities, Kynigos plans on heading home...for better, or for worse.
